Definitions
- the invention relates to a support roller winding machine for winding a material web, in particular a paper or cardboard web on sleeves, according to the preamble of claim 1.
- Carrier roll winding machines are known to be used in the paper and board industry used for the production of winding rolls. They show as slitter rewinder a slitter for dividing the web into individual webs from which Winding rolls are made that are axially aligned on the two when winding Support rollers lie on.
- support roller winding machines as Rewinder or known as so-called roller doctors, with which already manufactured Coiled reels are rewound, i.e. rewound, in order to avoid reel errors, glued spots etc. remove.
- WO 92/03366 is a carrier roll winding machine working as a slitter winder known, in which of the support rollers and the winding rollers limited space by means of compressed air an excess pressure is generated.
- the overpressure reduced the support weight and thus the line load on the two support lines of the winding rolls on the support rollers, of which the winding hardness of a winding roll is decisive being affected.
- winding rolls can also be used wind very large diameter (more than 800 mm) with very good winding quality.
- For Generation of the overpressure is in the area of the lower gusset between the Carrier rollers an air box, the compressed air from below through the gap between the Carrier rollers feeds.
- the seal in the area of the two lateral ends of the Carrier rolls are carried out axially from the outside against the end faces of the outer winding rolls sliding sealing elements that at least the cross-sectional area of the upper Seal the gusset between the two support rollers.
- the invention has for its object a generic support roller winding machine to improve so that they also have only one winding roll for winding Small roll width is suitable, as z. B. is required when used as a rewinder.
- the support roller winding machine has two driven support rollers 1, 2 which the winding rollers 3 rest on during winding.
- the support rollers 1, 2 are supported in a frame on the ground, the parts 4, 5 designed and are arranged that at least the space below the support rollers 1, 2 between the Vertical through whose axes remains free.
- the web 6 is preferably deflected from the winding stations by the support roller 1 from below fed through the gap between the support rollers 1, 2.
- the support roller 1 When used as a slitter winder it is arranged in front of the inlet-side support roller 1 Slitter has been divided into individual webs that are axially aligned lined up sleeves are wound up.
- each support roller 1, 2 is approximately in the area of the vertical plane through the each axis arranged a transverse sealing element 7, 8, which is transverse to Web running direction at least over the length of the support rollers 1, 2 and vertically from Bottom area extends to the underside of the respective support roller 1, 2.
- Prefers are the transverse sealing elements 7, 8 articulated on a base plate 9 so that they from the respective support roller 1, 2 can be folded outwards, for. B. around the web 6th or to clear a paper jam.
- the top edges of the cross sealing elements 7, 8 are designed as sealing strips 10, which are connected to the respective support roller 1, 2 seal sufficiently without friction; e.g. B. by leaving a small gap that only causes low compressed air losses.
- each transverse sealing element 11 is shaped that there is both the free cross-sectional area between the transverse sealing elements 7, 8, the Base plate 9 (or the floor) and the support rollers 1, 2, as well as the free cross-sectional area seals between the support rollers 1, 2 and the winding roll 3.
- the sealing element 11 of the free cross-sectional area formed between the support rollers 1, 2 adapted so that it between the support rollers 1, 2 can be moved against the outer end face of a winding roll 3.
- the sealing elements 11 are preferably parallel to the support rollers on the base plate 9 1, 2 attached linear guides 12, 13 guided precisely. Your vertical side edges lie against the folded up transverse sealing elements 7, 8 and thus support them in their folded up working position. Pushing the front sealing elements 11 in its working position on the winding rollers is carried out by means of a spindle drive, the Motor 14 with such a large distance from the support rollers 1, 2 outside the working width is arranged that the sealing element 11 can be moved to the side that it in the rest position shown in Figure 3 outside the frame 5 of the machine located. In this position it is outside the range of motion of one on each side of the machine arranged guide head 15.
- the guide heads 15 are on known manner by means of a piston-cylinder unit 16 vertically movable on a Stand 17 of the frame 5 stored. You can by means of a drive 21 horizontally in the Sleeves of the winding rollers 3 are retracted to hold them while winding.
- this is Frame 4, 5 designed open in this area. It has a sufficiently large opening through which the sealing element 11 can be moved.
- Each sealing element 11 can be moved inwards to the center of the machine so that they are also very narrow, in of the machine center wound winding rollers 3 can seal on their end faces.
- the spindle 19 of the spindle drive for the end sealing elements 11 extends with sufficient distance from the base plate 9 below the support rollers 1, 2 parallel to this. It is corresponding on the side of the machine facing away from the spindle motor 14 stored and moves the end sealing element on the other Machine side.
- a spindle nut 20 is located in each end sealing element 11 fitted through which the spindle 19 is guided.
- the end sealing elements 11 move to outside of the frame 17 of the machine is not possible, the end sealing elements 11 in two parts from a lower part mounted on the floor or the base plate and one attached to it hinged to the outside attached upper part.
- the division into the Both parts are preferably carried out in such a way that the folding joint is at the narrowest level Place between the support rollers 1, 2.
- they need end sealing elements for retracting the guide heads 15 at the beginning of Winding can only be moved into the area outside the support rollers 1, 2, then the upper part is folded outwards to the range of movement to clear the guide heads 15.
- the positioning of the end sealing elements 11 in their sealing position on the outer end faces of the winding roll 3 is preferably carried out by means of a displacement measuring device, whose measured values serve as a control variable for the spindle motor 14. If longitudinal knife to trim the web edges, the target position of the Simply set the sealing elements 11 via their working position, since the position of the Longitudinal knife then corresponds to the sealing position of the sealing elements 11.
- the supply of compressed air into the space below the winding roll 3 is preferably carried out by one of the transverse sealing elements 7, 8.
- several air connections over the working width are preferred distributed connected to corresponding bores in the transverse sealing element 7, 8.
- the Connections outside the range of the minimum winding roll width can be deactivated or locked. In operation, compressed air is only supplied via the Connections supplied, which are in the area between the two sealing elements 11 in whose working position, that is, in the area of the winding roll 3.
- the winding machine works in the same way as in WO 92/03366.
- the guide heads 15 are inserted into the sleeve and hold the Winding roll 3 ( Figure 3).
- the sealing elements 7, 8, 11 are in brought their working position.
- the end sealing elements 11 are in the axial direction the support rollers 1, 2 towards the machine center against the outer end faces of the Winding roller 3 moves to together with the folded up sealing elements 7, 8th to seal the space below the support rollers 1, 2.
- the winding roll 3 approaches the maximum permissible value, e.g. B. with a winding roll diameter of approx. 800 mm, is in the of the support rollers 1, 2, the winding roll 3rd and the sealing elements 7, 8, 11 limited space compressed air introduced until under the winding roll 3 has built up such a high pressure that the bearing weight of the Winding roll 3 is reduced from the desired size.
- the maximum permissible value e.g. B. with a winding roll diameter of approx. 800 mm
