Abstract

Die Erfindung betrifft Verfahren und dazugehörige Vorrichtungen zur Trocknung und Glättung einer Faserstoffbahn (1), insbesondere einer Papierbahn in einer Maschine zur Herstellung und/oder Veredlung derselben, bestehend aus zumindest einer Trockenpartie (2), in der die Faserstoffbahn (1) über mehrere beheizte Zylinder (3) geführt wird und einem Kalander (4) mit mehreren Glättspalten (5).
Zur Gewährleistung eines guten Feuchtequerprofils sowie eines guten Glättergebnisses bei hohen Geschwindigkeiten ist es dabei wesentlich, daß die Faserstoffbahn (1) in der Trockenpartie (2) höchstens bis auf einen Trockengehalt von 93% getrocknet und innerhalb der Trockenpartie (2) mehrfach auf das Feuchtequerprofil der Faserstoffbahn (1) Einfluß genommen wird.
