Abstract

L'invention concerne une soupape d'injection de carburant pour moteurs à combustion interne, comportant un corps de soupape (1), dans lequel est disposé à l'intérieur d'un alésage (5) un élément de soupape (7) qui peut se déplacer axialement en opposition à une force de fermeture. Cet élément de soupape (7) comporte en son extrémité une pointe (30) essentiellement conique, dont une partie de la surface latérale, servant de surface d'étanchéité (9), s'appuie contre un siège de soupape (11) situé sur l'extrémité de l'alésage (5) qui se trouve du côté de la chambre de combustion. A la jonction de l'élément de soupape (7) avec la pointe (30) de celui-ci se trouve une rainure (23) annulaire qui dégage en partie la surface d'étanchéité (9) et forme ainsi un col annulaire (28) élastique. L'angle de cône ( beta ) de la surface d'étanchéité (9) est, lorsque l'élément de soupape (7) est en position d'ouverture, un peu plus grand que l'angle de cône ( alpha ) du siège de soupape (11), de telle sorte que le col annulaire (28), lorsque l'élément de soupape (7) effectue le mouvement de fermeture, touche le siège de soupape, d'abord avec le bord extérieur formant une arête d'étanchéité (34), puis il est contraint vers l'intérieur à mesure que le mouvement de fermeture se poursuit. L'arête d'étanchéité (34) n'est donc pas enfoncée dans le siège de soupape (11), le diamètre du siège gardant ainsi la même dimension durant toute la longévité de la soupape d'injection de carburant.
