Definitions
- the invention relates to a horizontal or tray mixer with a rotating A shaft having a plurality of mixing blades radially spaced from the shaft carries associated with the axial mixer sections.
- the mixer sections are essentially subordinate to each other.
- the rotating carries Wave a plurality of scrapers, which in the rotation of the shaft a wall of the mixer.
- Such horizontal mixers are known and often used for processes, in which the mix must be added or removed heat, z. B. in reaction, drying or conching processes. It depends on the efficiency The mixer largely depends on that between the wall of the mixer and the mix material as good as possible heat transfer takes place.
- Document DE-1276 986 discloses a mixer according to the preamble of Claim 1.
- this arm Due to the load of the mix, this arm must respect its Strength be dimensioned at least as strong as an arm, the one Wearing mixing element. As the specific loads of the scraper but often are also higher than in a mixing element, the scraper carrying Arm often also be larger in size than an arm, which is a mixing element wearing.
- the additional arm for the scraper increases the friction within of the mixed material and thus the total energy consumption of the mixing device.
- the discussed above disadvantages of the previously known methods are bypassed.
- the invention has the advantage that because of the assembly of the scraper directly to the mixing blades for the scraper be provided no separate arms have to. This is already achieved that due to the attachment or Support elements for the scrapers no friction occurs within the mix and that no energy requirement for the drive of the mixing element be provided with increasing components.
- each adjacent Mixing bucket By the scraper while in the axial mixing section of each adjacent Mixing bucket will also avoid being between a mixing paddles and their trailing scraper product accumulations and product compression can form.
- the scrapers can be aligned in the direction of rotation neutral axially parallel be. But it is also within the scope of the invention, the scrapers in the direction of rotation with the free end opposite its attachment point to align in advance or to align later.
- the orientation of the Scraper has an additional effect on the mixing effect, because of their Alignment an additional axial promotion and thus an additional mixture of the mix is reached.
- each mixing blade can be both at its front end as well wear a scraper at the rear end of their mixing blade.
- the scrapers then protrude into both the axial mixer portion of the upstream in the axial direction Mixing blade into and into the axial mixer section of the in the axial direction downstream mixing blade.
- the scrapers can over the entire length of the adjacent axial mixer section extend. It is also in the frame the invention when a scraper only about half or a little more than that Half of the adjacent axial mixer section sweeps over and a scraper, from the other direction in the same axial mixer section protrudes, the remaining section passes. In the middle region of the axial Mixer section, it may cause an overlap of the scrapers come over swept areas. Preferably, the overlap is but on the entire length of the axial mixer section, since the best possible solution of mix is achieved from the wall of the mixer, if the section ultimately except from the mixing blade also by two scrapers is swept over.
- the scrapers are pivotable about a longitudinal axis.
- These Pivoting can also be controlled, for example via a Pneumatic, a hydraulic or an electric motor.
- the energy for this Adjustment drives can in particular by the trainees as a hollow shaft Shaft of the mixer are supplied.
- the scraper is at its front in the direction of rotation Edge provided with an edge protection.
- the movable scrapers on their the wall of the Mixers facing bottom to be provided with spacer strips. These pose a minimum distance of the scraper to the wall safely.
- the bars run along the mixer wall, they are in particular one Material manufactured, due to its specific properties, a direct Contact with the wall of the mixer allows. On the one hand, that the material have a corresponding abrasion resistance to prevent the mix from being contaminated by abrasive material becomes. On the other hand, the friction coefficient between the Material and the mixer wall of relevance, thus not due to additional Friction inadmissible temperature increases in the mix or on the scraper arise.
- FIG. 1 can be seen the schematic representation of a mixer. at this mixer is a horizontal or a tray mixer, the one substantially horizontally oriented rotating shaft. 1 having.
- a mixing blade 3 is attached to this shaft via an arm 2.
- This mixing blade moves according to a rotation of the shaft 1 the arrow 4 in a direction according to the arrow 5. Since the mixing blade there an angle of attack ⁇ in the order of 45 ° to 70 ° to the longitudinal axis of the Mischers, promotes the mixing blade in the axial direction according to the Arrow 6.
- a mixing blade can also be mounted on the rotating shaft 1 be as shown in Figure 3 and the two in opposite Direction employed employed mixing blades.
- This mixing blade moves during a rotation of the shaft 1 according to the arrow 4 in the direction 5, wherein the two mixing blades with respect to the longitudinal axis of the shaft 1 an angle of attack ⁇ of about 60 ° and against the wall 7 an angle ⁇ of about 75 °.
- FIG. 4 is a sectional view the line B-B in Figure 3 is.
- each mixing blade passes over during rotation the shaft 1 an axial section MA of the mixer.
- One in the axial direction Accordingly adjacent mixing blade sweeps over an axially adjacent Mixer section.
- each mixing blade 3 has one or two Scrapers 9. These scrapers extend substantially parallel to the central axis the shaft 1 and thereby paint an axial section of the mixer wall. As a result, they dissolve in this axial section forming deposits from the mixer wall and carry this settling mix again to the actual mixing process. This will also achieve that the wall of the mixer does not impede the passage of heat solid layer forms.
- the scrapers are usually about 0.5 - 3 mm apart Wall of the mixer, so do not touch it.
- scrapers 9 are outside the axial mixer section MA, which is swept by the mixing blade 3, and thus protrude into an adjacent axial mixer section.
- a mixer is shown as a schematic diagram for this purpose.
- the shaft 1 is represented only by its midline. At this midline are over 2 arms in the Example shown here six mixing blades 3 attached. These are on numbered lower edge of the sketch numbered 1 to 6.
- the mixing blades 1 to 3 due to their employment over the shaft 1 substantially to the right, while the mixer blades 4 to 6 in the Substantially to the left. This results in a promotion within of the mixer from both ends towards the middle.
- each subordinate axial mixer section Cover MA, MB, MC, MD, ME and MF.
- the scrapers 9, which are identified by the reference numeral 3 in FIG Connecting mixing blades in the axial direction are shown in FIG. 7 as transverse straight lines shown. These scrapers extend in each case in the axial mixer section of the adjacent mixing blade.
- each axial mixer section MA - MF except by a mixing blade by at least one scraper of each overlined on adjacent mixing blades.
- this is only one scraper at a time the one to the adjacent Mixing blades 2 and 5 are attached
- each scraper the same axial mixer section paint over, attached to the adjacent mixing blades are. (That is, at the mixing blades 1 and 3, 2 and 4, 3 and 5 or 4 and 6 for the correspondingly considered mixing blades 2 - 5).
- FIG. 8 shows a development of a mixer in which the Move mixing paddles 1, 3 and 5 to the right if appropriate move the arrow 13 through the mix.
- Mixing blades 2, 4 and 6 but this mixer have a conveying direction to the left. This will be a evenly changing mixing direction achieved and thus a particularly effective Mixing of mix.
- the axial region, that of a mixing blade represented by an oblique line that coincides with a number is provided), also by at least one Scrapers swept over (the straight line at the end of a diagonal, numbered line is applied).
- the mixing blade 3 is substantially is formed by a mixing blade 3A, through the arm 2 at a radial distance is guided to the shaft 1.
- This mixing blade has a front end 16 and a rear end 18 on. At these ends, the scrapers 9 are attached.
- FIG. 11 shows a further exemplary embodiment in this regard. in which a mixing blade 3 moves along the arrow 22. there is attached to the rear mixing blade end 18 scraper 19 with its free End 20 also trailing the attachment point 21 on the mixing blade educated.
- FIG. 12 shows a mixing blade 3 in a side view.
- the Bottom edge 26 of the mixing blade extends substantially along that of the Blender 3 bladed mixer wall.
- this tangent also the angle of attack ⁇ of the wiper is measured, which is between the top of the scraper 9 and said tangent is and about 10 ° to 45 ° equivalent.
- the Abireer 9 shown in the figure 12 in each case an edge protection 32.
- This change in angle can be controlled, for example, by the scraper 31 is adjusted by motor, as shown in Figure 15.
- Motor 29 are electric, hydraulic or pneumatic adjusting motors possible.
- an eccentric bearing as seen in FIG. 13 is also possible conceivable in which the area ratio "a" is greater than the area ratio "b". This constantly ensures that the inflowing mix the scraper 31 and pressed with a certain pressure against the wall of the mixer. This is done automatically due to the eccentric mounting of the scraper 31.
- the spacer strips 30 are preferably made of a material such as modified PTFE or an ultra-high molecular weight polyolefin or polypropylene. These spacer strips 30 can be replaced after their wear, so that in the long term, a minimum distance of the adjustable scraper 31st can be ensured by the wall 7.
