Definitions
- the invention relates to the field of game rackets used for sports involving a ball or the like, and for example tennis rackets, squash or badminton ..
- the sieve carried by the frame, has a frame parallel to the longitudinal axis of the handle and composed of amounts, and a frame perpendicular to the previous and composed of cross, these amounts and through being intersecting alternately above and below the elements from the other frame.
- the sieve is obtained from at least one rope of length defined which, off the sieve, crosses the frame of the racket to form a loop, of various shape according to rackets and taking support on the frame.
- connection between the rope and frame also plays an important role with regards to the strength and reliability of the sieve. So we know the door barrettes guns mounted on the frame for engagement of guns in holes arranged for this purpose in the frame. The rope thus crosses the frame through the guns intended to guide and protect the rope the crossing.
- the existing rackets have a major disadvantage as far as it is difficult to influence dynamic behavior from their sieves, with simple means to implement.
- US-A-4,697,811 describes the set of characteristics belonging to the preamble of the independent claims 1 and 12. Furthermore, DE-A-41 10 698 describes a tennis racket frame, in which the barrette bar rests against this frame, with the interposition of rubber profiles.
- the object of the present invention is to obtain flexibility or elasticity in the rope-frame connection with controlled stiffness and possibly evolutionary during the tensioning of the rope or during an impact of a ball.
- a complementary object aims at obtaining shock absorption and vibrations through the sieve and felt by the player.
- the framework of the racket is for example tubular and each hole through its walls respectively, inner and outer, for the passage of a amount or a cross, constitutes housing for a guide barrel of this amount or through and this gun is solidary, with several others cannons, barrel barrel made of semi-rigid synthetic material molded to the shape of the part of the frame on which it is to be affixed and giving the guns the direction they must have when they are engaged in the through holes of this frame, said bar having, between each group of two contiguous guns, a range of support of the rope.
- the gaps extend over the outer periphery of the frame, either in a longitudinal direction or in a transverse direction, and may or may not open on the lateral and / or longitudinal flanks litters.
- the bearing surfaces have a hole opening out part on the support zone of the rope and secondly on the gap.
- At least some of the gaps are filled with a soft material to cushion the deformations undergone by the corresponding spans, during a tension or shock on the rope.
- the material Soft comes in contact with the rope and frame of the racket.
- the racket includes a frame 2, itself composed of two parts 2a, a head portion 2b, and a heart portion 2c, integral of gussets 3 of connection to the handle not shown, and a sieve composed of uprights 4 and crosswise 5.
- the frame 2 of the racket is made of material composite, synthetic fiber-synthetic resin type, and is composed tubular elements.
- This frame 2 therefore comprises an inner wall 6, an outer wall 7 which are traversed by through holes 6a, 7a, pierced after making the racket, for passage of the rope constituting the sieve formed by intercrossing the amounts and through, and more specifically, for the passage of guide guns 8.
- the frame 2 can be full or hollow.
- the barrels 8, guiding the uprights 4 and through 5 in their crossing of the frame 2 are integral with door bars guns comprising two lateral bars 9, a head bar 10, a heart bar 11, and two extension bars 9a.
- These different bars which are adapted to each racket size, differentiate from those currently known by the fact that they are made of a synthetic material, for example with a high coefficient of slip, but semi-rigid, and for example made of polyamide 6.6 with a charge of Polytetrafluoroethylene, and are molded in the form of part of the frame to which they must be affixed by cannon molding the orientation they must have when they are engaged in the holes 6a, 7a formed in this frame.
- the extreme guns 8a of the bar cannon head holder 10 and intended for an extreme cross and two extreme amounts, are, for their part, arranged substantially radially to the frame to avoid crossing.
- the guns 8b worn by the extension strips 9a and intended to receive the other end of extreme amounts 4b, an extreme cross 5b and the ends of some central amounts 4a, fitting badly in the curvature of the frame 2 heart side, are also arranged substantially radially by report to this framework.
- the frame 2 of the racket comprises, in its outer wall 7, a groove 14 with bottom 14a and having a section crosswise "U".
- this groove 14 fits the bottom, in profile complementary, corresponding bars 9 to 11.
- each of these bars comprises longitudinally a groove 16 having a cross-section "U” marrying transversely the shape of the loops 17 connecting two through, or two amounts, and bearing on said bar in the meantime between two guns 8, 8a, 8b.
- each bar comprises between each group of two contiguous guns 8, 8a or 8b, a curviform or convex profile delimiting a scope 18 matching the curvatures, respectively, longitudinal and transverse of the loop 17, and improving the support of the rope.
- This scope 18 has radii of curvature R1, R2 which vary depending on the position of the scope 18 on the corresponding part of Box 2, and so as to always ensure the better support of the rope forming the loop, without him communicate a curvature that can affect its resistance, for example by excessive bending stresses.
- Each of these spans 18 comprises, in its central part, a gap 18a or cavity for example opening from its bottom and determining a shoulder 25a bearing on the bottom 14a of the groove 14 of the frame 2.
- the degree of damping is therefore determined by the properties elastics conferred to the scope 18, on the one hand by its shape and on the other hand by the properties of its constituent material.
- FIGS. 2, 3 and 4 show spans 18 extending according to a longitudinal or convex peripheral direction of the frame 2. These worn 18 are therefore in the form of bridges or arches on which one comes to rest the rope 17.
- each of the spans 18 comprises in its central portion a corresponding gap 18a in the form of a recess of cavity or empty space, so as to give this central part elastic properties.
- These spans 18 are advantageously curviform or curved.
- the staves 18 have at least one hole 20 opening on the one hand on the support zone of the rope 17 and on the other hand, in the corresponding lacuna 18a.
- the gaps 18a are open on the side flanks 21 has spans 18.
- the gaps 18 a open on the blanks 21b of longitudinal spans 18, or transversely to the door bar guns.
- Each of the staves 18 therefore has in its central part the gap 18a in the form of recess or empty space so as to give this central part elastic deformation properties. These properties are obtained by choosing a rigid or semi-rigid material whose fallback reactions or its deformations according to the stresses applied by the rope 17. The configuration even these staves 18 and barrettes barrels also contribute to these elasticity properties, associated the case appropriate to damping properties related to the constituent material said staves 18.
- gaps 18a that are obtained either by molding or by release of material, so as to confer specific elastic properties on the said 18.
- the latter rests at its ends on the frame 2, or indirectly by a constituent strip 25 of the barrel guns.
- the range 18 can also be obtained by deformation of this band 25 resting on the bottom 14a of the frame 2.
- the spans 18 extend in a direction transverse to the frame.
- litters 18 for example in the form of a bridge or arch extending substantially perpendicular to the extension plane of the formed loop by the rope 17.
- the gun barrette has additional supports 22 protruding out of the band 25 and extending on either side of the 18.
- This complementary support 22 presents for example a inclined or substantially rounded shape so as to obtain support according to a substantially homogeneous radius of curvature.
- the support in question is of course a loop, a rope 17 both ends of which engage in bores associated with the 8 corresponding cannon.
- These complementary supports 22 present advantageously a weak contact zone with the rope 17 so not to hinder the deformation of the span 18.
- FIG. 10 represents another embodiment of barrette door barrel shown in Figure 9 in which the supports 22 are connected to the base of the span 18. a gap 18a located between the span 18 and the strip 25 which comes in support of the framework 2.
- the span 18 is connected to the strip 25 so as to constitute a hollow structure delimiting the gap 18a.
- the gap 18a can also be open on the bottom of groove 14a as shown in FIG. 13 or 14.
- Band 25 shows this effect an opening made by any known means. Again, gaps 18a may be open on the side flanks and / or longitudinal dimensions of litters 18.
- FIGS. 11 and 13 thus show that the transverse flanks, ie coming to look directly with the rope 17 are open outwards.
- the gaps 18a are fulfilled, for at least some of them, by flexible material conferring on the corresponding spans 18, properties amortization. These properties then make it possible to dampen the shocks related to the impact of a bullet and dampen vibrations.
- the gaps 18a are filled with such material.
- the deformation of the range 18 thus cause a compression of this flexible material 30, which thus generates shock attenuation and vibrations resulting from the impact of a bullet on the sieve of the racket.
- this flexible material 30 has a hardness Shore A between 50 and 70.
- this flexible material can be a viscoelastic material.
- the latter can be overmolded, glued or inserted by any means into the gap, and is constituted for example elastomer of the rubber or silicone type, or polyurethane of which one can accurately determine the hardness.
- This flexible material 30 is introduced into all the gaps 18a barrel bar or only in a selection of gaps 18a.
- the flexible material 30 can come into direct contact with the bottom 14a of the groove 14 formed in the frame 2 when said gap 18a is open on said bottom 14a.
- the racket designer has so with the means extremely simple, from a range of physical parameters to adjust the racket. He can thus choose the material constituents of the spans 18 and their configurations to obtain a certain elastic behavior and, where appropriate, damping.
- the choice of material 30 thus associated with the scope 18 considered makes it possible to influence additional way the sieve behavior, in particular with respect to vibration.
- the racket according to the invention has a sieve whose stiffness is controlled on the one hand, and scalable on the other hand. It is particularly interesting to note that one can thus intervene on a many parameters affecting the behavior of the racquet without adding additional elements or parts to the frame or on the sieve.
- This extension of the elongations increases the requested length of ropes and artificially increases the size of the sieve without affecting the waist of the frame that supports it. This has the effect of increasing the power of the racket without increasing its size.
- the definitive form of the bars and their made of rigid or semi-rigid material avoids the fragile zones of between cannons and barrettes are subjected, by bending during their implementation, to constraints that may favor primers of breaking, and, consequently, guarantees the longevity of the guiding of the loops, so crosses and amounts.
