Definitions

  • the invention relates to a "plate-shaped holding eye” and a manufacturing method.
  • Known containers have on the outer wall of the fuselage outer "eyelets", which have a wide-protruding hood shape.
  • the wide-spreading hoods take up a bow-shaped or V-shaped end region of a bracket in order to be able to carry the container, cf. to DE-U 16 55 273 (Tinnerman) in FIGS. 1 and 2 there, US-A 2,176,711 (Gorman), there all figures and EP-A 516 605, there FIG. 3.
  • the problem of the invention is to reduce the height of the grommets, to approximate the container body closer to the cylinder or oval shape and not to complicate production of the container with a new holding piece for the bracket.
  • a flat, plate-shaped holding piece that is more than twice in diameter, in particular more than three times greater than its height offers the solution to the problem.
  • the plate-shaped holding piece has approximately centrally an opening which has an inwardly facing, circumferentially extending edge which is designed resiliently (claim 1). If the end of the handle is pressed transversely into the opening, the edge (the inner edge) gives way elastically and can snap back behind a so introduced into the holding plate thickening of the grip end and lock it.
  • a container equipped with these holding pieces also solves the above problem.
  • the end of the handle (bracket) extends according to the invention substantially perpendicular to the axis of the trunk. At its innermost end, it is in particular thickened knollig to latch in and out.
  • V-shaped and inwardly pre-bent (scalloped) clamping tongues according to DE-U 16 55 273 or DE-A 23 51 796 (Rapid) provides the elastic design of the unbent or curved inner edge of the opening according to the invention a compliance, the in Both directions are available.
  • the invention is different, which always ensures that in this direction no component of the lifting force, which is transmitted from the handle to the container with an approximately horizontally aligned engagement and disengagement of the end of the handle.
  • the handle can not slip out of the flat holding piece in the locked position by operational movement.
  • the thickness of the thickening and the diameter of the opening are coordinated so that the flexibility of the inner edge or -rand Schemes just enough to let the final thickening of the strap to happen. Thereafter, the bracket is locked, but can also be pulled out again transversely from the top wall of the holding piece.
  • the elasticity is achieved by at least two radially outwardly pointing, arranged in the top wall of the retaining piece slots. Segments are formed between the slots which are resilient and allow engagement of the handle end with the thickening, although the diameter of the opening in the retaining piece when unloaded is smaller than the diameter of the thickening.
  • a first recess is disposed in the container body, which at least partially receives the end of the handle bar, so its thickening.
  • the end region of the handle bar is engaged substantially transversely in the "ball eyelet opening", yielding the "eyelet blanket” (top wall) in the edge region of the receiving opening.
  • an end piece of the handle bracket extends practically horizontally, unlike a bow shape or V-buckling in the prior art, which can not and can not be partially received in a trough under the hood-shaped holding piece; this is their swing radius when pressing the bracket towards the upwardly pivoted position of use too large.
  • the attachment of the holding piece is achieved by welding the lower end area, actually only the lower end edge.
  • the holding piece carries circumferentially distributed Cams or projections which are mechanically fixedly attached to the container body during welding in the manner of Preßstumpfsch spaens.
  • the peripheral wall has been completely eliminated, wherein from the top wall in particular downwardly bent projections are welded directly to the container to cover the well provided there flat and absorb the transversely inserted and latched Endverdickung the handle practically completely in the trough.
  • the "hood-shaped eyelet” has become a plate.
  • the holding plate designed as merely a top wall is attached to the metal container at a distance from the top edge by means of feet (projections suitable for welding).
  • the projections are arranged either at the edge of the ceiling plate or in an annular intermediate region in the inner region of the top wall.
  • the intermediate region of the top wall may be formed annularly so that radially within this region, ie towards the opening, and radially outside this region, ie to the outer edge of the top wall, two further annular regions are provided.
  • the feet can be advantageously prepared by approximately T-shaped incisions and then be bent out to one direction of the top wall as triangular feet. If the feet are not arranged on the outer edge, but further inside the top wall, their stability increases and they become more torsionally rigid.
  • bent-out, in particular paired feet are pointed to support a welding in the manner of Preßstumpfsch Deviceens to a metallic container.
  • the circumferential distribution of the downwardly bent feet may depend on which holding forces must be absorbed. Usually, three to six pairs of feet are sufficient, which lie in the attached state to the container around the trough-shaped depression provided there for receiving the introduced perpendicular to the container axis end portion of the handle and are fixed there by welding.
  • the paired triangular projections arise perpendicularly oriented triangles, which point with its one corner as a tip down to facilitate the welding, but also with the plane formed by the triangle have an orientation with a radial driving beam, the From the center of the opening, make an angle greater than zero.
  • the paired triangular projections arise opposite the top wall inclined triangles facing with their outer, common corner as a tip down to facilitate the welding, but also to give the formed by the triangles creases an orientation with a radial driving beam emanating from the center of the opening, forming an angle greater than zero.
  • the pairs bent out triangles have a jointly downwardly projecting instep or ridge line, which encloses an angle greater than zero with respect to the travel beam and with respect to the plane of the top wall inclined out of her.
  • the outer end edge (the "edge") of the retaining piece at the outer end of the ridge line forms the welding point, because it is particularly suitable for welding. It is understood that in this case the annular region begins at the outer edge of the holding piece and extends radially inwardly, to end clearly in front of the segmentally elastic edge line of the opening for receiving the handle end.
  • the elastically formed opening in particular with the sections formed by cuts, elastically yielding segments, has a substantially circular circumference, adapted to the perpendicular to the container axis oriented extending handle end, which is thickened knobbly front.
  • This bulbous end is picked up by a hollow.
  • This trough is covered by the plate-shaped holding piece, to which the described triangular projections are welded to the container wall associated with the trough-shaped depression.
  • the plate-shaped holding piece can lie even in a practically receiving recess, this recess has a smaller depth than that provided for the bulbous grip end trough.
  • a plate-shaped holding piece arranged in this way no longer bears in the radial direction at all.
  • the respective holding piece receiving recess may extend as a peripheral bead, so that the arrangement of the plate-shaped holding pieces takes place at only two points of this bead ring. But it can also be provided in the form of two and corresponding to the outer edge of the plate-shaped holding piece corresponding recesses which receive two plate-shaped holding pieces.
  • the respective diameter of these recesses is at least slightly larger than the outer diameter of the plate-shaped holding piece: A similar proviso can apply to the dimension of the circumferential strip bead.
  • Such an arrangement provides for a flat cover of the grip end receiving trough in the container wall.
  • the bulbous end of the handle may be trapezoidal, frusto-conical, or round to oval in cross-section, with a front portion having a smaller diameter than a more posterior portion for facilitating insertion into the resilient inner edge of the disc-shaped retainer.
  • Figure 1 illustrates the container B as a cylindrical bucket or bucket made of sheet metal, for example, to receive color.
  • a lid D is shown in the raised state above the upper edge of the container B.
  • the lid is designed as a Eindrückdeckel, and a cover ring forms the upper edge region R of the container and the inner edge to which the lid D sealingly engages a cylindrical wall piece.
  • a handle G is shown as a wide-open U-shaped bracket, which is arranged on two outer sides of a container wall 30, which forms the container body B, to be explained in more detail holding pieces H at a significant distance from the upper edge of the container.
  • the hull B has a central axis 101, which is perpendicular in the assumed case, so that a horizontal axis 100 passes through the center of the holding piece H. Unless otherwise stated, the container will be described in the upright condition to define the terms “horizontal” and "vertical”.
  • FIG. 1 shows a side view in the left half and a section in the right half.
  • the handle G hangs loose; it has a bow-shaped portion 15b and at each of its ends an approximately horizontally along the axis 100 extending end portion 15c, which is provided with a thickening 15a at the end.
  • This thickening is shown engaging in the hood-shaped holding piece H in Figure 1.
  • Below the thickening or under the hood, an approximately circular recess 10 is disposed in the container wall 30, which is recognizable in section.
  • the opening 22 through which the bead-shaped end 15a of the straight end portion or end portion 15c passes has a diameter smaller than the bead-shaped thickening 15a but at least as large as the diameter of the approximately assumed end portion 15c of the grip G.
  • Embodiments of the bead-shaped thickening 15a are shown in FIGS . 7a, 7b and 7c .
  • a bulbous thickening in the form of a rounded bead 15a is shown in FIG. 7c.
  • the round shape may also be in the form of a more transversely than longitudinally extending lens to obtain a clearer shoulder 16 in transition to the rectilinear gripping portion 15c.
  • the front end can be chamfered, as shown in Figures 7b and 7a. It forms cross-sectional shapes in the form of trapezoids or truncated cones, wherein the truncated cone is trapezoidal in cross-section in the front region and cylindrical in the rear region.
  • the shoulders 16 are more pronounced to make it difficult to pull the handle out of the opening 22.
  • the front ends are more reduced to facilitate insertion.
  • the chamfers should be oriented so that the slanted surfaces meet the unloaded edge line 22a of the opening.
  • FIG. 2 illustrates the hood-shaped holding piece H of FIG. 1 in three illustrations, a perspective representation shown first, a side view and a plan view.
  • FIG. 2 illustrates the opening 22 and the direction 100, in which the bead-shaped end piece 15a, 15a ', 15a' 'is inserted into the opening 22.
  • the hood-shaped end piece H has an approximately cylindrical shape with a non-high, rather than flat to be designated cylindrical wall 20 and a top wall 21, which is shown here in a circle.
  • the diameter of the top wall 21 is at least equal to the diameter of the trough 10 in the container wall 30, so that the annular wall 20 comes to lie next to and outside the trough 10 in the case of attachment to the wall 30.

  • projections 27 are provided, which are arranged on the container facing end edge of the cylindrical wall 20.
  • a regular distribution ensures a uniform holding force, which is obtained during welding in the manner of Preßstumpfschhabens under cover of the trough 10 of the container.
  • the trough 10 is covered, surrounded by the annular wall 20, and an opening 22 is left, which lies directly above the trough 10.
  • an inner edge 22a which delimits the opening 22, yields elastically, which is achieved by cuts or slots 23a, 23b, 23c, 23d, which, starting from the opening 22 in the plan view of the cover wall 21 in the lower part of FIG to be shown.
  • these slots extend directly radially, and four slots are provided.
  • the slots provide for the formation of segments or lobes which, under load from the bead 15a of the handle G, yield elastically to areas adjacent and outside the opening 22 and allow the bead 15a to engage behind the top wall 21.
  • the elastically yielding inner edge 22a can be selected to be stronger and weaker elastically, depending on how many radially directed incisions 23a, 23b, ...., referred to below as 23, are introduced into the ceiling 21 from the inner edge 22a of the opening 22. It is advisable to align the slots 23 so that they point directly between respective projections 27 at the bottom of the wall 20. But they can also be aligned as shown in Figure 2. If they are centered on the spaces between the projections 27 (as welding feet), just the areas of the segments formed between the slots are aligned with a respective welded attachment point. Bending forces can thus be better absorbed without deformation of the wall 20.
  • the bead is made larger in diameter at the handle end, the forces for latching and unlatching of the linear end portion 15c are greater and thus the arrangement of the handle G more stable.
  • the bead should not be chosen smaller in diameter than the opening 22 in the unloaded state (ie without force in the direction of the axis 100), so that the latching and unlatching comes about.
  • the trough 10 is chosen to be greater in depth than the flat height "h" of the holding piece H. This ensures that the holding device according to the example of the invention less cantilevered, so only flat rests on the container wall 30, is welded there and a substantial part of the bead is received at the handle end of the inwardly directed recess 10.
  • the projections 27 on the laterally projecting or pointing to the container wall 30 lower edge of the annular wall 20 may be arranged as one or two pairs, which is usually mechanically sufficiently stable.
  • FIG. 3 shows a plate-shaped holding piece H, without an annular wall 20 with only one cover wall 21 and projections 27 arranged directly thereon, for attachment to the container wall.
  • the trough 10 is chosen to be lower than in a holding piece according to Figure 2 and takes on the full thickness of the thickening of the handle end, covered only by the opening 22 provided with the top wall 21 to obtain a minimum of lateral projection.
  • the projections can be mild to clear, in particular between 30 ° and 90 °, be bent out of the plane of the top wall 21 to produce when welding contact points of small surface measure.
