Definitions
- the invention relates to a closure, in particular one Closure device for a clamping ring closure, which mostly consists of a tire exists, which is divided at one point and is under such a bias that the two emerging ends are spaced from each other in the idle state.
- the divided tire is then closed by a closure so that the two Ends are brought closer together, thereby reducing its diameter and is therefore suitable to push the lid and the bucket-shaped container together to connect a tension pressure.
- the clamping pressure is profiled by the U-shape Clamping ring applied to the lid and a container border to a to compress between the intended sealing layer.
- a mechanical closing device as described for example in DE-A 199 04 780 , is suitable for mechanically closing clamping rings.
- tamper-evident securing of such clamping rings has not yet been possible by machine.
- Other types of mechanically lockable clamping rings are accessible to those skilled in the art from DE-A 29 16 659 .
- notch 21 a piece of tab is described between a pull tab and the lever (there referred to as notch 21), which is intended to prevent an inadvertent engagement of a securing tab when the lever is closed, but is mechanically deformed when finally closed so that it no longer has a blocking effect .
- DE-A 29 08 602 Another design according to DE-A 29 08 602 describes a safety lock with a bendable tab piece (there called a locking tab 15), which is arranged in the back of the lever and engages through the back of the pull tab when closing, in order to be able to then reshape it. Then it is bent down to provide the securing between the two locking parts of the lock.
- a still alternative design in DE-U 90 12 273 is the subsequent introduction of a laterally inserted plastic pin (there designated locking pin 20), with which a locking effect can be achieved.
- a locking device for one Clamping ring closure in which a piece of tab is bendable in a pull tab is arranged that a downward movable pin after closing the Clamping ring in the capping machine a mechanically locking coupling between a handle lever of the lock and said pull tab can. Opening the lever leads to the fact that after bending the tab piece this is sheared off and an opening of the lever is displayed to the user (Claim 1, Claim 15, Claim 20).
- the task is also solved in that the weakened web that connects forms a pre-deformation between the pull tab and the tab piece, Before the clamping ring is closed, actuate the handle lever after contact the container border with the lid (claim 15).
- the tab piece is also arranged bendable in one of the two flanks of the pull tab, only the bend does not become after closing (reducing the diameter of the clamping ring), but previously made. After the tab piece here too then comes to rest over the receiving opening in the closed state is placed between the two joints, simply snap on the handle, around the tab piece with its pre-deformation at least partially in the To place the receiving opening.
- the web is oriented so that it pointing towards the opening, based on the path of the tab piece at Closing (claim 10). This allows the web to ensure that it is used as a Sliding surface serves, the tab piece separated outside the web area without to push a reshaping over the handle lever section and with the to lock the opposite free edge in the receiving opening (claim 16).
- the tab piece is preferably already parallel from the plane of the flank moved out (claim 8), so that the free edge forms when closing but is not yet in action. Only when you open the free edge with the edge of the Interact with the opening to further bend the tab piece into the handle lever and for subsequent shearing.
- the closure device of claim 1 can be in one or multi-member clamping rings are used, the multi-membered on the Lock relates to that on the split clamping ring at its two free ends is to be attached to get the entire clamping ring closure (claim 15). Claim 20 is also to be understood.
- a split clamping ring at its division point in opened state has a distance that by closing said Lock is reduced as a closure device or to overlap the Clamping ring can lead. If there is an overlap, one of the Clamping rings can be extended to lie one above the other in the area of Allow closure. The movement of lying on top of each other when closing the closure is a combination of extensive approach and a radial approach to overlap if provided.
- the proposed arrangement of the tab piece, preferably elongated or oval (claim 2) and with a web that is weaker, in particular narrower (Claim 3), as the width of the tab piece, allows easy closing. It can be done by a simple downward movement of a pin in one mechanical closing device after the mechanical closing of the Spannrings - the tamper-evident device (also called "sealing") in the Closing device can be provided integrated.
- the web can be specially processed, for example weakened, notched or particularly narrow to prevent the flap from being bent back again Security can bypass (claim 4, claim 5).
- the length of the tab piece should be shorter than that Distance between the two legs of the pull tab to form the To enable tab piece in a substantially 90 ° angle (claim 6).
- a pre-deformation can also take place (claim 8, claim 10) an additional step when moving the pin of the machine No need to make the locking device.
- the shape of the tab piece preferably matches the shape of the Receiving opening is adapted, but at least the tab piece of its Form forth not be larger than the inner edge of the receiving opening (claim 9).
- the pre-deformation was addressed via the web area, which is considered a gentle one Transition during the closing process the sliding over of the pre-deformed Allows tab piece over the handle lever section between the two joints, while maintaining an ongoing deformation, until the Tab piece with its free edge behind one of the edge lines (edges) of the Receiving opening (claim 10).
- the orientation of the web area in such a Preliminary deformation is located so that the smooth transition first closes when closing the handle lever portion between the joints comes into contact before the rest Section of the tab piece touches it with slight elastic yielding.
- Pre-shaped tab piece a preferably circular shape (claim 11), wherein the diameter of the receiving opening is preferably more than half the height of the Pull tab is. In other words, the diameter is appropriate large so that the tab piece can snap into place.
- the mechanical design of the closing process is advantageously supplemented by the automatable introduction of a tamper-evident system.
- a stop surface around the clamping ring in the closed state Angular dimension rotated so that the front of the pin at least in the downward stroke Attacks the area above the exception opening on the tab piece.
- the opening is below the tab piece in the lever between the two joints arranged there appropriate. Then it can be ensured that a conical in particular trained tip of an embossing pin as a centering itself in the rest and enables the mechanical insertion of the fuse (claim 7).
- the elongated design of a tongue as a tab piece allows the invention greater degree of tolerance in the relative position of the tab piece and Receiving opening opposite the downward actuating pin after the automated closing of the clamping ring can not always ensure that there is no extensive fluctuation in these positions.
- an elastic bias is applied. This is based on the opposite side of the opening applied (claim 18).
- These provided two flanks of lever and pull tab are preferred in the Flank of the inside lever is supplemented by a bump that points or line-shaped pressure contract to the adjacent flank, in particular the Above flank of the pull tab is able to apply when the closure is closed.
- the frictional forces are due to the small area training the elevation is low, so that the closure process is not made significantly more difficult access, but a clear backup.
- this mechanically applied lateral pre-tension ensures also the locking position of the free edge of the bent-in tab piece opposite the blocking edge of the opening.
- the force is applied in that the formation is a distance of one Back of the pull tab or the lever has, so that a deflection in the sense of a Inward deformation of the inner flank or in the sense of an outward deformation of the outer flank leads to a bending moment, which is converted into the lateral force.
- lever and Tab piece in this area are not necessarily U-shaped, at least but have side flanks that are adjacent.
- the pair of edges is on one side for the Locking and thus the lead seal responsible, while the other flank pair is responsible for applying a lateral force to improve the locking, both on the way to locking (avoiding mechanical Deformation of the preformed tab), as well as improving the actual locking engagement.
- the locking engagement itself was on one pair of flanks above explained in detail.
- the preload is generated by a lateral one Spacing the second pair of edges, which moves relatively apart is and is thus slightly elastically deformed, the described lateral force the other side of the flank pair is directed.
- the relative, caused at least in some areas, caused by the force Shifting lever and pull tab is due to the inner play of the connections admitted so that no separate mobility beyond the normal level of Manufacturing tolerances must also be provided.
- a clamping ring section 11 is shown schematically with one end (as a profile piece), the other section 10 of the clamping ring can also be seen in FIG. 1.
- the two ends of these clamping ring sections lie close to one another or one above the other, which is imaginable in that a lever 21 of U-shaped cross section is moved with its free end 21a in the direction "s" onto the lower clamping ring section 10 and a pull tab 20 the upper end 11 brings the lower end closer, as illustrated in FIG. 2 . If there is an overlap of the free ends of the split clamping ring, one of these ends is widened to come to lie over the other end when the closing movement has ended.
- one or the other end, preferably the end 10, on which the joint of the lever 21 is arranged, can be made longer than illustrated, whereas the other end, which is connected to the pull tab at 11a, is widened to about the free but longer end 10 to come to lie in the closed state.
- the pull tab 20 has a flat design with a towards the clamping ring 11 Back section 20c, which is welding 11a to the back of the U-shaped profiled - split - clamping ring enables.
- the pull tab is towards lever 21 U-shaped, so that it has two sections 20a, 20b on both sides of the also U-shaped lever can grip this laterally to a Making joint formation 22 possible by an inserted bearing pin.
- On another joint 12 is at the other end of the lever 21 to the other Clamping ring section 10 is provided. There is still one between the two joints 12 and 22 provided receiving opening 29a to be described.
- the pull tab is designed in its flank section so that there is a punched-out tongue 29, which as a tab piece via a web 28 with the (Front) flank 20a of the pull tab is connected.
- a cutting or punching line, in particular with a free space 31, is provided between the tongue 29 and the remaining area of the flank 20a, which enables the tongue 29 to be bent.
- the free space 31 can also be made very narrow, so that the inner end of the opening edge 30 which results after the tongue 29 has been punched out is only slightly larger than the outer shape of the tongue 29.
- Other shapes of the tongue 29 are shown on the identical pull tab 20 in FIG. 6 , as are other layers (or orientations) of the web area 28.
- a rectangular shape 29 'for the tongue is possible with one arrangement of the web 28 'close to the free end 20a' of the flank 20a of the pull tab.
- the pull tab is shown with a web 28 ′′ pivoted by 90 ° in its orientation, with an elongated oval design of the tongue 29 ′′ in the same flank 20a of the pull tab 20.
- the third illustration in FIG. 6 illustrates a triangle -shaped design of the tongue as a tab piece 29 * with a web 28 * which lies within one of the sides of the triangle and is oriented as well as in the first image in FIG. 6. All other shapes and geometries can also be realized, in particular mixed forms of the ones shown Layers and designs.
- the clamping ring is essentially made of metal.
- Figure 2 shows the possibility of forming a Tamper-evident if the tongue 29 lies over the receiving opening 29a is coming.
- the clamping ring is closed by the two joints 12, 22 Condition has been transferred and the ends of the clamping ring sections 11,10 each other approximated.
- the closing process can be achieved by a downwardly moving embossing pin 50, which is moved downwards in a mechanical and automated closing station after the clamping ring lock has been closed - the lever 21 has been actuated - like the direction of movement b "in FIG. 3. There, by the movement of the pin 50, the tab 29 is molded into the U-shaped section of the pull tab and thereby engages through an opening 29a in the U-shaped configuration of the lever between the two joints 12, 22. A mechanical locking takes place, which can be automated by a simple downward movement of the embossing pin 50.
- the kinking of the web 28 secures the closed closure against undetected opening. Opening the closure 21 leads to the shearing off of the Tongue 29 on the weakened web 28. A further bending back of the tongue 29 leads in the case of the described formation of the web also to break off at the weakened bridge 28. The closure is secured against undetected opening, and this backup can be automated.
- the pin 50 rounds off or at least partially conical front portion 50a that is not quite pointed must run towards, but can be designed in the manner of a truncated cone. Thereby the pin 50 centers itself in its downward movement "b" with respect to the Receiving opening 29a and after gripping the tongue 29 to push through said opening 29a.
- An additional circumferential orientation can be done by a stop 80 in the direction a ".
- the circumferential orientation takes place in the closed state of the clamping ring and leads to a slight compensation of possible extensive displacements when the clamping ring on the lever 21 is closed automatically.
- the stroke b of the embossing pin 50 is set so that the connection between the Pull tab and the locking lever is so pronounced that when opening the Tension rings tears off the metal tab. This does not necessarily have to be a 90 ° bend the tongue 29, this can also be a smaller angle, albeit a larger one Angle allows better protection against manipulation.
- the weakened web as a connecting section between the flank 20a and the tab piece 29 as a tongue allows it to be bent inwards, in the direction of the described receiving opening 29a, which is arranged between the two joints so that the tab piece 29 essentially in the closed state of the handle lever 21 comes to lie above this opening, as is also shown in several representations of FIG. 5 and in the side view of FIG .
- the inward bend here is a pre-deformation in the sense of an inward double curvature according to FIG. 4b , so that a subsequent reshaping of the tab piece after the closing process no longer has to be carried out with an embossing pin 50 according to FIG. 3.
- the automation of the closing movement occurs solely in that the lever 21 is closed mechanically - or also by hand.
- the pre-deformed tab piece 29 as the tongue according to FIGS. 4, 4a and 4b does not undergo any (substantial) deformation and projects with its free edge 29k into the opening 29a after the closing process.
- FIG. 4 is a side view of a detail from FIG. 1, wherein it does not have to be said explicitly that the same reference numerals go without saying designate the same objects.
- the pull tab 20 has a forward-facing flank 20a, which is connected via a joint 22 the lever 21 is connected.
- the second joint 12 is at a distance from it Provided lever 21 and connects it to one end of the clamping ring 10th
- a substantially circular tongue 29 is shown between the two joints, which has a web 28 in the direction of the free edge 20a '.
- the two cuts I and II are shown in Figures 4a and 4b.
- the sectional view of Figure 4a shows the weakened web 28 which is narrower than the diameter of the circular Tongue 29.
- the other section I shows this web area 28 with a double Curvature to the tongue 29 substantially parallel from the plane of the flank 20a to outsource.
- a free space 31 is designed so narrow here that it is practically negligible, with the inner end of the after Free punching or simply separating the tongue 29 in sections Opening edge 30 is practically equal to the outer dimension of the tongue 29.
- Such a pre-deformation of the tongue 29 operates according to FIG. 5 when the tensioning ring is closed in a direction according to "s" from FIG. 1, the movement “c” being shown here, which pull tab 20 relative to the intermediate section of lever 21 between the two joints 12.22 experiences.
- This intermediate area of the lever is U-shaped and has a back 21c, which can be seen in FIG. 1.
- the pre-shaped tab piece 29 slides past this back, the opposite edge 29k either not touching the lever 21 in this area or only touching it last, but not latching when closing before reaching the opening 29a.
- the transition state is shown in the middle picture, while the locked state is shown in the right picture in FIG. 5, with a
- the locking movement according to FIG. 5 depends on the design of the clamping ring and its predetermined distances and distance tolerances of the two flanks 20a and the flank in which the opening 29a is for the exact course of the On. If there is a larger distance, there will be no contact with the Tongue 29 on the lever 21 instead, but only one that begins shortly before the end Snap the free edge 29k behind the opening edge 29a '. Between these In borderline cases, all movements are possible, depending on the specific design of the Tension ring.
- an elongated receiving opening 29a it is elongated trained tongue 29 is a greater scope for extensive deviations given.
- the tongue 29 does not necessarily have to have the same geometric shape as the receiving opening 29a, it is sufficient that the width of the tongue 29th should be less than the width of the opening.
- the web 28 can also with respect to its Width correspond to that of the tongue 29 if it is additionally in any way is weakened by notches, squeezing or a smaller sheet thickness. A simple weakening of this victory 28 is the narrow training compared to Tongue what in the course of manufacturing the pull tab by a simple punching can be made possible.
- the length of the tongue 29 is less than the distance between the flanks 20a, 20b of the U section of the pull tab 20, preferably about half as long as the inner distance the flanks of the U-shape of the lever 21.
- FIG. 5 illustrates each U-shaped designs of lever and pull tab, which are essentially come to rest on top of each other in the closed state. Then there is one Flank pair close together. One pair of edges ensures the locking with the Opening and the protruding shaped tab 29. The other pair of flanks ensures a lateral preload, which is applied elastically by a bending moment either by deflecting one, the other or both flanks is achieved. Shown in FIG. 5 is tensioning of the inner flank of the handle lever in FIG Direction k.
- the formation of the bending moment arises from the distance r of the formation 40 from the back 21c or 20c of the two closure elements 20, 21.
- the formation 40 is preferably a punctiform point of the grain which extends from the inside to the inside protrudes on the outside and lies against the inside surface at the beginning of the closing. she is formed in terms of their distance from the back 21c or 20c so that they in is substantially opposite the opening 29a and in a circumferential position as well is arranged.
- the snap-in aid created in this way and the Locking lock also referred to as a resilient determination, in which the Pull tab is resiliently formed by the U-shape and the bulge 40 on the Opposite side presses the tab piece 29 firmly into the recess 29a and the Locking position resiliently holds.
- the shape 40 can be designed in any way both on the handle lever and on the pull tab. But one is preferred Design in which the position is opposite the opening and if the opening is in the lever is arranged, the formation 40 is also in the lever in the opposite flank be molded. Grips the pull tab over the lever, the formation 40 is directed outwards.
