Definitions

  • the invention relates to a grate element for a system for thermal treatment of waste according to the generic term of claim 1.
  • the invention further relates to a Method for cooling a grate element according to the Preamble of claim 6.
  • a grate element a waste incineration plant known with which the Waste conveyed through a combustion chamber and thereby is dried and burned.
  • the grate element points several grate blocks arranged one behind the other in steps on, alternating between fixed and movable Grate blocks are arranged in succession. That on waste material located in the grate element, for example Garbage is made by a pushing movement of the moving Grate blocks pushed forward, mixed, dried and burned. To reduce the high thermal Each grate block is cooled with water.
  • the present invention is based on the object to form economically more advantageous grate element.
  • the task is further solved with a method for Cooling a grate element having the features of Claim 6.
  • the sub-claims 7 and 8 relate to further advantageous process steps.
  • a grate element comprising a plurality of in a longitudinal direction successively arranged grate blocks, which either as fixed grate blocks or in the longitudinal direction movable grate blocks are designed, each Rust block has a foot, which on the in The longitudinal direction of the subsequent grate block rests, whereby only the fixed grate blocks for cooling with a fluid are designed.
  • the fixed grate blocks have a cooled foot that has a contact surface trains which on the underlying, in Longitudinally movable grate block rests. This Contact area covers part of the surface of the movable grate block and thereby causes cooling the surface of the movable grate block.
  • the movable grate block also has a foot, which is on the surface of a chilled, fixed Rust block rests and back and forth in the longitudinal direction is moved and thereby cooled.
  • a fluid for cooling especially a liquid such as water.
  • the advantages achieved by the invention are to see in particular in the effective cooling, whereby Thermal stresses and thermal expansions in the grate block largely be eliminated. Because only the fixed So far, rust blocks are cooled required, movable fluid lines, which were necessary around the movable grate block in particular to supply water. Operation of the Rust elements according to the invention are therefore less prone to failure and less expensive. In addition, the Assembly and changing of the movable grate blocks simplified. The movable grate blocks also need no fluid conductive interiors and are therefore less expensive to produce.
  • FIG. 1 shows a grate element 3 as part of a grate for a plant for the thermal treatment of waste such as waste shown.
  • a rust track sits like a broken line indicated, in length from several grate elements 3 together. As a rule, three to six rust elements 3 arranged in a row.
  • several Grate tracks are placed side by side; usually one to four grate tracks form the width of the grate. The Number of grate elements 3 and the grate tracks depends on the predetermined throughput of the waste and of its Calorific value.
  • Each grate element 3 has in the illustrated Execution example eight in the longitudinal direction L in a row arranged grate blocks 4.5, each one fixed grate block 4 a movable grate block 5 follows. All grate blocks 4, 5 are at one end by one Block holder tube 7 pivotally mounted. The block holder tube 7 the fixed grate blocks 4 is on a stationary Console 8 attached, while the block holder tube 7 of movable grate blocks 5 on a in the longitudinal direction L linear movable console 9 is attached. All movable consoles 9 are on a in the longitudinal direction L back and forth movable grate carriage 10 attached, which via rollers 12 on a carrier 13 of the grate element 3 is stored.
  • This movement in the longitudinal direction L causes essentially a movement of the movable grate blocks 5 in Direction of movement L1, with all grate blocks also one slight pivoting movement around the respective block holding tube 7 To run.
  • In the direction perpendicular to the display plane can have a plurality of rust blocks 4.5 next to each other be arranged, which are mutually connected via a pull rod 14 are tense.
  • the formed by the grate blocks 4.5 The conveyor line is laterally through a side termination 15 limited.
  • FIG. 2 shows a bottom view from the P direction Embodiment of a cooled, fixed Grate blocks 4.
  • Fig. 3 shows the same grate block 4 as Cross section along the line A-A.
  • the grate block 4 has a block body 20 of a U-shaped Cross-section, the top wall of which is 23 is designated.
  • the outer surface of the upper wall 23 forms a usable area 33 on which the waste to be treated comes to rest and along which it transports becomes.
  • a rear wall 21 of the block body 20 is included provided a hook 22 for hanging on the block holder tube 7. Between the top wall 23 and a front wall 24 there is a corner 25.
  • the grate block 4 with an inclined floor 28 and a foot 26 with a Support surface 26a provided.
  • Water supply line 30 with the water supply direction is indicated by an arrow W1.
  • Parallel to the back wall 21 extends to the water supply line 30 connected water supply cross line 31, which on individual points is provided with outlet openings 32.
  • From the water supply cross line 31 branch three along arranged water supply branch lines 34 from the extend to the front wall 24 and there are so angled that their outlet opening 35 is immediately in front of the foot 26. That from the Outlet opening 35 fills water together with the water emerging from the outlet openings 32 closed cold room 27, both of these Counteract water currents in a certain sense and for a good water mixing or for a reinforced one Provide cooling effect. It is important that the particularly mechanically stressed point of the Rust blocks 4, namely the foot 26, directly with the Cooling water is applied.
  • the highest temperatures and therefore the highest thermal stress is the front corner 25 exposed.
  • Inlet openings 41 from two water discharge branch lines 40 attached. Entry from heated water in the water discharge branch pipes 40 is indicated by an arrow W4.
  • the water drainage branch lines 40 extend obliquely along of the bottom 28 and open into a parallel to the Water supply cross line 31 arranged opposite this lower water drainage cross line 42. From there the heated water is discharged by means of a discharge line 43 in Directed by an arrow W5 out of the cooling space 27.
  • the water supply line 30 and the water discharge line 43 are on in a manner not shown Cold water low pressure system connected. A connection to a closed cooling water system with a built-in heat exchanger is preferred.
