Description
Claims (11)
- Verfahren zum Trocknen von Papier, insbesondere in Form von ganzen Büchern, insbesondere als erste Behandlungsstufe bei der Massenentsäuerung von Papier, wobei das Papier durch Beaufschlagen mit warmer Luft erwärmt und durch Beaufschlagen mit Unterdruck getrocknet wird,
dadurch gekennzeichnet, daßdas Beaufschlagen des Papiers mit warmer Luft periodisch und im Wechsel mit dem Beaufschlagen mittels Unterdruck geschieht,wobei die warme Luft einen Feuchtegehalt von unter 1 Gew.% Wasser aufweist. - Verfahren nach Anspruch 1,
dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß
das Beaufschlagen mit warmer Luft durch Herantransportieren und überstreichen des Papiers mit bereits vorher erwärmter Luft geschieht. - Verfahren nach Anspruch 1 oder 2,
dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß
beim Beaufschlagen des Papiers mit warmer Luft die Strömungsgeschwindigkeit der Luft in der Nähe des Papiers zwischen 0,1 m/s und 2,0 m/s beträgt, insbesondere zwischen 0,5 m/s und 1,0 m/s. - Verfahren nach einem der vorhergehenden Ansprüche,
dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß
das Beaufschlagen mit warmer Luft und anschließende Beaufschlagen mit Unterdruck in vier bis sechs nacheinander folgenden Zyklen geschieht, um von sechs bis acht Gewichts-% Feuchtigkeit auf maximal 1 % Feuchtigkeit zu trocknen. - Verfahren nach einem der vorhergehenden Ansprüche,
dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß
beim Beaufschlagen mittels Unterdruck der Unterdrück geringer ist als 10 mbar, insbesondere geringer als 1 mbar. - Verfahren nach einem der vorhergehenden Ansprüche,
dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß
das Behandeln des Papiers chargenweise, vorzugsweise in einem Autoklaven, geschieht. - Verfahren nach einem der vorhergehenden Ansprüche,
dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß
beim Beaufschlagen des Papiers mit warmer Luft eine Endtemperatur des Papiers im Inneren der Bücher von 40°C bis 50°C, insbesondere von ca. 45°C, angestrebt wird. - Verfahren nach einem der vorhergehenden Ansprüche,
dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß
beim Behandeln einer Menge von 100 kg Papier die erste Heizphase ca. 2-3 Std. dauert, und die Dauer der Heizphasen geringfügig abnimmt bis auf ca. 1-2 Std. bei der letzten Phase. - Verfahren nach einem der vorhergehenden Ansprüche,
dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß
das Einwirken von Unterdruck auf das Papier nach den jeweiligen Erwärmungsphasen solange geschieht, bis die während der Beaufschlagung mit Vakuum stark abfallende Temperatur des Papiers sich stark verlangsamt oder gar in einen Temperaturanstieg umkehrt. - Verfahren nach einem der vorhergehenden Ansprüche,
dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß
bei der Behandlung von 100 kg Papier die erste Evakuierungsphase 0,7 bis 0,8 Std. dauert. - Verfahren nach einem der vorstehenden Ansprüche,
dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß
die Dauer der einzelnen Evakuierungsphasen sich von Zyklus zu Zyklus etwa verdoppelt, und insbesondere nach der vierten und letzten Heizperiode ca. 6 Std. beträgt.
