Definitions
- the invention relates to a ridge cover of an under ventilated roof.
- Sloping roofs with large-format, plate-shaped roofing must be off be ventilated due to building physical reasons.
- the following are some known ridge covers discussed in connection with the roofing the required Allow ventilation.
- Single-shell large-surface roof coverings are made static reasons profiled in the form of waves or trapezoidal. This results in the fall direction a greater bending stiffness and at the same time a canalization for the water to be discharged, which can be used for pile joints above, i. on the wave crest and thus outside the lower lying, water-bearing canal.
- variable Firsteindeckungen of several moldings are known.
- a half shell is in the immediate ridge area mounted with their opening facing down, regardless of the pitch of the roof is.
- moldings are made on both sides of the roof surface mounted, adapted on the one hand in the deeper area of the roof geometry and on the other hand with an upward slope the end cover the half-shell at a short distance.
- the wind is drained so that it does not bring snow or rain under the half shell can carry.
- the disadvantage of this design is the use of several items that are relatively expensive to produce and in addition to Items must be mounted.
- ridge covers made of individual, largely rigid Elements are made in the new inventive solution used a rubber elastic material that rolled in great lengths, can be stored, transported and mounted.
- the cross-section of the profile strip consists essentially of a roof-shaped element, because of Its elasticity is biased so that it is nearly vertical and parallel covering each other lying roof surfaces, whereas it is also open very flat sloping roofs adapts.
- the lower part has two symmetrical trained deformation bodies, which compress to different widths let and in the wedge-shaped joint between the end faces the plates can be pressed, the plates that make up the roof.
- a nose-like in each of these deformation bodies Grading formed below the lowest plate ends of the roofing engages and protects the profile strip against pulling upwards.
- This vertical web is relative to the cross section stiff designed to allow it to press from above when the profile bar is pressed in will, can not buckle. He should also be in connection with Unterund Upper part give a longitudinally relatively stiff cross-section, as the Gradations below, with groove-shaped plates only in one point and rest in the Range of wave crests, where essentially the deformation force of the upper Roof works, are free.
- the relatively stiff longitudinal cross-section must be different transmitted forces transmitted.
- WO 89/04408 A1 is also a non-generic cover profile for simultaneous holding and sealing of window glazing or filling elements known on building exterior.
- the profile strip has one with teeth provided foot. With these teeth, the profile bar in attached to a spacer which is attached to a basic profile strip, which attached to the building structure. On the opposite toothing End has the foot on both sides protruding sealing lips. The window glazings or filling elements are between these sealing lips and the basic profile strip attached and also sealed.
- the profile strip 1 which is shown in Fig. 1 in cross-section, has a middle Vertical web 2, which has a plurality of superimposed hollow chambers 3, 4 and 5. At its upper edge close on both sides downwards directed wings 6, which extend over the height of this vertical web 2. These wings 6 are longer than the height of the vertical web 2, with the lower ends of this Wing 6 overlap each other. The wings 6 are slightly bent, so that the Circumferential contour of the profile strip 1 is approximately egg-shaped. In the upper part of the vertical bar 2 are laterally projecting, with the respective inner sides of the wings. 6 connected support sections 7 are provided.
- Deformation sections 8 formed In the lower portion of the vertical web 2 are also in a symmetrical arrangement Deformation sections 8 formed, these have an outer, substantially upright boundary edge 9. This outer boundary edge 9 has an outer nose-like graduation 10, whose support or Investment edge is free upwards. These deformation sections are circumferentially closed here educated. Its height is about 1 ⁇ 4 of the height of the vertical web 2. These deformation sections 8 show a substantially rhombic Cross-section, wherein the laterally projecting from the vertical web 2, the deformation sections 8 forming legs 11, 12 at a shallow angle the horizontal are directed upward. The insides of the down extending wings 6 are applied to the deformation sections 8 and are of distanced them slightly.
- Fig. 2 now illustrates the intended use of the profile strip in Connection with a roof covering made of corrugated plates 13, wherein only the roof skin forming plates 13 are shown here, but not their Supporting structure.
- the wings 6 of the inserted between the plates 13 profile strip 1 lie on the tops of the corrugated plates 13.
- the deformation sections 8 are slightly compressed against the middle and lie the respective lower portions of the end faces 14 of the corrugated plates, such as this is clearly illustrated here. Since the plates have a wave-shaped cross-section have, the faces of these plates 13 lie on the gradation 10 in essential punctiform.
- the upper roof-shaped design of the profile bar directs rain and snow off the sides. Since they are for optical reasons, also for cost and manufacturing reasons if possible - seen in longitudinal section - be kept narrow and so that there are no too large overlaps of the plate ends, is a shock wave created that prevents rainwater or snow from flying over the plate ends, the inner end faces 14 to get inside. Since the water-bearing layer is always in the area of the valleys, it is enough here to get along with a relatively low shock wave, the end of the valley endmetall closes. This shock wave is here by the upper edge of the lower Deformation body formed by the underlying gradation exactly is positioned, this gradation slipping up under train prevented.
- the ventilation area is limited once by the cross section of the wave crest minus the shock wave and on the other hand by the distance between the End of the covering plates and the vertical web of the profile strip. For this Reason the profile web is kept relatively slim, so that the ventilation cross-section is great.
- the profile strip is integrally formed and made of rubber-elastic Material made. Thanks to the elastic deformability of the rubber-elastic Material is the profile strip on all conventional gable roofs usable regardless of their respective roof pitch.
