Definitions
- the invention relates to a sound system for a motor vehicle according to the preamble of claim 1 and a method for Initialization of one.
- this system shows a rigid Construction with only a single control unit / head unit, which as only input option of the motor vehicle distributed system. A multiple operation of the Sound systems, for example, from the driver and from the rear is not possible with this system.
- a sound system is also known from DE 196 51 308 A1, its range of functions based on the functional scope of the individual components of the sound system is formed, whereby a larger compared to the aforementioned sound systems There is flexibility.
- the range of functions of the individual components, the possible functionality of the individual components, d. H. all accessible by the user technical properties of the components included for education of the functional scope of the entire system. in the The user can use this entire range of functions then by defining individual parameters using one single input unit with the help of the control unit set individual functionalities in a targeted manner. For example, the functionality "bass" as part of the Functional scope of the component amplifier on the Parameter value plus 5 dB can be raised. The setting this parameter value is carried out by the control unit of the Sound systems.
- This sound system also turns out to be little suitable to meet the demands for a more flexible structure of a Sound systems with several input units to control the to meet different units of the sound system.
- the object of the invention is to provide an audio sound system for Train the motor vehicle in the most flexible way possible is trained and as simple as possible, can be operated inexpensively and safely.
- This task is the beginning of an audio sound system mentioned genus solved according to the invention by the features of the characterizing part of claim 1. Furthermore this task through an initialization process, i. H. to determine the range of functions of an audio sound system solved according to claim 12.
- At least one additional input unit Input unit provided that control individual or several units of the audio sound system in addition to the first Input unit enables.
- This one more or these others Input units can be distributed over the motor vehicle, for example at positions that correspond to the individual sitting positions are assigned in the motor vehicle.
- Become two input units is typically realized in the audio sound system one arranged in the area of the driver and the other in Area of the rear seats. This allows an input, i.e. H. an operation of the audio sound system from all seats of the Motor vehicle be made.
- the input units Priority value assigned in a memory of the the respective input unit is stored. From this Each input unit has its own priority value Assigned functional scope of a differentiated assignment the functions of the individual units of the audio sound system to the individual input units. Through this differentiated, individual definition of the scope of functions of the individual input units based on their different Priority values is a functional collision during an entry at least largely via the various input units locked out. So there is also a danger of the Audio sound systems excluded and extensive use of the sound system.
- Each individual component, its range of functions for education the range of functions of the individual input units used is a memory that is preferably part of the concerned Unit is assigned. In this memory is the maximum Functional scope of this unit shown, this Range of functions depending on a priority value in different subsets can be broken down.
- the priority value of the relevant input unit is the Unit from the memory assigned to it relevant subset of its priority value Form functional scope and this over the ring-shaped Line of the bus to the relevant input unit transfer.
- This input unit receives from various other units of the audio sound system their respective the Priority value corresponding to the input unit concerned Functional scope and forms the functional scope of the Units their functional scope, the functionalities includes which are operated by this input unit can.
- This priority value-dependent functional scope formation of the input unit provides a ranking of the different input units for different functionalities of the audio sound system.
- the range of functions of the input unit in the rear of the motor vehicle and thus also the range of functions of the entire system can be determined in such a way that the audio signal amplifier responsible for the rear area with the functionality "volume” can be increased or decreased in a targeted manner in terms of volume and thereby the loudspeakers connected to it with a more or less strongly amplified electrical audio signal, whereby a higher volume or a lower "volume” can be heard in the rear area.
- the volume can also be adjusted by the other input unit in the area of the driver's seat, for example the voice output of the navigation device, which takes place independently of the input on the input unit in the rear area of the motor vehicle.
- a change in the volume of the voice output of the navigation device as part of the audio sound system from the input unit in the rear area is not possible due to the defined range of functions based on the priority value of the input unit in the rear.
- the priority value of the input unit in the driver's area regarding the unit of the navigation device has priority over the input unit in the rear. As a result, only the input unit in the driver's area can control the navigation device, particularly with regard to the volume of the voice output.
- the inventive design and initialization of the audio sound system makes it possible to give each input unit an individual range of functions which is formed by partially different subsets of the functional scope of the individual units of the audio sound system. It is therefore possible that individual units of the audio sound system cannot be actuated by individual input units, while other units can be actuated completely. Furthermore, it is possible that individual functionalities of individual units can be addressed equally by multiple input units as long as there is no fear of a relevant conflict of interest or inoperability of the system. By defining the priority-dependent scope of functions in the individual units, any functional division of the audio sound system can be implemented via the individual input units. This results in a particularly flexible system that can be oriented to the respective needs.
- the input units in each case have proven particularly useful to be provided with a keyboard. Then using the keyboard the assigned input unit entered a priority value and stored in the memory of the input unit. Means this training of the audio sound system can be based on a elaborate programming to determine the individual Priority values of the input units or an additional one Unit of the audio sound system to determine the Priority values are waived, which is a simple and safe handling of the audio sound system, especially at changing operating situations, for example due to changed Vehicle occupants, enables. For example, depending on Vehicle occupants have an input unit in the rear get different priority value assigned, which then a different range of functions of the input unit conditionally.
- a child as an inmate should only have one narrowly limited range of functions get while the adult occupant is very comfortable on the Variety of units such as telephone, fax, etc. should be able to access a wide range of functions.
- a corresponding priority value input on the input unit can be a very simple and convenient way Let the user trigger the adjustment himself.
- the Priority value assignment by the control unit of the Audio sound system made that a certain Priority value over the line of the ring-shaped bus system the input unit concerned, which directs the priority value records and stores it in their memory for the priority value discards. Based on this priority value is then a Initialization process started in which the range of functions this input unit or all input units new is determined and fixed. The can by Control unit transmitted priority value through a central Input unit or via an interface to the bus system connectable external data input device to transmit become. In a corresponding way, it is also possible to Storage of the individual units with data on their Functional scope including its priority value dependent Outline with new, changed data for a future Formation of the functional scope of the individual input units Mistake.
- a particularly simple and pleasant way of operating the Audio sound systems is achieved in that the Control unit, an input unit and display unit are connected to each other in such a way that according to the Functional range of the input unit on the display unit specific operating menus are shown, which are the operation of the system using the input unit based on the Representation in the display unit single-minded and simple enable.
- the operating menus can be specific to the individual functionalities of the individual units according to the relevant priority value. It is possible the display unit with an additional To provide voice output, which the ease of use and the operational safety of the entire system, especially with the automotive application additionally increased. Likewise, with comparable advantages the input unit also as voice-controlled input unit.
- the preferred embodiment of the invention has shown in addition to the audio data, other multimedia data, in particular Video data to be transmitted and corresponding units for Generation of this multimedia data and corresponding units to provide for the presentation of this multimedia data.
- units for generating multimedia data are especially DVD players, CD-ROM readers and To name navigation devices and as units for display
- These multimedia data are, for example, LCD displays or TFT displays to name.
- This adaptation does not only include the recording new functionalities through new units, but also changed functional scope depending on the priority values of the individual input units. This flexibility is all the more more significant, the greater the number of units to generate of audio and / or multimedia data.
- This system is characterized in particular by the fact that it is only for one very limited time, especially when turning on, not in is fully functional since during this period the Functional scope of the input units must first be formed and therefore the operation of the system for this time is not or is only possible to a limited extent, but when switching on from User is perceived as only slightly annoying.
- the invention relates to a method for initializing a Audio sound system in which the functional scope of the sound system respectively the functional scope of at least one input unit is set.
- a specific control signal is carried out this input unit via the bus to the other units of the Systems submitted.
- This control signal shows the Priority value of the input unit that is stored in its memory for the priority value is stored.
- Based on this control signal form the other units of the system from the one in theirs Memory stored functionality depending on priority value a subset that the full functionality but also each Subset thereof can include up to the functional scope zero, and transfer this subset to the bus Input unit which has formed the control signal.
- the ring topology of the audio sound system With a single ring-shaped bus line over which the control and Audio / video data are transmitted monodirectionally, it succeeds through the transmission of the control signal and the Retransfer of the subsets, and thus the Functional scopes of the concerned input unit to completely encompass the ring. It is thus possible to utilize the load on the To reach Busses. From the functional scope formed other units will be in the input unit Functional range formed. Which makes it possible for over this input unit the individual other units according to the functionalities of their functional scope be targeted depending on the priority value can. Due to the formation of the Functional scope of the various input units ensures that conflicts of interest of users or Command collisions of the users are significantly reduced or even reduced excluded are. This results in a particularly safe one Control of the audio sound system.
- the priority value of the input unit is based on this preferably after the position of the input unit in the vehicle or according to the user or according to the authorization of the User. This also makes it clear that it is very beneficial is the priority value of the individual input unit Change need. This can ensure that each depending on whether in the rear of the vehicle children or adults be accommodated, corresponding functionalities for Setting by the input unit in the rear available stand or not. On the one hand, these functionalities the change of individual parameters of individual units, such as volume, bass, treble, fighter, balance, Equivalence etc. or individual functions such as e.g. play, trek jump, repeat, fast forward, rewind, Frequency change, frequency band change, mute, Traffic news activated / deactivated, broadcast search start, activate / deactivate RDS functions etc. affect.
- these functionalities the change of individual parameters of individual units, such as volume, bass, treble, fighter, balance, Equivalence etc. or individual functions such as e.g. play, trek jump, repeat, fast forward, re
- the Priority values are preferred, either by the user via the input unit itself, for example via a Keyboard or entered via a voice input or by a unit for setting the priority values, which in any unit of the audio sound system is located over the bus into memory for the priority value of the respective input unit.
- the priority value by the user is a very simple one Control of the system given, the user being active at must participate in the initialization process and certain rules has to be considered while determining the Priority values by a corresponding unit of the Audio sound system an automatic definition is possible which requires increased organizational and tax expenditure.
- the audio sound system has proven particularly useful here regularly on changes, especially by adding or removing or replacing components or even on Requests to change the functionalities of individual units, for example by changing the priority values of the Check input units and upon detection of such Event the definition of the functional scope of the Input units and thus the range of functions of the system again. Regardless, it is always preferred when switching on the system or when switching on individual Components of the initialization process started because of this new functionalities in the functional scope of the respective Input units can be included.
- the invention is based on a 1 explained.

Abstract
