Description

Die vorliegende Erfindung betrifft eine wiederverschließbare Kunststoffverpackung, die aus einer Verpackungsmulde und einer Deckelfolie besteht, wobei die Deckelfolie mindestens teilweise peelbar an die Verpackungsmulde gesiegelt ist.
Weiterhin betrifft die Erfindung ein Verfahren zur Herstellung einer derartigen Verpackung.
Verpackungsgüter, insbesondere Lebensmittel werden heutzutage immer öfter in Kunststoffverpackungen zum Verkauf angeboten. Diese Kunststoffverpackungen weisen eine Verpackungsmulde, in der sich das Verpackungsgut befindet und einen Deckelfolie auf. Die Deckelfolie ist an die Verpackungsmulde gesiegelt. Da das Verpackungsgut nach dem Öffnen oftmals nicht sofort verbraucht wird, ist es von Vorteil, wenn die Verpackung nach dem Öffnen wiederverschließbar ist.
Es hat deshalb in der Vergangenheit nicht an Versuchen gefehlt, wiederverschließbare Verpackungen zur Verfügung zu stellen. Beispielhaft seien hier nur die EP 0 564 695 (die eine Verpackung gemäss dem Oberbegriff des Anspruchs 1 und ein Verfahren zur Herstellung derselben offenbart), DE 39 25 746, EP 0 386 490, DE 39 41 183, EP 0 408 516, WO 97/05023, EP 0 716 986, EP 0 595 368, EP 0 579 262, EP 0 506 295, EP 0 427 513, EP 0 427 512, EP 0 385 565, EP 0 381 329 oder EP0 379 927 genannt, in denen entweder Verfahren und Vorrichtungen zur Herstellung einer wiederverschließbaren Verpackung und/oder die wiederverschließbare Verpackung selbst gelehrt werden. Alle die, in den oben genannten Veröffentlichungen offenbarten, wiederverschließbaren Verpackungen haben entweder den Nachteil, daß sie aufwendig herzustellen und/oder nur schlecht wiederverschließbar sind.
Es stellt sich deshalb die Aufgabe eine wiederverschließbare Kunststoffverpackung zur Verfügung zu stellen, die die Nachteile des Standes der Technik nicht aufweist.
Die Aufgabe wird erfindungsgemäß durch die Bereitstellung einer wiederverschließbaren Kunststoffverpackung aus einer Verpackungsmulde und einer Deckelfolie gemäss Anspruch 1 gelöst, wobei die Deckelfolie im Siegelbereich mindestens teilweise peelbar an die Verpackungsmulde gesiegelt ist und die Deckelfolie oder die Verpackungsmulde mindestens eine Noppe und die Verpackungsmulde oder die Deckelfolie komplementär dazu mindestens eine Aussparung aufweist, durch die die Noppe gesteckt wird, so daß die Kunststoffverpackung nach dem Öffnen wiederverschließbar ist.
Eine Verpackungsmulde im Sinne der Erfindung ist jede dem Fachmann geläufige Verpackungsmulde, die aus einer, vorzugsweise für die Verpackung von Lebensmitteln üblichen, thermoplastischen und formstabilen Ein- oder Mehrschichtfolie hergestellt wurde.
Die Folie muß an mindestens einer ihrer beiden Oberflächen eine Siegelschicht aufweisen, die peelfähig ist. Als Siegelschicht wird vorzugsweise eine Mischung aus LDPE (Low Density Polyethylen) und einem Polybutylen verwendet. Die Mischung enthält vorzugsweise 15 bis 30 Gew.%, besonders bevorzugt 20 bis 28 Gew.% Polybutylen. Vorzugsweise weist das Polybutylen einen Schmelzindex (MFI) im Bereich von 0,3 bis 2,0 g/10 min (190°C und 216 kg gemäß ASTM 1238) auf.
Besonders bevorzugt wird die Verpackungsmulde aus einer mehrschichtigen Folie mit einer geschäumten Trägerfolie, vorzugsweise einer geschäumten Polyolefonfolie, besonders bevorzugt Polypropylenfolie, hergestellt.
Ganz besonders bevorzugt wird die Verpackungsmulde aus einer Folie hergestellt, wie sie in der Patentanmeldung mit dem Aktenzeichen des Deutschen Patentamtes 198 40 046.2 offenbart ist.
Die thermogeformten, vorzugsweise tiefgezogenen Verpackungsmulden werden nach dem Befüllen mit dem Verpackungsgut mit einer dem Fachmann geläufigen, tiefziehbaren Deckelfolien verschlossen. Als Deckelfolien eignen sich insbesondere Mehrschichtfilme mit einer Gassperrschicht aus Ethylenvinylalkoholcopolymer, vorzugsweise aus Polyethylenterephtalat(PET)/Haftvermlttlerschicht/Polyethylen/Haftver-mittlerschicht/Ethylen-Vinylalkoholcopolymer/Haftvermittlerschicht/Polyethylen, wobei die Polyethylenterephtalatschicht durch Polypropylen ersetzt sein kann.
Sofern die Deckelfolie der erfindungsgemäßen Verpackung die Aussparung aufweist, kann sie auch als Gassperrschicht SiOx aufweisen. Vorzugsweise ist dann die Deckelfolie aus PET/SiOx/Haftvermittler/Polyethylen aufgebaut.
Die Deckelfolie wird erfindungsgemäß an die Verpackungsmulde im Siegelbereich gesiegelt, wobei die Deckelfolie mindestens teilweise peelbar an die Verpackungsmulde gesiegelt wird. Für die peelfähige Siegelung wird die Deckelfolie bei einer Temperatur von 130°C bis 150°C, vorzugsweise von 135 bis 145°C, und einem Druck von 3 bis 8 • 105 N/m2, vorzugsweise von 4,0 bis 5,0 • 105 N/m2 an die Verpackungsmulde gesiegelt. Sofern die erfindungsgemäßen Verpackungen einen nicht peelbare, d. h. fest gesiegelten Teilbereich des Siegelbereiches aufweisen sollen, so wird die feste Siegelung vorzugsweise bei einer mindestens 10°C höheren Temperatur und vorzugsweise dem zweifachen Druck durchgeführt als die peelbare Siegelung. Eine feste Siegelung im Sinne der Erfindung ist eine Siegelung, bei der die Ablösekraft der Deckelfolie um mindestens das Fünffache höher sein muß als im Bereich der peelbaren Siegelung.
Der Siegelbereich an der Verpackungsmulde befindet sich vorzugsweise auf einer waagerechten Ebene oberhalb des Verpackungsgutes und erstreckt sich vorzugsweise auf dieser Ebene um das gesamte Verpackungsgut herum. Bei einer vieleckigen Kunststoffverpackung kann die Deckelfolie an vorzugsweise mindestens einer Seite dieses Vielecks mit der Verpackungsmulde fest gesiegelt, während die Deckelfolie in dem verbleibenden Siegelbereich peelfähig mit der Verpackungsmulde gesiegelt ist. Bei einer runden Verpackung kann vorzugsweise 5-25% des Siegelbereiches mit einer festen Siegelung versehen sein.
Erfindungsgemäß weist die Verpackungsmulde oder die Deckelfolie mindestens eine Aussparung auf, die sich vorzugsweise auf der waagerechten Ebene oberhalb des Verpackungsgutes befindet. Die Aussparung kann eine beliebige Form und Größe haben, die jedoch mit der Form der Noppe kompatibel sein muß. Vorzugsweise ist die Aussparung näherungsweise kreisförmig mit einem Durchmesser von 3 bis 12 mm, vorzugsweise von 4 bis 9 mm. Die Aussparung wird vorzugsweise in die Verpackungsmulde oder die Deckelfolie gebohrt oder gestanzt, wobei Stanzen besonders bevorzugt ist.
Ebenfalls erfindungsgemäß weist die Deckelfolie oder die Verpackungsmulde mindestens eine Noppe auf, die zur Aussparung in der Verpackungsmulde oder die Deckelfolie komplementär angeordnet ist und deren Form mit der Form der Aussparung so kompatibel sein muß, daß sie durch die Aussparung gesteckt werden kann und dort verbleibt. Vorzugsweise hat die Noppe näherungsweise die Form eines Zylinders, dessen Durchmesser vorzugsweise von 3 bis 12 mm und dessen Länge vorzugsweise von 3 bis 15 mm, besonders bevorzugt 4 bis 8 mm, beträgt. Ganz besonders bevorzugt ist der Durchmesser der Noppe ≥ dem Durchmesser der näherungsweise kreisförmigen Aussparung.
Vorzugsweise wird/werden die Noppe(n) bzw. die Aussparung(en) näher am Außenrand der Kunststoffverpackung angeordnet als der Siegelbereich.
Sofern ein fester Siegelbereich vorhanden ist, dann werden die Noppe(n) bzw. die Aussparung(en) so an der Kunststoffverpackung angebracht, daß sie außerhalb des Bereichs der festen Siegelung, bevorzugt diametral gegenüber liegen. Diese Anordnung hat den Vorteil, daß die Deckelfolie gespannt und dann mit dem/den Noppenverschlüssen fest jedoch wieder lösbar verbunden werden kann.
In einer bevorzugten Verpackungsform weist die Deckelfolie die Aussparung(en) und die Verpackungsmulde die Noppe(n) auf.
Vorzugsweise kann die erfindungsgemäße Kunststoffverpackung zusätzliche Mittel zur Wiederverschließung der Verpackung aufweisen. Solche Mittel sind vorzugsweise ein Reißverschluß, wie z.B. in der EP 0 621 197 A1 offenbart, eine Dichtlippe, ein Schnappverschluß, wie in der EP 0 427 512 offenbart oder ein Klettverschluß wie in der Parallelanmeldung mit dem internen Aktenzeichen CH 8006 offenbart ist.
Vorzugsweise werden in der erfindungsgemäßen Verpackung Lebensmittel, vorzugsweise feste, besonders bevorzugt frische oder gekochte Fleisch- oder Wurstwaren, verpackt.
Die erfindungsgemäße Kunststoffverpackung wird nach dem Verfahren gemäss Anpruch 9 hergestellt. Die Herstellung der Noppe erfolgt vorzugsweise mit einem Stempel oder mit Druckluft, mit dem/der das zu verformende Material durch die Aussparung gedrückt wird.
Beansprucht wird deshalb auch dieses erfindungsgemäße Verfahren. Mit der erfindungsgemäßen Kunststoffverpackung ist es möglich, eine einmal geöffnete Verpackung haltbar, jedoch wieder lösbar zu verschließen. Das Verschließen bzw. Öffnen ist für den Benutzer leicht durchführbar. Die Kunststoffverpackung ist einfach und kostengünstig herzustellen.
Im Folgenden wird die Erfindung anhand Figur 1 erläutert. Die Erläuterungen sind lediglich beispielhaft und schränken den allgemeinen Erfindungsgedanken nicht ein.

In diesem Siegelbereich 4 ist die Deckelfolie 3 an die Verpackungsmulde 2 gesiegelt, wobei die Deckelfolie in dem schwach gepunkteten Abschnitt des Siegelbereiches 4 peelbar an die Verpackungsmulde gesiegelt ist, während sie in dem stark gepunkteten Abschnitt des Siegelbereiches 4 fest an die Verpackungsmulde gesiegelt ist. Bei Öffnen wird die Deckelfolie nur an drei Seiten von der Verpackungsmulde abgezogen und bleibt im Abschnitt der festen Siegelung mit dieser verbunden. Die Deckelfolie, eine halbsteife Polyethylenterephtalat/EVOH/Polyethylen-Polybutylen-Folie, weist zwei näherungsweise zylinderförmige Noppen auf, die eine Länge von 4 mm und einen Durchmesser von 7 mm haben. Die Noppen 5 sind durch Thermoverformung mit einem Stempel in die Deckelfolie geprägt worden. Die Verpackungsmulde 2 weist zwei näherungsweise kreisförmige Aussparungen 6 auf, die den Noppen 5 gegenüberliegend angeordnet sind und einen Durchmesser von 7 mm haben.
    Der Fachmann erkennt, daß die Noppen 5 bzw. Aussparungen 6 auch an anderen Stellen der Kunststoffverpackung angeordnet und/oder neben den dargestellten zwei noch weitere Noppen/Aussparungen vorhanden sein können.
    Der Fachmann erkennt ferner, daß neben den Noppen noch weitere Wiederverschließungsmittel an der Verpackungsmulde bzw. der Deckelfolie angeordnet sein können.
    Nach dem Öffnen der Deckelfolie wird die Verpackung wieder verschlossen, indem die Noppen 5 in die Aussparungen 6 gedrückt werden und dort verbleiben, bis die Deckelfolie wieder abgezogen und die Noppen damit aus den Aussparungen gezogen werden.
    Selbstverständlich ist es auch möglich, daß der ganze Siegelbereich zwischen Deckelfolie und Verpackungsmulde peelbar ausgestaltet ist. Dann dienen die Noppe(n) bzw. Aussparungen nicht nur als Verschlußelement(e), sondern auch zum Justieren der Deckelfolie auf der Verpackungsmulde beim Wiederverschließen.
    In Figur 2 ist die Kunststoffverpackung 1 gemäß Figur 1 dargestellt, die Noppen 5 in der Verpackungsmulde 4 und die Aussparung 6 in der Deckelfolie 3, jeweils außerhalb des Siegelbereiches sich befinden.

    Claims (10)

    1. Wiederverschließbare Kunststoffverpackung (1) aus einer Verpackungsmulde (2) und einer Deckelfolie (3), wobei die Deckelfolie (3) im Siegelbereich (4) mindestens teilweise peelbar an die Verpackungsmulde gesiegelt ist, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß als Verschlußelemente die Deckelfolie (3) oder die Verpackungsmulde (2) mindestens eine Noppe (5) und die Verpackungsmulde (2) oder die Deckelfolie (3) komplementär dazu mindestens eine Aussparung (6) aufweist, durch die die Noppe(n) beim Wiederverschließen der Kunststoffverpackung nach dem Öffnen gesteckt wird bzw. werden.
    2. Wiederverschließbare Kunststoffverpackung (1) gemäß Anspruch 1, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß die Noppe(n) (5) und die Aussparung(en) (6) näher zum Rand der Kunststoffverpackung (1) angeordnet ist/sind als der Siegelbereich (4).
    3. Wiederverschließbare Kunststoffverpackung (1) gemäß Anspruch 1 oder 2, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß die Form der Noppe(n) (5) näherungsweise zylindrisch und die Aussparung(en) (6) näherungsweise kreisförmig ist bzw. sind.
    4. Wiederverschließbare Kunststoffverpackung (1) gemäß einem der Ansprüche 1 bis 3, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß der Durchmesser der Noppe (5) ≥ dem Durchmesser der Aussparung (6) ist.
    5. Wiederverschließbare Kunststoffverpackung (1) gemäß einem der Ansprüche 1 bis 3, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß die Deckelfolie (3) aus einer thermoformbaren Folie aus Polyethylenterephthalat oder Polypropylen ggf. mit einer Ethylenvinylalkoholcopolymersperrschicht und Polyethylen aufgebaut ist und die Verpackungsmulde (2) aus einer geschäumten Polyolefin-Folie, vorzugsweise einer geschäumten Polypropylen-Folie, als Basisschicht mit ggf. einer Gassperrschicht und einer peelbaren Siegelschicht aufgebaut ist.
    6. Wiederverschließbare Kunststoffverpackung (1) gemäß einem der Ansprüche 1 bis 5, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß der Siegelbereich (4) vollständig peelbar ist.
    7. Wiederverschließbare Kunststoffverpackung (1) gemäß einem der Ansprüche 1 bis 5, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß eine Seite bzw. 5 - 25 % des Siegelbereichs (4) fest gesiegelt ist.
    8. Wiederverschließbare Kunststoffverpackung (1) gemäß Anspruch 7, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß sich die Noppe(n) (5) und entsprechende(n) Aussparung(en) (6) außerhalb des festen Siegelbereiches befindet bzw. befinden.
    9. Verfahren zur Herstellung einer Kunststoffverpackung (1) gemäß einem der Ansprüche 1 bis 8, wobei
      1. die Verpackungsmulde (2) durch Thermoverformen aus einer Folie hergestellt, entweder
      2. mindestens eine Aussparung (6) in der Verpackungsmulde angebracht, vorzugsweise gestanzt,
      3. die Verpackungsmulde (2) gegebenenfalls befüllt,
      4. eine Deckelfolie (3) an die Verpackungsmulde gesiegelt und
      5. die komplementäre Noppe (5) durch Thermoverformung der Deckelfolie hergestellt wird,
      oder
      2a. mindestens eine Noppe (5) in dem Randbereich der gemäß 1. gebildeten Verpackungsmulde (2) geformt und
      3a. die Verpackungsmulde (2) gegebenenfalls befüllt,
      4a. eine Deckelfolie (3) an die Verpackungsmulde (2) gesiegelt und
      5a. in die Deckefolie (3) mindestens eine komplementäre Aussparung (6) aufgebracht wird,
      dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß die Verfahrensschritte 1 und 2 bzw. 4 und 5 oder 1 und 2a bzw. 4a und 5a gleichzeitig durchgeführt werden.
    10. Verfahren gemäß Anspruch 9, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß die Herstellung der Noppe (5) mit einem Stempel oder mit Druckluft erfolgt
