Definitions
- the invention relates to a lamp with a lamp, with one associated with it Reflector for generating a light beam distributed around a main radiation direction and with a transparent lens arrangement for distributing a portion of the Lamp outgoing light.
- Downlights normally produce a very steep downward light distribution, the main radiation direction being substantially vertical.
- the lamp should also be very flat or have horizontally emerging light beams. But these light rays cause generally severe glare, which is undesirable.
- the lens arrangement several by Main radiation direction around, preferably annularly distributed lenses.
- the number of lenses should be greater than 30, preferably be even larger than 100.
- the light intensity therefore does not start from a point on the visible light exit surface, but from very many and very small ones spaced apart Light spots (preferably smaller than 2 x 2 mm) of the individual lenses. So that's it possible, even flat emerging light rays with a high vertical To have illuminance while avoiding glare. Man achieves ceiling and wall illumination even with downlights.
- Lenses distributed around the main radiation direction did not separate individual lenses are, but these lenses on a one-piece, preferably ring-shaped Lens body are formed.
- the lens effect can be ring-shaped Lens body come about by the fact that there are several on its inside has concave indentations, each of these indentations having its own Lens surface forms.
- annular lens body it is advantageous if not only an annular lens body is provided, but also the lenses are essentially distributed along the main radiation direction are.
- the lenses or Lens bodies can be arranged and dimensioned so that the lamp assigned (main) reflector using a large part of the lamp luminous flux of a convergent radiation principle according to the lighting task in a defined solid angle downwards, so that it is on Lens material passes freely through the interior of the annular lens body.
- the residual radiation from the lamp, no longer through this (main) reflector is caught, namely the so-called direct radiation component, meets the im preferred embodiment superimposed annular lens body, which break up and deflect the light by refraction in such a way that the desired light point decomposition is achieved with high vertical illuminance.
- the lamp shown in FIG. 1 is a so-called downlight, that is installed in a ceiling 11.
- the lamp has a lamp housing 1 a reflector 2 and a lamp 3.
- the reflector 2 generated as Reflecting radiation portion of the luminaire is a beam of light that is vertically oriented around the here main radiation direction 4 directed below is distributed (cf. also FIG. 4).
- a lens arrangement 5 which according to the invention has a plurality of lenses 6 distributed around the main radiation direction.
- These lenses are each formed on one-piece lens bodies 7, with the Embodiment 6 shown spaced one above the other Lens bodies are provided. This is particularly evident from FIGS. 1 and 2 evident.
- Each of these one-piece lens bodies for example made of glass or transparent plastic can exist around the main radiation direction 4 ring-shaped.
- the individual lenses 6 are formed in that the lens body on its, the Main radiation direction 4 facing inside several concave indentations 6a, each of these indentations having its own lens surface Dispersion lens forms (see. Fig. 3).
- the lens body 7 is cylindrical, whichever it is allows a glass cylinder 8 as dust protection to run around, this preferably glued dust-tight at the points 9 to the lowermost lens body 7 is.
- a horizontal glass plate 10 which also with the bottom ring is glued.
- the mechanical holding elements for the lens body are not shown in the figures.
- it can be thin Trade rods or ropes. But it can also be transparent holding elements be provided.
- the top surfaces 7a and base surfaces 7b of each lens body are each parts of a conical surface, the imaginary cone pointing upwards to the lamp-reflector combination 2, 3.
- overall a light distribution can be achieved, as is shown essentially in FIG. 4.
- the reflection radiation component reflected by the reflector 2 emerges from the lamp as an initially convergent and then divergent light radiation beam 12 (reflection radiation component), essentially unimpeded through the lens arrangement 5, i.e. simply between the ring-shaped lens bodies 7.
- a part of the direct radiation portion of the lamp 3, which does not fall on the reflector 2 reaches the lenses of the lens body and is deflected flatly outwards by them.
- a part of the beam path deflected in this way is designated by 13 in FIG. 4.
- What is essential here is the effect according to the invention of breaking down the lamp into individual light points through the many circumferentially distributed lenses 6, which make it possible to have flat light rays without having to put up with a glare effect.
- the invention is of course not limited to the exemplary embodiment shown, for example, the structure and number of lens bodies can vary. In particular, individual separate lenses are also possible. It is essential - how already mentioned - the light point decomposition effect of the many lenses, which allows flat horizontal rays without glare.

Abstract
