Definitions
- the invention relates to a textile fabric as or for paper machine clothing, conveyor belts or filter means, according to the preamble of claim 1.
- Textile fabrics are known in the prior art, which consist of two or more superimposed layers of fabric trained textile layers are formed which basically represent independent, woven structures. It is characteristic of this that every fabric layer has intersecting, interwoven structural threads, thus first structural threads, for example warp threads, and transverse to it second structural threads, for example Weft threads.
- Such fabrics are found especially as sheet forming screens in the sheet formation area of a paper machine Application. In principle, however, they are also suitable provided in other areas of a paper machine to become if they are adjusted accordingly or additionally be provided with fiber pads, for example to form a fiber felt. They also come as conveyor belts or filter media in question.
- the first connection technique uses additional twine used in two adjacent fabric layers involve. They are not part of the regular weave one fabric layer to the other fabric layer, thus do not form structural threads.
- the twine can be in Run warp or weft (cf. US-A-4,987,929; US-A-5 518 042; US-A-5,709,250; EP-B-0 579 818; U.S.-A-4,815,499; US-A-4 729 412, Fig. 1).
- DE-A-42 29 828 and EP-A-0 408 849 are also in illustrated and described binding threads running in one direction, EP-A-0 408 849 is a paired arrangement of two strings each showing each other alternate in the fabric layers connected by them.
- twine connects the Fabric layers not directly, but indirectly below Formation of an elastic intermediate layer between the Fabric layers consisting exclusively of the two binding thread systems consists.
- connection technology described above has the disadvantage that that threads that are foreign to the structure are used as binding threads be woven. They intervene irregularly in the bond pattern and disrupt its uniformity, even if they are arranged in pairs (cf. US-A-4,987,929; US-A-5 518 042; US-A-5,709,250; EP-A-0 408 849).
- the result is irregularities in water drainage and markings due to dents (Dimpel effect) in the paper-side surface.
- dents Denpel effect
- the twine is high Forces and abrasion due to mutual displacement the fabric layers are subject to a Compromise can be found. This also applies to the number the binding threads, because too many such threads would interfere with drainage.
- the Structural threads of at least one fabric layer for the connection of the fabric layers are not additional threads, but those that are an integral part of the respective fabric layer. Examples of this are US-A-4 605 585, US-A-5 244 543, US-A-5 564 475, EP-B-0 224 276, US-A-4 501 303, US-A-Re. 35, 777, EP-A-0 432 413 and EP-A-0 794 283.
- connection technology also has disadvantages. Obviously too many or even all structural threads of a fabric layer as If the binding structure threads are integrated, the result is a very uneven one Surface at least on the outside of this fabric layer. Only a few structural threads are used as binding structural threads the connection of the fabric layers is used not firm enough so that there is relative movement between the fabric layers comes. This in turn has an internal friction result in premature wear with the danger of delamination. In addition, the The binding structure threads are so highly stressed that it here too to the formation of dents with the risk of occurrence comes from marks in the paper web.
- EP-A-0 432 413 also mentioned above contain an indication that the paper machine screen disclosed therein also a combination of transverse and longitudinal May have binding threads. Like this in detail could look, however, is not described in detail.
- the invention has for its object a textile Flat structures with at least two independent layers to design that on the one hand a firm connection of the Layers with high dimensional stability can be achieved, on the other hand but get a very even surface becomes.
- second binding threads form binding structure threads and Groups of adjacent second binding structure threads are present and in these groups the binding structure threads in at least one textile layer in its direction of extension seen alternate and that the non-connecting Structural threads in at least one fabric layer are not interwoven.
- the basic idea of the invention is therefore in both directions to provide groups of binding structure threads, wherein the binding structure threads within the groups each alternate in their direction of extension and where furthermore those structural threads which are not binding structural threads do not form in at least one fabric layer are interwoven with each other, i.e. form scrims, if one thinks away the binding structure threads.
- binding structure threads can - each - Limit to two neighboring textile layers. So far If there are more than two layers of textile, the Binding structure threads but also more than two layers of textile or even integrate all textile layers. In all cases the possibility is opened, a much higher number of connecting points between the textile layers and thereby the forces on the textile layers to distribute more evenly. This has a more even surface result, which is particularly important when used in a Paper machine because of the otherwise existing marking risk is advantageous.
- the strength of the connection can be selected by the choice of material and the type of integration Binding structure threads according to the respective requirements to get voted. In any case, the relative movement between the textile layers through a stronger connection be significantly reduced. This in turn has to do with a substantial extension of the lower internal friction the lifespan. Add to that the good one Dimensional stability in both directions. Resilience too when cleaning with a high pressure water jet is improved.
- connection points a significantly improved in both directions
- Variation in the design of the textile fabric and the individual textile layers consists.
- the fabric can be adapted to the respective purpose be optimally adjusted.
- the necessary mechanical Properties of the fabric can largely regardless of the other application-specific Properties are set by its use for example as a paper machine screen, filter media or the like. So can with one use as a sheet forming screen consideration for good retention and water drainage can be taken without this having disadvantages in terms of strength have to be accepted.
- Binding structure threads in the textile layers that connect them alternate in each group in their direction of extension. So all binding structure threads become Connect the textile layers used, namely in the wise that they alternate in all textile layers.
- the groups of unidirectional binding structure threads with extending in that direction Alternate non-connecting structural threads, with the corresponding also for the groups who are in the other Direction extending binding structure threads can be provided can.
- the number of non-connecting structural threads can be between two groups of binding structure threads respective requirements, especially with a view to The strength of the connection of the textile layers must be adapted, d. H. there can be one or more non-connecting structural threads to be available. There is also the possibility several extending in one direction Groups of binding structure threads run adjacent to one another allow. It can also be an odd number of Binding structure threads between two non-connecting structure threads be present, only a part of these binding structure threads form a group in the sense described above, d. H. take turns in a fabric layer.
- the non-connecting structural threads in their fabric layer are not interwoven, the integration in the fabric layer thus takes place via the binding structure threads. If the binding structure threads are omitted the non-connecting structural threads only as a scrim in front. The reverse can also apply to the Binding structure threads apply, d. H. with mental omission the non-connecting structural threads then remain also only a scrim in this respect.
- a preferred embodiment is that in the in at least one fabric layer, the sections integrating there the binding structure threads and the non-connecting ones Structural threads a uniform and binding compliant Result in bond patterns.
- a group of binding structure threads a continuous one in the relevant fabric layer Structural thread corresponds to that with the weave pattern of non-connecting structural threads a uniform product appearance results.
- This has the advantage that the The surface of the fabric is structured accordingly is, therefore hardly reveals that in one plane two or more binding structure threads perpendicular to the surface alternate so that in the top view the impression of a single, continuous structure thread in Binding-compliant integration arises. If possible smooth surface is desired, as on the paper-bearing one Side of a paper machine screen or one Filter screen, it is understood that this type of Binding pattern on at least one outside as a fabric should be realized.
- the textile fabric according to the invention can in a manner known per se, all textile layers as fabric layers be trained.
- the textile layers there is also the possibility part of the textile layers as non-woven thread structures to design, especially as a scrim with intersecting structural threads.
- structural threads are very different Type can be used, for example monofilaments, Multifilaments, fiber yarns etc. You can too be combined with each other to prevail To bring out properties.
- the paper machine fabric 1 shown in the figures consists of an upper fabric layer 2 and a lower one Fabric layer 3.
- Longitudinal structure threads 4-14 shown that run in the machine direction (Arrow C) extend, d. H. in a Direction in which the paper machine fabric 1 after installation rotates in the paper machine.
- Cross to the Longitudinal structure threads 4-14 extend transverse structure threads 15-22, namely across the entire width of the section illustrated paper machine fabric 1.
- Die Longitudinal structure threads 4-14 and the transverse structure threads 15-22 are only integrated in the upper fabric layer 2.
- each two transverse structure threads 15-22 two a group or a pair of transverse tie structural threads, all exemplary designated 25, 26.
- the longitudinal binding structure threads 23, 24 and the cross-tie structural threads 25, 26 bind both in the upper fabric layer 2 and in the lower Fabric layer 3 a.
- the integration in the upper fabric layer 2 is made so that the longitudinal structure threads 4-14 and the transverse structure threads 15-22 only as a scrim are present when the longitudinal binding structure threads 23, 24 and the transverse binding structure threads 25, 26 are mentally removed become.
- the lower fabric layer 3 In the cutout that shows the lower fabric layer 3 the upper fabric layer 2 not shown to the lower To make fabric layer 3 recognizable. It is also the longitudinal and Cross tie structure threads 23, 24, 25, 26 omitted.
- the lower fabric layer 3 also consists of transverse structure threads - designated in Figure 1 with 27-30 - and from Longitudinal structural threads - designated 35-39 in Figure 1.
- Fig. 2 shows the course of a pair of longitudinal binding structure threads 23, 24 in the plane A-A according to FIG. 1 are of the fabric layers 2, 3 otherwise only the transverse structure threads 15-22 of the top layer 2 and the transverse structure threads 27-34 of the lower fabric layer 3 as well as the pairs of essentially superimposed cross-tie structural threads 25, 26 can be seen while the longitudinal structure threads 4-14 are omitted.
- the front longitudinal tie structure thread 23 (drawn solid) binds in the upper fabric layer 2 with two transverse structure threads 15-22 above and between two transverse structure threads 15-22 with a cross tie structural thread 26 below before dipped into the interior of the fabric and with a transverse structure thread 27-34 in the lower fabric layer 3.
- the longitudinal binding structure thread 24 lying behind it (drawn in dashed lines) binds in the same way as the longitudinal binding structure thread 23, but offset in such a way that the longitudinal binding structure thread 24 in the upper Fabric layer 2 integrates when the longitudinal binding structure thread 23 in the lower fabric layer 3.
- the longitudinal binding structure threads 23, 24 consequently intersect in the interior of the tissue. In this way, the sections of the Longitudinal binding structure threads 23, 24 in the respective fabric layer 2, 3 regularly.
- the change takes place in both fabric layers 2, 3 in such a way that in each fabric ply 2, 3 the one involved there Sections of the longitudinal binding structure threads 23, 24 add, so that there is no overlap of the sections and no gaps between sections either arise.
- the lined up course of the sections corresponds to the course of the adjacent longitudinal structure threads 13, 14, but in the manner of a plain weave in Longitudinal offset.
- the sections of the longitudinal binding structure threads 23, 24 are - as shown in FIG. 1 - conforming to the binding. That the sections are not one, but are formed by two longitudinal binding structure threads 23, 24, is only in the top view according to FIG easy to see cross sections of the sections and is illustrated by different hatching.
- the pair of cross-tie structural threads 25, 26 are essentially one above the other and cross itself inside the tissue.
- a cross-tie structural thread binds 25 or 26 with a longitudinal structure thread 35-45 in the lower fabric layer 3 and then goes through the interior of the fabric to the upper fabric layer 2 and binds there with two longitudinal structure threads 4-14 and in between with one Longitudinal binding structure thread 23, 24.
- the sections of the Cross-tie structure threads 25, 26 in the upper fabric layer 2 in such a way that the lined-up sections conform to the binding tie in with the transverse structure threads 15-22, in the top view according to FIG. 1, a product image is the same a plain weave is created. That the sections of two transverse binding structure threads 25, 26 are formed on the slight longitudinal displacements of the sections through different hatches.
