Definitions

  • the present invention relates to an adjustment device for Swiveling a swivel element of a piece of furniture in the living, working or Care area compared to a fixed element of this piece of furniture.
  • Such adjustment devices are used for example in beds used, the head and / or foot section is height adjustable to the individual needs of the user.
  • a stake with armchairs, cupboards or other pieces of furniture is also conceivable.
  • DE-G 93 07 322.4 is a retrofittable, motor-driven lifting device for moving the head and / or foot sections of a slatted frame known a bed in which a cross member on the frame of Slatted frame is placed on which a drive motor and a scissor linkage is held.
  • the upper, free side of the scissor linkage is in a guide bar and on the head or foot of the slatted frame attached.
  • Via a spindle and connecting the two scissor elements the scissors linkage becomes an actuator that moves the spindle axially, and thus the head or foot part.
  • the spindle becomes this due to the dead weight of the head or foot section or the person resting on it predominantly under tension.
  • the Lifting device according to DE-G 93 07 322.4 essentially pull and Pressure forces on the slatted frame and the associated headboard and only negligible bending moments caused by the existing slatted frame or Headboard can be picked up without this through expensive Hardware must be reinforced.
  • the lifting device according to DE-G 93 07 322.4 consists of many complicated individual parts that are also used to derive the loads must be appropriately large. Furthermore, it hides Scissors linkage the risk that objects or parts of the body such as Arms or legs when moving the head or foot part in it caught, which can lead to damage or even injury.
  • the present invention is based on the object to create an adjustment device that can be easily sent to any Mattress frame can be assembled without expensive fittings installed and the risk of injury is reduced to a minimum.
  • the adjustment device according to the invention has the advantage that the Attachment to the furniture at only two or three points is required, so that the adjustment device is kept quasi self-supporting. Hence is both the swivel arm and the holding arm in a simple manner and without With the help of fittings can be attached to the furniture, which is why the adjustment device with little effort in the manufacture of slatted frames can be used and why retrofitting existing Slatted frames are possible inexpensively.
  • Another advantage is that the risk of injury at the adjustment device according to the invention is very small, since here only move two arms relative to each other and there the holding and the adjusting arm away from the cross member of the slatted frame into the interior of the furniture, especially in a space below the slatted frame are aligned. Thereby the adjustment device is difficult to see and difficult from the outside accessible so that the adjustment device also against accidental Damage is protected.
  • the arrangement of the holding and adjusting arm in one level has the advantage that the required space is kept low, so that the adjustment device even in small furniture or in furniture with little available standing installation space can be installed.
  • the actuator is rigidly on a Furniture attached bracket held for easy assembly and one To ensure inexpensive manufacturing.
  • the free arm moves End of the actuator arm on a circular path that is not identical to the Circular path of the head part must be.
  • the actuator arm is advantageously by means of a length compensation device held on the swivel element or on the head part.
  • This length compensation device can be an elongated hole, for example.
  • this length compensation device dispensed with and instead the arm can be swiveled on Fixed element attached. Since the holding arm can now also be swiveled, it can the actuating arm moves the entire adjusting device during its upward movement move up or down within certain limits, so the different Compensate the circular path of the actuating arm and head section. This causes at the same time that from the adjustment device only pull and Pressure forces are transmitted to the slatted frame and the headboard and that the torsional and torsional moments that strain the material are eliminated. Consequently, the adjustment device according to the invention outgoing forces absorbed by standard slatted frames and can be transferred without expensive or additional fittings or other material reinforcements are required.
  • Yet another advantage of the adjustment device is that the arrangement of the actuator arm transverse to the main direction of movement Adjustment device in a simple manner and without additional equipment can be attached to the swivel element and that the adjusting device extends far into the interior of the furniture, so that through the Adjustment injuries to the operator or Damage to property can be avoided.
  • the friction is reduced due to the few components required between the components so that a smaller drive motor is chosen can be, which leads to a further cost reduction.
  • Adjustment device easily retrofitted to existing slatted frames can be because only the holding arm is rigid or pivotable on Crossbar of the slatted frame (fixed element) needs to be attached and since the adjusting arm can only be pivoted on the cross member of the head part (Swivel element) needs to be attached. This is an assembly the inventive step device on existing slatted frames possible for a handyman.
  • the steep drive is over a holding device is pivotally held on the holding arm or on the furniture.
  • At least one cantilever arm with a spherical or cylindrical trained end to be provided in a corresponding on the actuator attached recess engages. Because of the spherical or The cantilever can have a cylindrical design for the free end of the cantilever are held in the recess and can still be pivoted.
  • the Extend recess radially away from the spindle axis.
  • the actuator about the pivot axis thus formed in easily pivoted and still be held reliably.
  • the recess engages by more than 180 ° around the spherical or cylindrical end of the cantilever around.
  • a slip clutch is between the control arm and Holding arm provided a slip clutch.
  • This structural separation from The actuating arm and holding arm represent an interruption in the power flow from Drive motor to the swivel element. That is, if when shutting down For example, the headboard is an obstacle between the headboard and Slatted frame, the actuator is moved further, but the power from the drive motor is not transferred to the obstacle, since the separation of the actuating arm and the holding arm prevents this. hereby damage to the obstacle and injuries to the operating personnel avoided.
  • the slip clutch advantageously comprises a one guided on the spindle Carrier for the rotatable mounting of the actuating arm, the Front of the housing is wavy and its Front side in a correspondingly wavy stop on End of the spindle can be engaged.
  • This has the advantage of being under load standing actuator arm the driver on its wavy end face to the presses correspondingly wavy side of the stop, so that this positive connection means that the spindle also turns is reliably prevented. This eliminates an otherwise usual one Protection against rotation of the spindle.
  • the present invention is based on the knowledge that that the actuator of the adjustment device has very large axial forces must record to the element to be adjusted, in particular with a person resting on it, to be able to adjust and that this radial forces that occur are much smaller.
  • a particularly preferred embodiment is characterized by an actuator with a drive motor, the output shaft as Is designed to be axially movable with a worm wheel held spindle, the worm meshing the worm wheel, and with a housing supporting the drive motor, in which the worm wheel is rotatably mounted, between the worm wheel and the housing at least one needle bearing to absorb the axial forces and at least a slide bearing is provided to absorb the radial forces.
  • An actuator designed according to this technical teaching has the advantage that the needle bearing can withstand the high axial forces that occur can reliably absorb, and that the low radial forces also and adequately absorbed by an inexpensive plain bearing can be. That is, the present invention can do that the known prior art, expensive ball bearings against a cheaper Needle bearings and an even more economical plain bearing can be replaced. At the same time, the small space requirement of the needle and / or the The bearing can be dimensioned accordingly smaller, which too leads to further cost savings.
