Definitions
- the present invention relates to a base made of a cardboard blank for a sales display.
- Sales displays made from a cardboard blank are widely used Use when presenting goods in retail stores.
- Common Sales displays consist of a pallet platform on which a base is arranged is.
- the upper contact surface of the base serves to support a goods container, designed differently to advertise a wide variety of goods can be. It is important that the base has the entire weight the advertised goods in the goods container, including the weight of the Container itself, records. This requires sufficient pressure resistance and buckling or buckling resistance. These are the main dangers with relatively high bases and must be taken into account accordingly become. Since such sales displays are also visually appealing Design, the most varied of geometric designs have so far been used Basic shapes used for base. Popular and easy thanks to a cardboard cut Polygonal cross sections and round columns are to be produced in particular.
- bases with a polygonal basic cross section can be used simplest cardboard blanks in one piece over fold or crease lines and glue points produce.
- gluing operations should be able to be carried out on site.
- sales displays have prevailed very well and are coming relatively often used.
- efforts, improvements, in particular with regard to the stability of the base have been used.
- a base from a cardboard blank for a sales display in that at least one side wall is convex and at least one side wall is biased.
- the two sides are arranged in relation to each other in such a way that both the standing surface and the supporting surface can be made flat.
- the base is given a high degree of stability, since this provides an additional stiffening effect.
- the two side walls adjoin one another at a corner, such a corner is made extremely rigid due to the prestressing and prevents buckling or further bulging.
- aesthetically pleasing plinths can also be produced in this way, which enable a large spectrum of stable plinth designs.
- convex "and concave are used with regard to the visible side of the curved side walls. A concave side wall therefore leads to a constriction and a convex side wall to a bulge in the base.
- a cutting line generated by a vertical cut can be a curved one Sidewall curved towards or away from a vertical column axis his.
- the base therefore has different heights at different heights Cross sections or cross section sizes. Have previously used bases often a cross section that is constant over its entire height. The something different Design of the mentioned embodiment allows a wide variety of design and shape requirements to be met while maintaining sufficient stability.
- a suitable fold line is preferably of a length that is greater is than the height of the side walls. The respective one is below the height of the side wall vertical distance between the base at the lower end of the side wall and of the contact surface at the upper end of the side wall.
- the curvature of the each side wall then depends on the difference in the length of the fold line Height of the side wall.
- the curvature of the fold lines can be a circular arc shape or have any other continuous form of curvature (parabola, hyperbola, etc.).
- two Adjacent fold line delimiting a convexly curved side wall be crooked. This means that the start and end points of the fold lines are further apart than e.g. a middle area of these fold lines.
- the Sidewall bounded stand area has the same shape and size as the support area delimited by the side walls.
- those of the stand area bounded by the side walls and that bounded by the side walls Support surface to be congruent and arranged parallel to each other. While Stand area and contact area can be essentially identical, then have the side walls arranged in between the desired stabilizing and elegant design.
- the stand area delimited by the side walls and that by the side walls bounded bearing surface rotated and arranged parallel to each other. It is thus e.g. an embodiment conceivable through which the footprint and the support surface are rotated by 90 ° around the axis of the base to each other.
- the side walls themselves can e.g. depending on the curvature of the fold line have different sizes and designs. Here it depends e.g. also depending on the number of possible corners that the footprint or support surface having.
- a refined design can be done in that at least two fold lines have a common starting section, then diverge and have spaced end points. This opens up the possibility to design a side wall so that this curvature only starts from a certain one Curved above the standing surface or at a distance from the support surface is.
- the upper edge adjacent to the support surface and the lower edge adjacent to the base and the lower edge on the base the adjacent edge of a convexly pre-stressed side wall is straight.
- the convex prestress therefore has no influence on the shape of the Contact surface or the footprint, so that this is a polygon shape with straight Can occupy side edges. This differs from curved side walls to see their curvature also the shape of the top and bottom side edges directly influenced.
- the upper edge adjoining the contact surface and the lower edge can the edge of a standing surface of a concavely prestressed side wall is straight run and / or be configured essentially point-like. Therefore it is also possible with concave prestressed side walls that they are accurate end in a corner of the support surface or stand area and thus only are punctiform.
- the invention relates to a sales display with a raised arranged goods container and a base supporting the goods container according to one of claims 1 to 13.
- the base 1 shown in Fig. 1 has a square bearing surface 2 and a equally large, also square footprint 3.
- the contact surface 2 serves to set up a goods container for a sales display, which also how the base 1 consists of a cardboard material.
- the footprint 3 can immediately on a floor or e.g. can be arranged on a pallet platform.
- the illustrated base 1 is shaped such that the bearing surface 2 opposite the base 3 is arranged rotated by 90 ° around the base axis A. Are there the support surface 2 and the base 3 aligned parallel to each other.
- Stand area 3 means the area delimited by the lower side edges 4, it does not have to be completely filled with cardboard material. 2 is to recognize that the lower side edges 4 are generated by the fold lines 5. In the plane of the base 3 extend towards the end of each side edge 4 inclined fastening tabs 6. The end slopes of the fastening tabs 6 are designed such that they fold when the base 1 is folded do not overlap.
- the base 1 has four at least partially concavely curved Side walls 7 and with four adjacent, convex curved side walls 8 provided.
- Each side wall 7 is bounded at the bottom by the fold line 5, and laterally defined in the lower region by the corner fold lines 9.
- the corner fold lines 9 run perpendicular to the fold lines 5 up to a certain height (approx. 1/4 of the total height of the base) before they are each divided into two fold lines 10 and 11 which extend in a curved manner.
- the curvature of the fold lines 10 and 11 is chosen so that they give the side walls 7 a convex upper side edge 12.
- the fold lines 10 and 11 are of equal length and run symmetrically to one another to a side center line B. This means that the fold lines 10 and 11 converge at the upper end of the base 1 to form a corner 13 of the support surface 2.
- This intersection of the fold lines 10 and 11 lies exactly on the fold lines 14, which are arranged parallel to the fold lines 5, and the side edges 14 Define the contact surface 2.
- the side walls 8 are therefore defined by the fold lines 10 and 11 and 14 and thus have a kind of triangular shape with two initially straight and then concave curved side edges.
- Fig. 2 it can be seen that the cardboard blank in its width by about half the length of the fold line 5 or 14 is longer. This area is used for Glue the cardboard blank together with the adjacent section overlapped and glued.
- Rectangular folding flaps 15 and 16 adjoin the folding lines 14. This have the same length as the fold lines 14 and half the width of the support surface 2 on.
- a plug-in flap is attached to the folding flaps 15 by means of a further folding line 17 18 molded with insertion lugs 19.
- the slots 20 run in the folding flaps 16 in an extension of the folding lines 9.
- the folding flaps 15 and 16 at the upper end of the base 1 are each to the fastening tabs 6 at the lower end of the base 1 offset by half the length of the base width arranged. This results from the rotated arrangement of the support surface 2 and footprint 4 relative to each other.
- the folding flaps 16 are then bent through 90 ° along the folding lines 14, which then happens with the folding tabs 15. Finally, the tabs folded over at the fold lines 17 and the insertion tabs 19 into the insertion slots 20 inserted. Because of the curved fold lines 10 and 11 and the predetermined The shape of the support surface 2 by the folding tabs 15 and 16 takes place at least in upper area of the base a bias of the side walls 7 and 8. So that Side walls 8 from a straight side edge 14 'in the also straight corner fold line 9 pass, it must be convexly curved outwards (see Fig. 1). To compensate, the upper area of the side walls 7 must go out convex outwards from the starting point of fold line 10 and 11 at the end of fold line 9 be curved.
- the side walls 7 are each from two to the surface of the side walls 7 towards convex curved corner fold lines 22, the fold line 5 and the upper side edge 14 'limited.
- the side walls 8 are defined by the lower fold line 5, two corner fold lines curved concavely towards the surface of this side wall 8 22 and the upper fold line 14.
- Side edge has a tab 18 with tab 19.
- the top Side edges 14 'of the side walls 7 have slots 23 which are used to insert the Plug tabs 18 are used, the plug tabs 19 on the outside of the side walls 17 remain so that a securely anchored support surface 2 is formed.
- Auxiliary folding lines 21 are provided which are completely continuous from top to bottom.
- the side walls 8 are from the lower fold line 5 of the upper fold line 14 and each of these side wall surfaces 8 delimits concave border fold lines 22.
- the corner fold lines 22 are arranged in FIG similarly as in the previous embodiment. These are running at the top and bottom of the base 1 together so that a lens shape arises.
- six fastening tabs 6 are at the lower end of the Side walls 8 arranged, whereas every third side wall 8 with a folding flap 15 is provided in half a hexagon shape.
- To glue the one shown in FIG. 10 To achieve cardboard body outside the side walls 7 is the outer Side wall 8 divided into the components 8 'and 8' '. These are then created using the adhesive tab 24 glued together. Complete the surface sections 8 'and 8' ' each other again to a complete side wall 8, similar to the two other side walls 8 outer fastening tab 6, which is divided into the components 6 'and 6' 'by means of the adhesive tab 25.
- the lenticular side walls 8 are again arcuate curved corner fold lines 22 completely bordered. This is also the Shape of the side walls 7 predetermined.
- the auxiliary folding lines 21 are used for joining again to a flat base blank.
- a corner flap 26 is also provided, which on the fold line 14 of one of the side walls 7 adjacent.
- the corner tab 26 has one along its left side edge Fold line 27 and an insertion flap 28 adjoining this.
- an insertion slot 29 In the middle of Folding line 27 is an insertion slot 29 into which an adjacent plug extension 30 can be inserted into the adjacent side wall 8. This allows you to see how can be seen in Fig. 9, the entire bearing surface 2 to the front tip of the Cover the base.
- the side walls 7 and 8 By erecting the base 1 from the glued, flat base blank and inserting both the folding tab 15 and the corner tab 26 the side walls 7 and 8 pressed into their corresponding shape.
- the side walls 8 take an outwardly convex shape and the side walls 7 one correspondingly inward concave shape. This also gives them essentially triangular design of a base 1 a stable stiffening.
- All of the bases 1 described above are hollow bodies which are merely are made of relatively thin sides or floor and top walls.
- other suitable materials can also be used use any configuration and thickness for these purposes.
- the base 1 with different polygonal basic cross-sectional shapes can be produced without the inventive To avoid stiffening by concave and convex side walls 7, 8.
- the different rotative arrangement between the contact surface and the Footprint can be created for a wide variety of shapes (starting from the Embodiment of FIGS. 1 and 2).
- the angular degree of rotation can be determined set differently.
