Definitions

  • the present invention relates to a closure device for a door, in particular with a double leaf comprising a lock provided with a latch bolt.
  • the latch bolt is actuated by a handle via a nut.
  • These devices have disadvantages. Indeed, a disadvantage is that a door provided with a closure device of this type can not close by folding the door on which it is mounted, but it requires an actuation of the handle to allow its closure. This can be inconvenient for the user, especially when it is loaded or unable to easily operate the handle for any reason.
  • Another type of known device comprises a casing comprising a pallet, to which a headrest is attached, and a closing mechanism, the casing being closed by a cover which is screwed on the pallet.
  • the housing is provided to house a safety lock arranged to actuate a lockable deadbolt by a locking member.
  • a disadvantage here lies in the location of the locking member causing a certain size compared to the deadbolt.
  • Another disadvantage lies in the location of the return means. These are generally located so as to occupy a certain clean space which must be taken into account for the dimensioning of the housing. This is particularly the case when the return means are wound around the latch bolt. This provision of the return means can also expose them to an external disturbance.
  • a further disadvantage lies in the fact that the lid is removable thus allowing relatively easy access for an unauthorized person to the contents of the housing, that is to say to the closing mechanism, which is made possible by the disassembly of the lid of the lock box. This poses a serious problem from the point of view of the safety of the closure device.
  • the closure device according to the present invention aims to overcome the aforementioned drawbacks.
  • the latch bolt is made retractable with slamming of the door, so without manipulation of the handle.
  • the latch bolt has a stepped profiled leading end, preferably between 30 ° and 60 °, more preferably between 40 ° and 50 °, the bevel being oriented laterally towards this side which facilitates easier retraction of the latch bolt.
  • said adjusting means is formed by a projecting element attached to the lateral surface of the latch bolt.
  • This construction considerably reduces the lateral size of the closure mechanism in the direction of the axes of rotation of the handles. Furthermore, the space due to the return latch bolt is eliminated, since it is housed in the control member thereof. In addition, this arrangement provides effective protection of the biasing means against an external disturbance.
  • An adjustment possibility for the latch bolt is provided by the appropriate adaptation of the number of openings in the latch bolt. This allows an initial shift and adjustment of the respective rest positions of the latch bolt and the wheel according to the transverse dimensions of the support tube.
  • an additional return means cooperating directly with the latch bolt so that it can be brought out and retracted independently of the lug and the door handle.
  • the arrangement defined in claim 13, and more particularly in claim 14, is very advantageously compact while ensuring efficient and safe operation of the locking member by its guided arrangement between the deadbolt and the support plate.
  • the aforementioned locking member is of very simple construction while providing extremely effective locking of the deadbolt.
  • the measurement defined according to claim 17 makes it possible to combine the first and second return means in a single means having two functions, which makes the mounting substantially simpler and can further greatly reduce the size by the elastic return means.
  • the first and second aforementioned engagement means are each formed by a notch and a complementary projection for forming a tenon-mortise connection. The above is obtained with the measure defined in claim 19.
  • the lock housing With the measurement defined in claim 20 and thanks to the integrated structure of the lock housing, in which the cover and the batten are integral body with each other, the lock housing is virtually tamper-proof and the safety of the device of closing is considerably strengthened.
  • the present invention generally relates to a closure device, in particular for a door, with a lock.
  • the closure device described applies in particular to any type of opening, such as gate, barrier, pivoting door provided with a tubular shaped side side as in the example described below and of any size whatsoever.
  • Figure 1 is illustrated the lock device which comprises a housing 10 in which is housed the lock 8 with a pallet on which is fixed a lid.
  • the housing 10 is provided to house a lock mechanism for controlling at least one bolt, as illustrated in FIG. 3.
  • a mechanism for controlling a latch bolt 21 and a latch dead bolt 22 each having an elongate shape is described.
  • the exemplary structure of the mechanism described below allows the transformation of a rotational movement of a control member 65 which is driven by a handle 2, in a translation movement of the bolt.
  • Each bolt 21, 22 is intended to engage in the aforementioned tubular profile 19 under the action of a respective actuating member.
  • the actuator member of the latch bolt 21 is constituted by a handle 2 provided on either side of the door and the actuating member of the dead bolt 22 by a key 1, for example introduced into a safety lock 8.
  • FIG. 21 illustrates an alternative operation in which the drive is carried out by the action of the user directly by rotation of a key in the lock without handle.
  • the control member 65 advantageously comprises a wheel 25 which has on its periphery a lever-forming element such as a lug 66.
  • the lug 66 is arranged to engage with a gripping element corresponding element such as a projecting element provided on the latch bolt 21.
  • the projecting element can be completely removable screw type 4 ( Figure 5) or form a member 45 incorporated and secured to the bolt 21 ( Figure 6) or a element 213, 216 movable within the bolt 21 ( Figure 14A).
  • the wheel 25 is arranged substantially concentrically around the nut 18.
  • the wheel 25 further has on its periphery another lug 70 forming a stop for limiting the travel of the wheel.
  • the support plate 35 has on its leading edge a stop 20 intended to limit the stroke of the stop lug 70 of the wheel.
  • the wheel is secured to the nut 18 by attaching to the bottom thereof to the support plate 35, so as to form an annular groove 68.
  • An elastic return means 71 is provided to return the latch bolt 21 to its rest position.
  • the aforementioned biasing means 71 allows retraction and exit of the latch bolt without the lug or handle must move.
  • the abovementioned biasing means 71 consists of a spring arranged coaxially around the latch bolt.
  • the spring 71 advantageously has an oval section contour matching the two mutually opposite side walls 99 of the latch bolt bearing against the projecting element 4; 45; 216 and thus wrapping advantageously around the latch bolt 21, further allowing a reversal of the position of the latch bolt.
  • the spring 71 of the latch bolt 21 the latter 21 can be actuated recessed or projecting without the lever 66 or the handle 2 must be moved and / or actuated.
  • Another biasing means is embodied in the form of a spiral spring 74 winding around the nut 18 in the aforementioned annular groove 68 to act on the wheel 25.
  • a notch 69 is provided on the periphery of the wheel, preferably in the non-useful zone thereof, that is to say outside the ergot zone 72.
  • the notch 69 then serves as housing for a primer 70'of the spring.
  • the nut and wheel assembly is arranged between the latch bolts 21 and the latch bolt 22.
  • the thickness of the wheel 25 is smaller than the diameter of the half-turn bolt 21.
  • the spiral spring 74 for its part is entirely housed in the annular groove 68. This arrangement of the spring and the wheel makes this closure device more compact and therefore offers the advantage of considerably reducing the bulk of the latter.
  • the spiral spring 74 is metallic.
  • the deadbolt 22 has a double axial alignment of notches 83 and notches 76, 77, 78 respectively.
  • the notches and notches preferably each extend transversely with respect to the axis of the bolt 22. notch and notch profile is virtually identical. The alignment of notches is turned towards the control member 65.
  • a locking member 55 serving as a latch is arranged to slide transversely relative to the direction of sliding of the dead bolt 27, between the latter and the support plate 35.
  • locking member is formed for example by a sliding wafer 50.
  • On the support plate 35 is provided a guide 51 for transverse sliding of the wafer 50.
  • the wafer 50 preferably has a substantially rectangular shape and thus has a leading edge 48 and a trailing edge 48 'forming a latch ramp.
  • the wafer 50 is provided with a loop 53 protruding with respect to the wafer from the inside of the wafer as shown in FIG. 1.
  • the wafer 50 is slidably received in the aforementioned guide 51, between the lateral surface. 29 of the recessed portion 103 of the bolt 22 and the support plate 35, the loop 53 being turned outwardly to engage the notches 83 of the deadbolt.
  • This arrangement of the locking member is particularly advantageous because of its very small size and its reliability.
  • Another additional return means 39 is provided opposite the loop 53 so as to bring the wafer 50 back to its rest position.
  • This is formed for example by an elongate type of spring with two branches 46, 47 in the form of a hairpin.
  • the arms 46,47 of the spring have a long length so as to ensure an effective return of the wafer in its rest position while not requiring too much pressure on it thanks to the leverage obtained by the length branches 46, 47 of the spring 54, which is preferably also metallic.
  • the other abovementioned biasing means 39 and 74 are advantageously combined into a single spring 171.
  • the hairpin spring 39 is connected by one of its branches 47 to the spiral spring 59, at the free end thereof. this.
  • the spring 39 extends outside the annular groove 68, the cylindrical casing 49 of the wheel 25 being advantageously interrupted on a part of its periphery.
  • the interruption zone is for example formed by a peripheral recess laterally delimited by two shoulders for a rotation of the wheel 25, despite the presence of the return means 171 remaining practically in place. The aforementioned rotation is thus limited by the shoulders.
  • the spring 171 according to the invention has a dual function by its action on the latch bolt and on the locking member. The number of parts is reduced, the mounting speed of the closure device increased and reduced size.
  • the loop 53 is arranged on a central axis of the wafer 50 so as to ensure a better balance of the forces acting on it.
  • the loop is stamped from the wafer without removal of material. This greatly enhances the strength and the holding of the loop to the wafer.
  • the loop 53 is attached to the wafer at an inside point thereof and can extend linearly along a determined slope. As can be seen in FIG. 1, however, the loop 53 can also be connected to the plate at two inner points 191, 192 so as to form an eyelet for the branch 46 of the spring 39.
  • each bolt 21, 22 has a large length.
  • the bolts 21, 22 are mounted to slide axially in the closure device.
  • passages are provided in the headrest 7, as well as in the tubular profile 19.

  • a support plate 35 is attached perpendicular to the headrest 7 to a longitudinal edge thereof.
  • the shape of the plate 35 is advantageously adapted to the internal shape of the housing 10.
  • Guiding elements 37, 39 of the bolts 21, 22, for example a guide eyelet connected to the support plate 35, are arranged in the alignment of the aforementioned bolt passages 36, 38. Given the relatively pronounced length of each of the bolts 21, 22 it is important to ensure excellent guiding stability thereof in their axial sliding along the arrow designated by F. A For this purpose, the guide elements 37, 39 are attached to the edge of the plate 35 which is opposite to that to which the headrest 7 is attached, thus ensuring a maximum distance between the two guide locations of each bolt 21, 22.
