Definitions
- the present invention relates to a device and a method for Smoothing screen printing stencils, especially round stencils.
- Screen printing stencils consist of nickel foil, which is so thin that it is in the Work process or due to carelessness of the operating personnel easily can be crumpled. However, creases disturb the uniform Sample order, which is why it is reused before Screen printing stencil must be eliminated.
- the inventive device solves this problem in that a Flameproof and dimensionally stable, preferably as a rotatable support roller trained support for the template and a nozzle unit for Spraying a jet of liquid onto the stencil under high pressure are provided, the template at least in the working area of the Nozzle unit rests on the support.
- the method according to the invention provides that one on a pressure-resistant and dimensionally stable overlay, stencil liquid under high pressure is sprayed on.
- the device according to the invention and the associated method go from Facilities designed to remove one for sampling purposes from the Applied on the outside of the screen printing stencil.
- this process known as "stripping", it is known to submerge water high pressure onto the screen printing stencil.
- a corresponding The device is shown for example in DE 42 24 511 A1.
- the platen roller by an inflatable Support tube formed, which is surrounded by a thin metal foil. This has as a result that the platen roller under the pressure of the impinging Liquid jet is deformed, which is why in the known device the existing creases during the "stripping" mostly additional creases are added.
- the support is made of pressure-resistant and dimensionally stable material out, you get a hard and unyielding abutment on which the applied stencil smoothed by the action of the liquid jet becomes.
- the design of the support as a support roller is particularly constructive advantageous.
- the smoothing effect occurs especially at pressures above 1000 bar, a pressure of about 2000 bar is preferably used.
- a support or support roller has a correspondingly hard abutment proven in stainless steel. But other hard materials, such as For example, a roller finished with hard chrome can be used.
- the device below the Support roller a free space for one freely below the support roller depending stencil section.
- the free space below of the platen roller it is possible to make the platen roller relatively small dimension so that even with the smallest circular template size only one Part of the template rests on the platen roller, whereas one is free depending on the stencil section below the platen roller. It can therefore be a uniform platen roller for all sizes of circular templates be used.
- the device according to the invention not only smoothes the Stencils achieved, but also a removal of the for sampling purposes applied paint, as is already known. In this context it is favorable if below the support roller for the freely hanging Template section a rinsing device is provided.
- the function of the Rinsing device is to remove detached paint particles from the free hanging To remove the template section.
- the width can be changed by means of additional elements.
- the support roller has stops forming areas has a slightly enlarged diameter. Form the two stops a lateral limitation for those pushed onto the support roller Stencil, causing the stencil to "wander down" to the side during the train the rotation of the platen roller is avoided.
- at least one of the Areas displaceable preferably designed as a displaceable sleeve.
- the support roller is clamped on one side or is stored.
- the flying arrangement of the platen roller enables the Round templates from the free side in the axial direction on the Slip on the platen roller.
- the device is the support roller 2. On this support roller 2, the cleaning templates 1, 1 'pushed on.
- the platen roller 2 is a tube trained and made of stainless steel, which makes them highly is pressure-resistant and dimensionally stable.
- the speed of rotation of the platen roller 2 is variable adjustable and is preferably in the range of about one revolution per Second.
- the platen roller 2 is arranged on the base frame 10, i.e. she is only clamped or stored on one side.
- bearing rollers 23 provided fourfold at a first location and at another location are provided twice.
- the flying arrangement of the platen roller 2 is insofar as the template to be cleaned 1, 1 'from the free end can be easily pushed onto the platen roller 2.
- the platen roller 2 has two areas 2a with slightly enlarged Diameter on. These areas form stops for the on-hook Template 1, 1 'and prevent sideways "wandering down” in the course of the Rotation movement of the platen roller 2.
- the area 2a at the free end of the Support roller 2 is also designed as a rounded bow, which means that Threading the template 1, 1 'on the platen roller 2 is facilitated.
- two different templates 1, 1 ' are drawn in differ in their scope and thus differ in their extent Hang the space below the support roller 2.
- the associated free depending stencil section is designated 1a, 1a '.
- the Diameter of the platen roller 2 is advantageously slightly smaller than that Diameter of the smallest stencil 1, 1 'to be cleaned, so that all Template sizes can be easily pushed onto the platen roller 2 can.
- the injection of liquid takes place by means of the nozzle unit 4, via the Water with or without additives is sprayed on under high pressure.
- the pressure is in the range from 1000 to 2500 bar, preferably at about 2000 bar is worked.
- the liquid is provided by a high pressure pump, not shown, which is connected to the feed pipe 41.
- the high pressure is so far essential than thereby the template 1, 1 'not only in a known manner cleaned, but is also smoothed at the same time. This happens in the Interaction with the hard support roller 2 made of stainless steel, on which the template 1, 1 'rests.
- the template 1, 1 ' is therefore not only of free of any stencil coating, but also has none More creases.
- the size of the platen roller also is cleaned so that there are no particles on the full system of the Interrupt the template on the platen roller.
- the support roller 2 When the liquid is sprayed on, the support roller 2 is rotated on the one hand, wherein the template 1, 1 'moves with the pressure of the liquid becomes.
- the nozzle unit 4 carries out a feed movement, for which a drive unit 44 is provided.
- the nozzle unit 4 is by means of Guide rods 42 and guide rollers 43 guided, the connection between the drive device 44 and the nozzle unit 4 via a Timing belt 46 takes place. This is deflected on a deflection roller 45.
- the feed is based on the rotational speed of the support roller 2 as well as the jet width, so that there is a closed surface results, which was processed by the water jet.
- the closed area is made up of slightly overlapping spiral strips.
- the jet of liquid strikes the support roller 2 essentially at the zenith, a slight inclination with respect to the vertical is possible.
- a rinsing device 5 is also provided.
- This Flushing device 5 is designed as a perforated tube through which the Liquid is sprayed on the inside of the template 1, 1 '.
- the Liquid preferably water, is collected in the collecting basin 51 and can be reused after passing through a fine filter system. On in this way the water consumption is kept low.
- Pressure roller 3 In order to securely position the template 1, 1 'on the platen roller 2, one is Pressure roller 3 is provided, which is only shown in Fig. 2.
- the Pressure roller 3 extends in the area between areas 2a enlarged diameter of the platen roller 2 and thus presses the template 1, 1 'over its entire width to the platen roller 2.
- the pressure roller 3 is held laterally by arms 31 which are pivotable about an axis 32.
- the pressure roller 3 is held in its end positions by springs 33.
- FIGS. 4a and 4b A special design of the pressure roller 3 is shown in FIGS. 4a and 4b.
- a variety of Additional elements 34 are provided, which are pushed onto the pressure roller 3 can be.
- the area 2a forming a lateral stop designed as a sliding sleeve.
- the principle according to the invention is also suitable for creating flat templates smooth. Notwithstanding the above embodiment, a must flat support can be used instead of the support roller.
