- the invention relates to a method for equalization the property cross profile of a running material web Paper or cardboard according to the preamble of claim 1.
- the invention relates to a for carrying out the Above method suitable paper machine according to the General term of the first device claim.
- a method is disclosed in DE 37 15 551 A1 to reduce the flutter of the web edges Paper web, as well as a paper machine for performing this Procedure known.
- a paper machine for performing this Procedure proposed in the edge region of the paper web to be produced a stock suspension with higher strength potential than in to use the remaining web width range.
- a stock suspension with higher strength potential than in to use the remaining web width range is proposed in the headbox additional lines are provided which are of higher quality Stock suspension in the side areas of the headbox respectively.
- Another object of the invention is a paper machine to carry out this method according to the invention To make available.
- the inventors have recognized that due to the different shrinkage behavior of the paper web the width also others, essential for a good one Paper quality necessary quality criteria, for example the surface roughness or the strength values etc., change across the width depending on the shrinkage cross profile. It is said to be by equalizing the Shrinkage behavior of the paper web not only that Shrinkage behavior itself, but also with it correlated property parameters of the paper via the entire web width can be evened out.
- the procedure is proposed to strengthen the Shrinkage of a sectional area due to increased Feeding fibers and / or other substances with increased Cause shrinkage tendency, or in another Embodiment in the "normal" mixture of the stock suspension Fibers and / or other substances with less Tendency to shrink due to fibers and / or fabrics with increased Tendency to replace shrinkage.
- the desired fibers are advantageously added and / or other shrinkage influencing substances in the Headbox.
- possible changes in basis weight caused by the metering of special fibers etc. could arise through a control mechanism in the known sectioned Headboxes with different material suspensions Concentration fed and controlled sectionally, can be compensated.
- this is cited State of the art details how the feed from stock suspension of different properties to Casserole carried out and the basis weight cross-section the material web can be kept even.
- the Procedure is used to achieve or obtain a desired cross section suggested that in the constant part the paper machine or board machine at least two Stock suspension flows with fibers with different Shrinkage behavior and / or with other shrinkage influencing substances are provided and in the area of the headbox by sectional mixing of at least two stock suspension streams with fibers different tendency to shrink, the shrinkage of the Material web is compensated across the machine width, while the basis weight cross profile and / or that Cross section of fiber orientation through sectional addition of White water flows are influenced so that the desired basis weight profiles are retained, or can be achieved.
- a special embodiment of the method set out above is that as fibers with increased Shrinkage behavior long fibers and as fibers with reduced shrinkage behavior, short fibers are used become.
- Another or also feasible variant is that as fibers with elevated Shrinkage behavior of highly digested fibers and as Low shrinkage fibers disrupted fibers are used.
- fibers whose shrinkage behavior due to a higher grinding is increased, or their Shrinkage behavior due to less grinding is lowered.
- CMC Carboxymethyl cellulose
- fibers respectively Fiber mixtures, the starting material of which is not wood - how for example plastic fibers - represents a possible one Variant.
- the inventors propose one Paper machine with a constant part, a headbox with at least one stock suspension feed from the Constant part, a wet section, a press section and to design a dryer section in such a way that the Constant part has at least two areas different material suspensions with fiber mixtures provide different shrinkage behavior that Stock suspension feeds from the constant part to the Headbox at least two strands for the at least two have different substance suspensions and in the range the headbox has a large number of sectional mixing points are provided, which the substance suspensions with different shrink properties.
- the different Fiber mixtures are made by either Fiber material with longer or shorter fibers is used and / or more or less disrupted fibers and / or more or less ground fibers and / or the Shrinkage influencing substances for the substance suspension be used. According to their processing and / or Structure and / or their starting material produce this Fibers a different shrinkage behavior, which can ultimately be used over the entire Web width a uniform shrinkage behavior of the To generate material web.
- Control method shown can be in the profile control algorithm a decoupling between the basis weight cross section and Shrinkage cross profile are performed so that the mutual influences of the cross section regulations at least be avoided in the first order.
- Figure 1 shows a typical shrink cross profile of paper webs.
- the edge areas B 1 and B 3 are characterized by high shrinkage gradients and high absolute values of the shrinkage ⁇ 2 .
- the shrinkage is at a relatively low level and is almost straight and horizontal.
- This course of shrinkage is typical for many types of paper, but there are also many other forms of cross-section shrinkage. These depend on many parameters, such as the type of paper and the design of the process steps in paper production - for example the drying process.
- cross-sectional shrinkage profiles with an asymmetrical course or with a non-linear course can also occur in the central region B 2 of the paper web.
- FIG. 2 shows a shrinkage cross profile 1 after the proportion of fibers with a smaller tendency to shrink has been increased in the edge regions B 1 and B 3 of the paper web - or - the proportion of fibers with a greater tendency to shrink has been reduced, while the composition of the stock suspension in the central region B 2 the paper web has remained unchanged.
- FIG. 3 shows an example of a headbox according to the dilution water principle for the application of the method according to the invention, as described for example in the above-mentioned DE 40 19 593.
- the suspension Q F is fed in front of the turbulence generator at several feed points 7, distributed over the headbox width.
- This suspension Q F contains fibers which differ in their shrinkage behavior from the fibers which are contained in the suspension Q H. For example, if the fibers in Q F have a lower tendency to shrink than those in Q H , the cross-sectional shrinkage profile 1 shown in FIG. 1 can be improved by increasing the sectional volume flow Q F at the edges.
- the feed points 7 for Q F can be distributed uniformly or non-uniformly - for example only at the edges - over the width of the headbox.
- the geometry of the feed for Q F can preferably be designed such that the sectional total volume flow at the outlet of the nozzle remains constant despite the variation of Q F.
- Such a design of a headbox is described in detail in DE 42 11 291.
- Cross distribution pipes or central distributors can be used to distribute the suspensions over the headbox width.
- FIG. 4 shows the initial area of a paper machine with a primary headbox 2, which applies stock suspension to a sieve 11.
- the screen 11 is deflected via rollers 12 and the dewatering of the stock suspension takes place in a known manner via dewatering elements 13, consisting of suction boxes and dewatering strips.
- a secondary headbox 2.1 is provided, by means of which the stock suspension Q F can be applied in sections metered over the machine width to the already existing stock suspension layer.
- FIG. 4a shows view A from FIG. 4, in which the secondary headbox 2.1 is shown.
- the secondary headbox has a transverse distributor 3.1, via which the stock suspension Q F is fed machine-wide to the first chamber 8.1 of the headbox.
- a plurality of valves 6 are interposed between the distributor 3.1 and the first chamber 8.1 of the headbox 2.1, which enables a metered supply of the suspension Q F which is sectioned over the machine width.
- a turbulence generator 9.1 and a subsequent nozzle 10.1 are shown in a known manner.
- FIG. 5 shows in a spatial representation the beginning of a four-wire paper machine with a headbox 2, to which the high and low consistent stock suspension streams Q H and Q L are fed.
- the headbox 2 distributes the stock suspension evenly over the screen 11.
- the screen 11 is deflected over a plurality of rollers 12 and then on the headbox 2 dewatering elements 13 are provided which dewater the fibrous layer lying on the screen 11.
- a spray pipe 17 running across the machine width.
- the spray pipe 17 has a plurality of spray nozzles 15 and 16, which are arranged here by way of example only to the edges of the paper web and thus only the edges of the paper web with the suspension Q F spray.
- the use of fibers or fiber mixtures, the starting material of which is not wood, such as plastic fibers, is also within the scope of the invention.
- FIG. 6 shows an exemplary shrinkage cross profile control on a paper machine.
- the Headbox 2 is an example here with one Known dilution water control to adjust the atro basis weight cross profile fitted. This points before the Trolley onto a machine-wide scanner that does the job atro / basis weight cross profile measures, a profile control algorithm feeds and the actuators, here N valves 7 of Dilution water supply with N sections, operated.
- this regulation is expanded by the actual profile the shrinkage (shrinkage cross profile) over a known online mapping is calculated and with a Target profile for the shrinkage is compared.
- the profile rule algorithm determines the necessary ones Corrections and influenced via the actuator positioner the actuators for influencing shrinkage, which are shown here in Form of control valves 7 in the M sections of the feed lines for the liquid that affects shrinkage are.
- the number of N sections of the dilution control and the M Sections of the shrinkage control are in the present Example the same, but can also be different fail.
- it can be advantageous to Sections for shrinkage regulation in the edge area are too fine subdivide than in the middle area of the paper web.
- FIG. 1 one possibility is shown in dashed lines in FIG the indirect measurement of the shrinkage cross profile Measuring a size shown with the shrinkage correlated.
- the Smoothness / surface roughness and / or the strength of the Paper web can be used.
- this can measured profile now directly and alone or in combination can be used with the calculated shrinkage profile. If both profiles are used for regulation, then by a corresponding direction an optimization of the Control mechanism to be performed.
