Definitions
- the invention relates to a washing glove, in particular for personal care, which is formed by two interconnected fabric layers, with a one-sided insertion opening for insertion of a washing glove leading hand and with the opening associated elastic fixing device for fixing the washing glove on the hand.
- a comparable cleaning glove suggests DE-U-93 13 081 in front.
- the previously known glove has a variable constriction in the region of the insertion opening, which adapts to the wrist of the user. In this way it should be prevented that the cleaning glove can slide during the washing process of the user's hand.
- the variable constriction is preferably realized by an elastic rubber band, which is incorporated in the region of the insertion opening of the cleaning glove in the tissue.
- a washing glove made of rubber known the interior of which is sealed against the ingress of liquid and the insertion opening can be tightened by a rubber ring placed around the outside of the engagement opening.
- This rubber ring is intended to secure the washing glove in use on the wrist and protect the inside of the washing glove against any ingress of liquid.
- the cleaning glove of the type mentioned has a number of disadvantages: When the glove is not in use, the pulls Constriction together, so that the cross section of the insertion reduces, which causes the fabric from which the glove is made, loses its flat shape and wrinkles. As a result, the thoroughly soaked after use cleaning glove dries only badly and unevenly. In addition, the previously known glove is not stackable, resulting in a significant footprint for storage results. Also, during use, the constriction contracts on the wrist, which disadvantageously leads to a correspondingly smaller part of the entire tissue surface being usable for the cleaning process. Characterized that the constriction of the prior art glove snugly fits the user's wrist, an exchange of air or cleaning liquid between the interior of the cleaning glove and the environment is difficult.
- the fixing device has an independent of the fabric layers of the washing glove elastically deformable fixation loop whose circumference is adapted to the circumference of the user's wrist and determines the user's wrist within the insertion opening in that the areas of the insertion opening located laterally next to the wrist remain open.
- the washing glove according to the invention thus completely dispenses with a constriction, as is known in the prior art.
- the cross section the insertion opening can not contract, with the result that the majority of the associated disadvantages is avoided.
- the washing glove according to the invention in the region of the insertion opening can not be tight against the wrist of the user, so that it can not come to the disadvantageous sealing effect here.
- the edge of the insertion opening is stiffened, which results in that the washing mitt according to the invention is held in its flat shape. On the one hand, this results in optimum utilization of the washing surface. On the other hand, the drying of the soaked glove is favored and the stackability is ensured.
- the fixing loop is an elastic band whose circumference is adapted to the circumference of the wrist of the inserted into the washing glove hand.
- Such tapes are commercially available as rubber bands or as rubber fabric tapes and can be used in a simple way to low production costs for the washing glove according to the invention. Ensures the elasticity of the loop that the user's hand can be easily inserted into the washing glove, after which the washing glove is securely fixed to the hand and can not slip even with violent washing movements.
- the loop should be able to be opened and closed by means of suitable closing elements. It may be necessary due to wear and tear to replace the loop made of elastic band after repeated use of the washing glove. In particular, however, it should be possible to completely remove the loop for the purpose of thorough cleaning of the soiled washing glove.
- the elastic band from which the fixation loop consists through bushings in the edge of the insertion opening of the invention to lead wash mitt. This ensures that parts of the loop in each case run inside and outside the edge of the insertion opening.
- the bushings are arranged at a distance from the lateral edges of the washing glove adjoining the insertion opening.
- this is necessary in order to be able to fix the washing glove to the inserted hand, because the entire width of the glove corresponds approximately to the width of the human hand with splayed fingers.
- the wrist however, on which the elastic: loop attacks for fixation, is much narrower.
- the arrangement of the bushings achieved that the sides of the wrist areas are kept open in the insertion, through which an exchange between the glove interior and the environment can take place. The possibility of accessing the air avoids that the soaked glove engages tightly against the inserted hand. This effectively eliminates the above-mentioned disadvantages associated therewith.
- the lateral openings of the further can be used to flush the washing glove according to the invention from the inside with cleaning liquid while it is on the user's hand.
- the two fabric layers of the washing glove according to the invention are made of different materials. Each material may have different cleansing effects, it is then possible in a simple manner, to achieve by turning the glove, the desired washing effect. It is particularly possible to produce the two fabric layers of polstoff with pile threads each having different titer.
- a fabric layer can be equipped with pile threads with a particularly high titer, so that there is a strong abrasive cleaning effect for coarse dirt.
- the other fabric layer could then be provided with pile threads with low titre, so that there is a good suction for sucking up cleaning liquid.
- the elastic fixing device consists of at least two elastic bands which are sewn to the inner surfaces of the fabric layers at a distance from the lateral edges of the washing glove, so that the two fabric layers by the elastic bands in the area the insertion are connected to each other.
- This embodiment of the washing glove is particularly easy to manufacture and has over the above-described variant has the advantage that the fixing device is firmly connected to the wash mitt and thus, unlike the loose elastic loop, can not be accidentally lost.
- FIGS. 1 and 2 are an upper cleaning fabric layer 1 with a lower fabric layer 2 connected together at the edge.
- On one side of the washing glove results in an insertion opening 3, in which a washing glove leading hand can be introduced.
- the insertion opening has a stiffened edge 4, by which the washing glove is held in its flat shape.
- a fixing device in the form of an elastic loop 5 is arranged within the edge 4.
- the elastic band is guided through slots 6 in the stiffened edge 4, so that it runs partly in the interior and partly in the outer region of the washing glove.
- the elastic band is deformable in its function as a fixing device regardless of the fabric layers 1 and 2 of the washing glove; the edge 4 of the insertion opening always maintains its shape, regardless of whether the washing glove is in the hands of a user, or not.
- the slots 6 are spaced from the side edge of the glove so that the gap between the inner portions of the elastic loop is about the width of a wrist.
- the illustrated arrangement of the elastic loop 5 thereby contributes that the stiffened edge 4 is contracted while maintaining the flat shape of the washing glove.
- the elastic band 5 On the outside of the washing glove is the elastic band 5 with a closing and adjusting 7, so that the loop can be adapted or removed as needed.
- FIG. 3 shows a second embodiment in which the elastic fixing device 5 instead of the only loosely connected to the washing glove elastic loop consists of two sewn firmly to the fabric layers 1 and 2 elastic bands.
- the elastic bands fulfill their function as a fixation device, wherein they are elastically deformable regardless of the fabric layers 1 and 2 of the washing glove.
- the elastic bands are sewn at a distance from the lateral edge of the glove on the inner surfaces of the fabric layers 1 and 2, wherein the gap between the running in the interior of the insertion opening 3 bands corresponds approximately to the width of a wrist.
Description
- Fig 1:
- Ansicht der Einführöffnung eines ersten Ausführungsbeispiels des Waschhandschuhs;
- Fig 2:
- Waschhandschuh in Draufsicht;
