Definitions
- the present invention relates to a coating system in particular of hard-to-access bodies, such as radiators in the installed state according to the preamble of claim 1, and on the application of this system to the Introduce heavy or pasty masses places that are difficult to access, such as building penetrations, according to the generic term of Claim 7.
- a variety of devices such as radiators or pipe systems From time to time industrial plants have to be on their outside with a new one Coating, such as a new paint.
- This varnish can have an optical, but also a corrosion-inhibiting function, for example.
- the mentioned devices have in common that they are in a corresponding system installed condition are generally only accessible from one side. Access from the other side is, for example, with built-in radiators by one in one wall or industrial plants containing pipe systems blocked by other machine components.
- a new coating of the above Devices have been a problem for a long time.
- radiators It is known to re-coat radiators from the heating system and from the dismantle the adjacent wall and then re-coat.
- the coating can be in this case, for example, by an immersion bath or by a spraying device.
- radiators for example in the course of Apartment renovations regularly repainted, that is, have to be repainted.
- the installation and removal of radiators in apartments to be renovated provides that further problem that when installing and removing, for example, the parquet or Carpet near the radiator is not leaking from the liquid removed radiator may be affected.
- the re-coating, for example, of the radiator installed condition, d. H. for example, can be mounted on a wall.
- spraying it is also a problem with spraying that the spray mist created during spraying is a cause of contamination for the represents surrounding wall and floor surfaces and moreover especially for the Artisans is anything but health-promoting.
- This system according to the invention is to be applied heavy or pasty masses easily adaptable if one Pressure application device is provided. Thus one according to the invention trained system can also be applied to such masses.
- a method for coating in particular of Radiators are carried out in which a coating liquid is depressurized on one coating body is applied.
- the pressure-free application of the Coating liquid is gushing so that the Coating liquid with an excess is applied to the body.
- the Excess coating liquid draining from the body to be coated is then collected, suctioned off and returned.
- the vacuumed Coating liquid is fed into a reservoir by a suction pump recycled. From the storage container it can then (again) by means of a Feed pump are led to the flood gun.
- a coating tube with a length and / or an inner diameter is used be selected depending on the shape of the body to be coated will become.
- the radiator to be coated in the A coating tube can have a particularly large dimension can be inserted into the flood gun with a large length.
- Coating liquid can be solvent-based paint or an acrylic-based paint be used.
- the coating tube can consist of several coating tubes different lengths, with different shape and / or different Inner diameter must be selected, the type of the one to be selected Coating tube depends on the shape of the body to be coated.
- a flexible coating tube in the manner of a hose can also be provided.
- the coating system according to the invention thus knows compared to conventional ones Coating systems, especially for installed radiators and other difficult to access bodies when installed, the advantage of that a surface of the body to be coated without contamination, without large Time required and environmentally friendly can be re-coated with high quality.
- the system according to the invention is also suitable for application to the introduction heavy or pasty masses in hard to reach places like at Building throughs.
- a storage container for the mass is provided as well as one Pressure exerting device for exerting pressure on the mass in order for it to To promote the end of the delivery line.
- the pressure application device can one by a self-priming pump at the outlet of the storage container and to another by a prestressed pressure element in the storage container be educated. Both types of pressure application device are expediently provided. If the self-priming pump is provided, the return is expediently carried out against the effect of the prestressing of the pressure element, if this is in the storage container is provided.
- Providing a flood gun based on the common starting point can therefore Safe, pollution-free and environmentally friendly even with viscous or pasty masses This mass can be introduced at the desired location, especially in Building penetrations, in particular the void-free insertion at all desired places is ensured, which is significant for fire protection materials Meaning is.
- both embodiments of the invention are compatible can be designed to each other such that the reservoir of the Coating system with a pressure element if required, i.e. replaceable, is retrofittable and that the feed pump for the coating liquid simply against a suction pump for the viscous or pasty mass is interchangeable. Then can both with a single collaborative system on a construction site Radiators and other hard-to-reach tensile elements coated when installed are, as well, in the meantime or in succession, fillers and fire protection materials brought to the designated places or applied to the body there become.
- FIG. 1 a so-called 3 is shown schematically in the sense of a block diagram Flood gun shown.
- a flood gun is a device that by means of a Feed line 12 is supplied with a liquid so that this supplied liquid can be applied.
- the pressure on the input side of the flood gun 3 is so dimensioned so that it is just sufficient, the liquid on the outlet side 11 of the flood gun 3rd to let out.
- FIG. 3 As shown in FIG Coating liquid applied to a radiator 10.
- the coating liquid in the present case paint or varnish is from the Flood gun 3 applied torrentially or gushingly. This means that on the surface of the radiator 10 paint or varnish is applied in excess, so that a part 23rd the paint or varnish applied to the underside of the surface to be coated Radiator 10 drips and in a sump 5, which is below the radiator 10 is arranged, can be collected. So it becomes a continuous stream of Coating liquid generated on the surface of the radiator 10. A qualitatiy high-quality coating of the surface of the radiator 10 is achieved by the Coating liquid in excess on the surface for a certain period of time of the radiator 10 to be coated is given, and thus over a certain Period a flooding of the surface of the radiator 10 is carried out.
- the heater 10 can thus in the installed state means when installed in the heating system and on the corresponding wall be coated without any danger to the user or the surrounding surfaces consists. Due to the surface tension of the coating liquid flooding of the coating liquid from above the radiator areas of the surface of the radiator 10 facing downward are sufficiently coated, that is, the coating liquid draws itself up due to its surface tension these downward facing areas.
- Figure 1 it is shown that a first rib of the Radiator 10 is coated. If after a period of flooding Overflow of the first rib of the radiator 10 by the coating liquid first rib of the radiator 10 is coated satisfactorily, the flood gun 3 in Direction of the second rib of the radiator 10 are moved to this too coating, etc.
- the Indian Collection pan 5 located part 23 of the coating liquid is over a Suction line 19 sucked off by means of a return pump 4, which is carried out by an electric motor 6 is driven with controller 7.
- the return pump 4 sucks the part 23 of the Coating liquid from the drip pan 5 with the suction line (return line) 19 back into a storage container 1.
- the storage container 1 can be, for example usual paint container with a volume of 10 liters, for example. Its volume is like that dimensioned that sufficient buffering of the coating liquid for the entire Circulation is present.
- Feed line 12 is then fed back to the flood gun 3.
- the feed pump 2 is also driven by an electric motor 6 and by a controller 7.
- the engine 6 for the The suction pump 4 and the motor 6 for the feed pump 2 can be independent can be switched separately, so that the return pump 4 and the Feed pump 2 can be operated independently of one another.
- the motors 6 including their controls 7, the Feed pump 2, the suction pump 4 and the reservoir 1 on a base frame 9 be attached, which is provided with wheels 8 so that it is mobile.
- the coating system according to the invention can thus coat radiators 10 on site need not be removed for coating.
- the circuit-like guidance of the feed liquid is particularly good see.
- the recirculated part 23 of the coating liquid from the Sump 5 can be returned to the flood gun 3.
- the only requirement is that in this circuit with direct recirculation there is always enough coating liquid in the Circuit is present so that. sufficient heating of the radiator 10 is guaranteed.
- the buffering can be done by the volume of the drip pan 5 be formed. This possibility of direct return of the coating liquid from the drip pan 5 is shown in dashed lines in Fig. 2 and designated 24.
- a flood gun 3 which in the System and method according to the invention for coating in particular Radiators can be used.
- the flood gun 3 becomes a liquid via the feed line 12 fed.
- the flood gun has a handle 13, the more or less is ergonomically designed so that the fingers of the user's hand holding the flood gun 3 holds, a pistol-like valve handle 14 may include. If this valve handle 14 in A valve 15 is opened in the direction of the handle 13. So if by Actuation of the valve handle 14, the valve 15 is open, can be done through the supply line 12 supplied coating liquid at the downstream end 11 of the flood gun 3 escape. As already explained at the beginning, the Total length of the drip pan 5 the length of the radiator 10 to be coated be adjusted.
- the extension pan 18 can be completely in the Base pan 17 can be retracted. The extension pan 18 is so in the Basic pan retractable so that no coating liquid can escape to the outside.
- the coating system according to the invention can be used to coat radiators advantageously with a solvent-based radiator paint or Radiator paint can be operated on an acrylic basis.
- a coating system and a coating method created especially for radiators, by the new surfaces to be coated Body without dirt expenditure with little time expenditure because of not required expansion of the body to be coated and coated in an environmentally friendly manner can be.
- Surrounding areas during the invention Coating process not dirty.
- Coating liquid at the downstream end 11 of the flood gun 3 practically without pressure.
- a thread 16 with a seal namely provided a sealing ring 25.
- a particular advantage of the invention is that that is screwed onto the thread 16 of one of several coating tubes 20, 26 can be, the replacement of a coating tube 20, 26 even during the Operation of the coating system according to the invention can take place.
- the different screw-on coating tubes 20, 26 differ in their shape. That is, to make inaccessible places on the surface of the body to be coated coat, the coating tubes can be straight as shown in Fig. 3, but also be curved or kinked.
- the different coating tubes differ still in length and in their inner diameter. That designated in Fig.
- Coating tube is particularly long and has a small inside diameter. Due to the special length of the coating tube 11 can also of Access side of the radiator 10 to be coated remote areas of the Radiator 10 are coated. Due to the small inner diameter of the Coating tube 11 becomes the coating liquid at a relatively low rate applied. In contrast, that which is provided with the reference symbol 20 is shown in FIG. 3 Coating tube characterized in that it is relatively short and one has a large inner diameter. This coating tube 20 is therefore due to its short length rather for coating the area of the surface of the radiator 10 suitable, which face the access side of the radiator 10. Because of his im On the other hand, compared to the coating tube 26 of larger inner diameter is one Coating with the coating tube 20 attached is a coating with an enlarged Coating liquid flow rate possible.
- FIG. 4 shows a particularly advantageous embodiment of the collecting trough 5.
- the sump 5 consists of a Base pan 17 and an extension pan 18.
- the extension pan 18 is included slidable in the base pan 17.
- the basic idea recognizable from the previous description is also suitable for the Introducing or applying heavy or pasty masses to heavy accessible places, such as in building openings.
- FIG. 6 schematically shows such an arrangement consisting of a building ceiling 40, for example made of concrete, and a building wall 41, for example a goat masonry.
- the building ceiling 40 has an opening or a passage 42 on, in which cables and lines 43, as far as shown schematically in Fig. 6, relocated are.
- the bushing 42 is as complete as possible with no cavities fill viscous (low-viscosity) or pasty mass. It can be a so-called putty or a fire protection material such as Pyroplast-C.
- This mass can now by means of a dispensing device in the manner of a flood gun 3, as has been explained above in particular with reference to FIG. 3. This is explained in more detail using the system shown in FIG. 5.
- a storage container 29 there is first the viscous or pasty mass 37 filled.
- a pressure element 31 formed by a plate is then inserted into the Storage container 29 placed on the mass 37.
- the crowd 37 facing away from this pressure element 31 carries a biasing element 32 that is preferably formed by one or more springs.
- the lid 30 of the reservoir 29 closed, for example by swiveling around Hinge, and locked, for example by engaging a closure member 36 on Storage container 29 into a hook 35 on the lid 30.
- By closing the lid 30 is pressure against the biasing element 32 and thus on the pressure element on the Mass 37 exercised, which in this way pressed out of the reservoir 29 and is inevitably conveyed via a line 38 to the flood gun 3.
- the mass 37 is then preferred over the Coating tube 34 formed in the manner of a flexible hose and a Application 39 of the coating tube 34 applied.
- the mass can be lossless and cavity-free, even in difficult to access bushings 42 become. This is a complete completion of both the implementation 42 and one complete coating of the cables and lines 43 ensured, which in particular cables and wires to be provided with fire protection materials or with Bushings 42 to be filled in are essential is.
- the promotion of the mass can also be achieved in that in the application line 38 a suction pump 27 driven by a motor 28 is provided. if the Flood gun 3 contains an actuatable valve, a return line 33 is to be provided mass 37 conveyed by the suction pump 27 when closed or to be able to return partially closed valve into the reservoir 29. Since that under Biasing pressure element 31 and the driven pump 27 also together can be provided, it is expedient in such cases, the return line 33 to into the mass 37 in the storage container 29, that is, to pass the pressure element 31, which is shown schematically in Fig. 5.
- FIG. 5 can expediently also on a wheel 8th provided base frame 9 may be provided, such as that with reference to FIGS. 1 and 2 is explained. 5 can be provided on the same base frame 9 be like the system of FIGS. 1 and 2.
