Description

Die Erfindung bezieht sich auf ein Verfahren zum Handhaben von Standboden-Beuteln der im Oberbegriff von Anspruch 1 erläuterten Art.
Ein derartiges Verfahren ist aus der DE 197 45 852 A1 oder der DE 197 45 854 C1 bekannt.
Standboden-Beutel sind Beutel, die meist aus einer Kunststoff- oder Aluminiumfolie bestehen und so ausgebildet sind, dass sie einen Standboden ausbilden, auf dem der fertige, befüllte Beutel stehen kann. Die Beutel werden so vorgefertigt, dass die dem Standboden gegenüberliegende Randkante offen bleibt, so dass der Beutel von dieser Seite her befüllt werden kann. Die Beutel werden aufrecht in Aufnahmeeinrichtungen, hängend oder stehend, einer Befülleinrichtung zugeführt, dort gefüllt und immer noch in aufrechter Stellung verschlossen, indem bevorzugt eine Verschweißeinrichtung an den beiden offenen Randkanten angreift, die sie zusammendrückt und mit Wärme und Druck verschweißt. Da Standbeutel stehen können, und da bereits Aufnahmevorrichtungen zum Befüllen vorgesehen werden müssen, hat man diese Standboden-Beutel bisher immer stehend weitertransportiert. Man war der Meinung, dass die Standboden-Beutel stehend den geringsten Platz beanspruchen und demzufolge die höchste Fördergeschwindigkeit, d.h. den höchsten Beuteldurchsatz gestatten.
Bei der Entwicklung des erfindungsgemäßen Verfahrens wurde jedoch festgestellt, dass dies nicht zutrifft.
Der Erfindung liegt somit die Aufgabe zugrunde, ein Verfahren bereitzustellen, mit dem die Fördergeschwindigkeit beim Handhaben von Standboden-Beuteln erhöht werden kann.
Die Aufgabe wird durch die im Anspruch 1 angegebenen Merkmale gelöst.
Es hat sich überraschenderweise herausgestellt, dass die Standboden-Beutel liegend wesentlich effektiver transportiert werden können, obwohl eigentlich zu erwarten gewesen wäre, dass liegende Beutel durch ihre kissenartige, ausgebeulte Form instabil sind und demzufolge eine geringere Fördergeschwindigkeit erfordern. Erfindungsgemäß wurde jedoch festgestellt, dass dies nicht der Fall ist, und dass, im Gegenteil, eine liegende Förderung für Standboden-Beutel eine merkliche Erhöhung der Fördergeschwindigkeit gestattet.
Zwar ist es aus der EP 676 329, der US 4 614 079, der US 4 903 458 oder der US 5 123 231 bereits bekannt, Verpackungen mit ihrer Längserstreckung parallel zur Förderfläche zu transportieren, dies betrifft jedoch nur quaderförmige Verpackungen, bei denen die Verpackungen somit trotzdem auf einem "Standboden" ruhen, bzw. nicht standfähige kissenförmige Verpackungen ohne Standboden und mit symmetrischer Dicke.
Vorteilhafte Weiterbildungen der Erfindung sind den Unteransprüchen zu entnehmen.
Das erfindungsgemäße Verfahren wird nachfolgend anhand der Zeichnungen näher erläutert. Es zeigen:

Fig. 1 zeigt eine Draufsicht auf eine stark schematisierte Verfahrenslinie 1 zum Handhaben von Standboden-Beuteln 2, wobei die Standboden-Beutel 2 mit einem Trinkhalm 3 versehen und zu mehreren in eine Umverpackung 4 verpackt werden.
Im einzelnen enthält die Verfahrenslinie 1 eine Befüllstation 5 der bereits vorgefertigte Beutel aus einer Kunststoff- oder Aluminiumfolie mit einem Standboden 2a und mit bis auf eine Einfüllöffnung 2b allseitig verschlossene Seiten zugeführt werden. In der Füllstation 5 wird in die Beutel 2 ein Getränk, bevorzugt heiß, eingefüllt. Zu diesem Zweck werden die Beutel 2 in der in Fig. 1A gezeigten Stellung, d.h. mit durch Klammern oder Sauger oder dgl. maximal gespreizter Füllöffnung 2b an Klammem hängend oder in einer Aufnahmeeinrichtung stehend gefördert. Ist das Getränk eingefüllt, gelangt der Beutel 2 in eine Schließstation 6, in der die Befüllöffnung 2b durch Verbinden der die Öffnung 2b begrenzenden Folienränder mit Hilfe von Siegelstäben oder Klammern, bevorzugt heiß versiegelt wird, so dass sich die in Fig. 1B gezeigte Siegellinie 2c ausbildet. Anschließend wird der Beutel 2 einer Kühlstrecke 7, bevorzugt einem Wasserbad, zum Abkühlen des heiß eingefüllten Getränkes zugeführt. Im dargestellten Ausführungsbeispiel durchläuft der Beutel 2 die Kühlstrecke 7 immer noch aufrechthängend bzw. stehend. Nach dem Verlassen der Kühlstrecke 7 wird der Beutel 2 durch geeignete Greifer oder dgl. in die in Fig. 1C gezeigte, liegende Position verbracht, in der sie auf einer ihrer kissenartig gekrümmten Seitenflächen liegen und kontinuierlich weitergefördert. Dabei wird die Ausrichtung des Beutels 2 zur durch die Pfeile fortlaufend dargestellten Förderrichtung verändert, so dass nunmehr, wie an einer Übergabestelle 8 ersichtlich, die Längserstreckung des Beutels 2 quer zur Förderrichtung ausgerichtet ist, wobei die Beutel 2 mit ihren Standböden 2a alle in die gleiche Richtung weisen und parallel zur nunmehrigen Förderrichtung ausgerichtet sind. In dieser Position durchlaufen die Beutel 2 eine Anbringstation 9 zum Anbringen der Trinkhalme 3 auf der nach oben weisenden Seitenfläche jedes Beutels 2.
In Förderrichtung anschließend an die Anbringstation 9 durchlaufen die Beutel eine weitere Übergabestelle 10, in der die bisher einzige Reihe der Beutel in zwei parallele Reihen aufgeteilt wird, wobei jedoch die Ausrichtung der Beutel nicht verändert wird. Anschließend werden die Beutel in eine Verpackungsstation gefördert, um sie in die Umverpackung 4 zu verpacken. Die Umverpackung 4 enthält zwei Abteile 4a und 4b, die über einen Knickfalz 4c miteinander verbunden sind.
Die Verpackungsstation enthält zwei Teilstationen 11 a und 11 b, wobei in der Teilstation 11 a die Beutel 2 in das Abteil 4a der Umverpackung 4 und in der Teilstation 11 b die Beutel 2 in das Abteil 4b der Umverpackung 4 verpackt werden. Zunächst gelangt die Verpackung 4 in die erste Teilstation 11 a, in der die Beutel 2 unter Schwerkrafteinfluss in das Abteil 4a gefördert werden, bis dieses mit der vorbestimmten Anzahl an Beuteln gefüllt ist. Die Standböden 2a der Beutel sind dem Knickfalz 4c zugewandt.
Ist das Abteil 4a gefüllt, wird die Verpackung 4 um eine senkrechte Achse um 180° gedreht und der zweiten Teilstation 11b zugeführt, in der in gleicher Weise die Beutel 2 in das Abteil 4b eingebracht werden. Durch das Drehen der Verpackung sind die Beutel 2 in beiden Abteilen mit ihren Standböden 2a dem Knickfalz 4c zugewandt und weisen mit den gleichen Seiten nach außen, so dass dann, wenn die Umverpackung 4 eine Klappstation 12 durchlaufen hat, in der die Abteile um den Knickfalz 4c aufeinandergeklappt werden und die Umverpackung geschlossen wird, übereinstimmende Oberflächenbereiche der Beutel, beispielsweise mit gedruckten Informationen über ihren Inhalt, nach außen weisen und durch Fenster oder Ausnehmungen in der Umverpackung 4 sichtbar sind.
In Abwandlung des beschriebenen und gezeichneten Ausführungsbeispieles kann beispielsweise der verschlossene Beutel bereits die Kühlstrecke liegend durchlaufen. Für die Förderung können Förderbänder oder andere zum geeignete Fördereinrichtungen verwendet werden. Die Beutel können in anderer Weise als dargestellt und/oder in andere Umverpackungen und/oder aus einer einzigen Reihe heraus verpackt werden.

Claims (8)

  1. Verfahren zum Handhaben von Standboden-Beuteln (2) für Getränke, die gefüllt, verschlossen, mit einem Trinkhalm (3) versehen und, zu mehreren in eine Umverpackung (4) eingebracht, ausgegeben werden, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass die Standboden-Beutel (2) zwischen dem Verschließen und dem Einbringen in die Umverpackung liegend transportiert werden.
  2. Verfahren nach Anspruch 1, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass die Beutel (2) nach dem Verschließen gekühlt und im Anschluss daran in eine liegende Position überführt werden.
  3. Verfahren nach Anspruch 1 oder 2, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass der Trinkhalm (3) vor dem Einbringen in die Umverpackung (4) auf die liegenden Beutel (2) aufgebracht wird.
  4. Verfahren nach einem der Ansprüche 1 bis 3, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass die Beutel (2) aus einer liegenden Förderposition liegend in die Umverpackung (4) eingebracht werden.
  5. Verfahren nach einem der Ansprüche 1 bis 4, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass die Beutel (2) liegend quer zu ihrer Längserstreckung gefördert werden.
  6. Verfahren nach einem der Ansprüche 1 bis 5, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass die Beutel (2) liegend bis zum Verpacken mit einer gleichbleibenden und für alle Beutel (2) gleichen Ausrichtung gefördert werden.
  7. Verfahren nach einem der Ansprüche 1 bis 6, wobei ein aus einer Folie gefertigter, umfangsseitig geschlossener und mit einem Standboden (2a) versehener Beutel (2) in aufrechter Position über eine dem Standboden (2a) gegenüberliegende, durch Folienränder begrenzte Öffnung (2b) befüllt und der Beutel (2) in aufrechter Position durch Verschweißen der die Öffnung (2b) begrenzenden Folienränder verschlossen wird, so dass sich ein Standboden-Beutel (2) mit kissenartig gekrümmten, ausgebeulten Seitenflächen bildet, die Beutel (2) mit einem Trinkhalm (3) versehen und, zu mehreren in eine Umverpackung (4) eingebracht, ausgegeben werden, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass die Standboden-Beutel (2) nach dem Verschließen und vor dem Anbringen des Trinkhalms (3) in eine liegende Position überführt werden, in der sie quer zu ihrer Längserstreckung mit zur gleichen Seite weisenden Standböden (2a) durch eine Anbringstation (9) für den Trinkhalm (3) bis zum Einbringen in die Umverpackung (4) transportiert und aus der liegenden Förderposition liegend in die Umverpackung (4) eingebracht werden.
  8. Verfahren nach einem der Ansprüche 1 bis 7, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass das Befüllen, das Verschließen, das Überführen in eine liegende Förderposition, das Aufbringen des Trinkhalms (3) und das Einbringen in eine Umverpackung (4) in einer kontinuierlichen Verfahrenslinie (1) durchgeführt wird.
