Definitions
- the invention relates to a roll winding device two carrier rollers that hold a changing bed for one Form winding roll, and with a compressed air support device, which has a pressure chamber arrangement, the side of the support rollers and the bottom of a sealing body is limited, with on both ends End walls are arranged.
- Such a roll winding device is from DE 195 24 905 A1 known.
- the invention is intended to be exemplified below with reference to Paper rolls are described. But it is not open limited this application.
- paper webs usually cut to the correct width and then wound up in rolls before packed and shipped.
- the winding cores on in contrast which the paper rolls are wound up to those used during paper production Drums only a relatively low stiffness and Load capacity. They are often designed as cardboard tubes. This causes the paper rolls to wrap usually supported by support rollers. This is particularly pronounced when the Winding device is designed as a support roller winder. Here the roll rests on carrier rollers without additional Attack holding forces on the core. But also with a backup roller roller with additional holding means attack the roll core, there is a support on a roller. When the paper rolls are bigger and heavier the support line forces of the paper roll on the roller or rollers relatively large, which is the disadvantage has that the winding hardness is increased. This can cause the roll to burst later. To relieve the rollers and reduce the line force can a pneumatic pressure below the Role are generated so that the role is at least partially resting on an air cushion.
- the invention has for its object the air consumption to lower.
- This task is done with a roll winding device of the type mentioned in that at least an end wall movable parallel to the support rollers is.
- the sealing body beneath the idler rollers is in most cases as Air box designed, i.e. he doesn't just have one Base plate on, but also side walls that the Continue carrying rollers down, so to speak. Such Design allows some leadership of the sliding sidewall. But it is also possible form the sealing body as a simple plate, if one the sliding front wall on this plate or can lead in other ways.
- the pressure chamber arrangement preferably has two fixed ones End walls, between which the at least one movable End wall is arranged.
- the two fixed End walls give the pressure chamber arrangement a certain Stability. They don't just limit the movement of the movable end wall so that it is not accidentally can be moved out of the pressure chamber arrangement. They can also be used to support drive parts of the movable front wall can be used and limit additional axial pressure losses of the pressure chamber arrangement.
- the fixed end walls are preferably on the end faces the sealing body arranged. You can use it, so to speak use a conventional air box that over the entire axial length of the roll winding device, i.e. over practically the entire axial length the support rollers. In such an air box then movable end walls can be used.
- At least two movable end walls are advantageous provided the opposite direction relative to the axial center the sealing chamber arrangement are movable. So you can always a symmetrical positioning of the winding roll or a "stack" of winding rolls on the support rollers achieve and still take advantage of a customized Pressure chamber to support the compressed air Achieve winding rolls.
- An air supply connection is preferably in the region of the provided axial center of the pressure chamber arrangement. At the symmetrical adjustability of the two end walls This ensures that the air is always in the area fed between the two movable end walls can be. Complicated tax measures can then omitted.
- air supply connections open into the Pressure chamber arrangement at least some of which can be locked are.
- Several air supply connections have the Advantage that the supplied air has a lower flow resistance is opposed.
- the air can distribute faster in the pressure chamber, whereby Cross flows in the pressure chamber can be kept small can.
- the air losses can still be kept small because the unused air supply connections can be closed.
- the air is then only through such air supply connections supplied in an area open, which is covered by the winding roll.
- the closable Air supply connections from a movable end wall or a device controlling the end wall can be actuated are. If the movable end wall on one the air supply connections pass by, then it opens the air supply port when moving in one direction and locks it when moving into the other Direction.
- the adjustability is automated. The operator or the operating device does not have to more ensure that the air supply connections that are not required be switched off. This happens automatically when positioning the movable end wall or the end walls.
- the moveable front wall carries it with advantage Top of a sealing shield, which is arranged in the changing bed is.
- This configuration has two advantages. On the one hand this results in a positioning aid for Setting the correct position of the movable Bulkhead with respect to the winding roll. An operator can see with the naked eye where the moving End wall is located. This is indicated by the seal plate. The operator only has to seal up to in the immediate vicinity of the end of the winding roll move to position the movable bulkhead so that the pressure chamber has the correct axial extension having.
- the sealing shield seals the end of the roll, so that here the air consumption stays small. Sealing is also carried out here of course not hermetic, because the winding roll must turn when winding. The sealing shield keeps the losses but within limits.
- the compressed air support is usually only with larger reel diameters required. Such a diameter is in the Order of magnitude of 800 mm. But it is among other things from the specific properties of the material web to be wound, for example the paper web.
- a sensor is advantageously arranged on the sealing plate, who reacts to a winding roll. Such a sensor gives information about whether the Sealing shield close enough to the end of the winding roll or if it is further away.
- the Sensor can work at touch level or it can work without contact and designed as a proximity sensor his.
- the sensor with a Front wall drive device is connected. In this Fall can position the end wall automatically respectively.
- the drive moves the front wall for so long axially towards the end of the winding roll, until the sensor reports a sufficient approach.
- a winding device 1 has two support rollers 2, 3 on, which form a winding bed 4 in which a paper roll 5 lies on which a paper web 6 is wound becomes.
- the paper web 6 is here on a core 7, which can be designed as a winding tube made of cardboard, wound up.
- To drive the paper roll 5 are the two support rollers 2, 3 driven.
- the air box 8 is in the present case as a U-shaped profile formed with a bottom 9 and two side walls 10, 11.
- the side walls 10, 11 close to the support rollers 2, 3, possibly with the formation of a small gap to ensure smooth rotation of the To enable support roller 2, 3.
- Based on the view 1 is a pressure chamber arrangement below from the bottom 9 of the air box 8, laterally from the side walls 10, 11 and the support rollers 2, 3 and above of the Wrapped in paper roll 5.
- the paper roll extends 5 but not over the entire axial length of the Air box 8. Rather, it is somewhat shorter axially. It it is understood that a paper roll instead of the illustrated 5 also a series of axially one behind the other and adjacent paper rolls on the support rollers 2, 3 can rest.
- the air box 8 has on its two end faces each. a fixed end wall 12, 13.
- the space between the two fixed end walls 12, 13 is called a "pressure chamber arrangement" designated.
- End walls 14, 15 are provided, each in the direction a double arrow 16, 17 parallel to the support rollers 2, 3 are displaceable.
- a drive 18 is shown, for example, via a Rod 19 can act on the end wall 14.
- a corresponding one Drive can also be used for the other end wall 15 may be provided.
- the drive or drives 18 should be controlled in this way be that the two movable faces 14, 15 move in opposite directions and thus symmetrically an axial center of the not shown Winding device 1 remain.
- Each movable end wall 14, 15 is through the gap performed between the two support rollers 2, 3 and has a sealing plate 20, 21 at its upper end on.
- This sealing plate 20, 21 forms with the paper roll 5 a small gap.
- a full-area system of the sealing plate 20, 21 on the end face of the paper roll 5 is usually not possible because the Paper roll 5 should rotate in operation to the paper web 6 wind up. Nevertheless, with the help of the sealing shields 20, 21 achieved a relatively good seal, the air losses so kept within limits.
- each of the sealing plates 20, 21 Sensor 22, 23, which is designed as a proximity sensor is and emits a signal when the sealing plate 20, 21 up to a predetermined distance, for example 0.5 mm or 1 mm on the front of the paper roll 5 has approximated.
- the sensor 22 a signal to the drive 18, which then stops the end wall 14 further towards the paper roll 5 to move.
- a series of air supply connections 26-28 are provided.
- the axial Air supply connections 27, 28 located further outside but with the help of a valve or simply a flap lockable.
- the valve that is not shown is, an actuator 29, the the valve closes when the movable end wall is in goes in one direction and it opens when the movable end wall in the other direction above it drives away. This is based on the different Positions of the actuators 29 for the air supply connections 27 and 28 recognizable. Would you be the agile End walls 14, 15 still further in the direction of move the axial center, then the air supply connections would also 27 be closed.
- the winding device 1 works as follows: An empty one Winding sleeve 7 is placed in the winding bed 4 and driven by rotation of the two support rollers 2, 3. A pressure device, not shown, presses the winding tube 7 with a certain force on the support rollers 2, 3 to just at the beginning of the winding process to achieve a higher winding hardness. By the rotation the winding tube 7, the paper web 6 is wound up.
- the winding tube 7 is not closer by shown, but known per se means in the axial direction held to a migration in the axial direction to prevent.
