Abstract

Außenleuchte (10) zur Beleuchtung von Verkehrswegen, Gehwegen, Plätzen, Gebäuden, Außenanlagen und dergleichen entsprechend einem ausgewählten Beleuchtungsprofil, enthaltend ein zumindest teilweise lichtdurchlässiges Gehäuse (14, 16), und ein innerhalb des Gehäuses angeordnetes Leuchtmittel (20), ist dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass das Leuchtmittel (20) umfasst einen Träger (22); eine oder mehrere auf dem Träger angebrachte LED-Anordnungen (26), und ein Wärmeabführungssystem (22, 48, 50) zum Abführen der von den LED-Anordnungen erzeugten Wärme nach außen, wobei der Träger (22) derart ausgebildet ist, dass die LED-Anordnungen (26) in Richtungen entsprechend dem ausgewählten Beleuchtungsprofil abstrahlen. Das Leuchtmittel kann auch als Hochdrucklampenersatz dienen.
