Claims (18)

  1. Procédé de fabrication de feuilles, de préférence des feuilles de sécurité pour des documents de valeur, se composant d'une feuille de support translucide et d'une couche de couverture appliquée sur celle-ci, qui présente des zones dépourvues de revêtement, en forme de lettres, de chiffres, de signes, de points et/ou de motifs, etc., particulièrement faciles à reconnaítre par transparence, caractérisé par les étapes suivantes :
    a) préparation de la feuille de support ;
    b) impression de la feuille de support avec des lettres, des chiffres, des signes, des points et/ou des motifs, etc. ;
    c) utilisation d'une encre d'impression ayant une teneur en pigments élevée ;
    d) séchage de l'encre d'impression avec formation d'un revêtement de couleur poreux, saillant ;
    e) formation d'une couche de couverture mince sur la feuille de support imprimée, qui n'est pas continue, en raison de la présence dans la zone imprimée du revêtement de couleur à la fois poreux et saillant ;
    f) élimination du revêtement de couleur et de la couche de couverture présente dans les zones imprimées de la feuille de support sur le revêtement de couleur, ou ayant pénétré dans le revêtement de couleur, grâce à un lavage avec un liquide, éventuellement combiné avec une action mécanique ;
    g) séchage et, le cas échéant, découpage de la feuille de support.
  2. Procédé selon la revendication 1, caractérisé en ce que la couche de couverture est une couche de métal, par exemple une couche d'aluminium ou de nickel.
  3. Procédé selon la revendication 1, caractérisé en ce que la feuille de support est préparée sous la forme d'une bande en continu, et en ce que le procédé est mis en oeuvre sans interruption.
  4. Procédé selon l'une des revendications 1 à 3, caractérisé en ce que l'encre d'impression est soluble dans l'eau et en ce que de l'eau est utilisée pour le lavage.
  5. Procédé selon la revendication 4, caractérisé en ce que l'encre d'impression contient de l'amidon, de l'alcool polyvinylique ou de la carboxyméthylcellulose comme produit liant.
  6. Procédé selon l'une des revendications 1 à 5, caractérisé en ce que des matières primaires naturelles sont choisies comme pigments, de préférence dans le groupe constitué par la craie, la bentonite, l'aérosil et le dioxyde de titane.
  7. Procédé selon l'une des revendications 1 à 6, caractérisé en ce que la teneur en pigments dans l'encre d'impression sèche s'élève à au moins 10 % en poids.
  8. Procédé selon l'une des revendications 1 à 7, caractérisé en ce que les particules de pigment présentent un diamètre équivalent moyen de 0,1 à 15 µm.
  9. Procédé selon l'une des revendications 1 à 8, caractérisé en ce que l'impression de la feuille de support s'effectue par héliogravure.
  10. Procédé selon l'une des revendications 2 à 9, caractérisé en ce que la formation de la couche de métal s'effectue par métallisation sous vide.
  11. Procédé selon la revendication 10, caractérisé en ce que l'épaisseur de la couche de métal métallisée sous vide s'élève à environ 0,1 µm.
  12. Procédé selon l'une des revendications 1 à 11, caractérisé en ce que le lavage est effectué à l'aide de moyens mécaniques, comme un rouleau rotatif, une brosse ou par ultrasons.
  13. Procédé selon l'une des revendications 1 à 12, caractérisé en ce que la feuille de support est découpée dans l'étape g) de la revendication 1 pour en faire des fils de sécurité qui présentent une largeur d'au plus 5 mm.
  14. Procédé de fabrication d'un document de valeur, caractérisé en ce qu'une feuille de sécurité, fabriquée selon un procédé conforme à au moins une des revendications 1 à 13, est insérée pendant la fabrication du document de valeur dans ce document de valeur.
  15. Procédé selon la revendication 14, caractérisé en ce que le document de valeur est fabriqué avec deux couches de papier et en ce que la feuille de sécurité est insérée entre ces couches de papier.
  16. Feuille de sécurité à intercaler ou à appliquer dans ou sur un document de valeur, se composant d'une feuille de support translucide et d'un revêtement métallique appliqué sur celle-ci, qui présente des zones dépourvues de métal particulièrement faciles à reconnaítre par transparence, caractérisée par une image en demi-teinte, les zones claires de l'image étant représentées par une faible densité de trame sur la feuille de support par ailleurs translucide et les zones sombres de l'image par une densité de trame élevée, et les points de trame étant formés par des dépôts de métal.
  17. Feuille selon la revendication 16, fabriquée selon le procédé conforme à une ou plusieurs des revendications 1 à 13.
  18. Un document de valeur fabriqué selon le procédé des revendications 14 ou 15, dans lequel on a inséré une feuille de sécurité qui a été fabriquée selon le procédé conforme à au moins une des revendications 1 à 13.
