Definitions

  • the present invention relates to a closing device for a door, in particular double leaf comprising a lock provided with a latch bolt.
  • the latch bolt is actuated by a handle via a nut.
  • these devices have disadvantages.
  • One drawback is that a door provided of this type of closure cannot be closed by folding down the door on which it is mounted, but it requires actuation of the handle to allow it to close. This can be inconvenient for the user, in particular when loaded or unable to easily operate the handle for some reason.
  • Another type of known device comprises a housing comprising a plaster, to which is attached a headrest, and a closing mechanism, the housing being closed by a cover which is screwed onto the plasterboard.
  • the housing is designed for house a safety lock arranged to actuate a deadbolt lockable by a locking member.
  • One drawback here lies in the location of the locking member causing a certain size compared to the deadbolt.
  • Another drawback is the location of the recall means. These are usually located from so as to occupy a certain clean space which must be taken into account for the sizing of the housing. This is particularly the case when the means of reminder are wrapped around the latch bolt. This provision of the means of recall can also expose these to outside disturbance.
  • the purpose of the closure device according to the present invention is to remedy to the aforementioned drawbacks.
  • it is proposed according to the present invention as a device as defined in claim 1.
  • the latch bolt is made retractable with the click of the door, so without handling the handle.
  • the latch bolt has one end bevelled attack profile, preferably between 30 ° and 60 °, preferably still between 40 ° and 50 °, the bevel being oriented laterally towards this side which promotes easier retraction of the latch bolt.
  • said means of adjustment is formed by a projecting element attached to the surface side of the latch bolt.
  • This construction reduces considerably the lateral dimensions of the closing mechanism according to the direction of the axes of rotation of the handles.
  • the bulk due to means of returning the latch bolt is eliminated, since it is housed in the organ command of it.
  • this provision provides protection effective of the return means against an external disturbance.
  • An adjustment possibility for the latch bolt is provided by the adaptation adequate number of openings in the latch bolt. This allows a initial offset and adjustment of the respective rest positions of the latch bolt and the wheel as a function of the transverse dimensions of the support tube.
  • an additional co-operating reminder means is provided directly with the latch bolt so that it can be brought to extend and retract independently of the lug and the door handle.
  • the arrangement defined in claim 13, and more particularly in the claim 14, is very advantageously compact while ensuring efficient and safe operation of the locking member by its arrangement guided between the deadbolt and the support plate.
  • the organ of the aforementioned locking is of very simple construction while ensuring a extremely effective deadbolt locking.
  • a deadbolt is obtained which is adjustable according to the transverse dimensions of the support tube on which the closure device is intended to be mounted. Number of adjustment possibilities depends directly on the number of notches in the deadbolt.
  • the measurement defined according to claim 17 makes it possible to bring together the first and second means of recall in a single means having two functions, which makes mounting significantly simpler and further reduces considerably the space requirement by the elastic return means.
  • the aforementioned first and second gripping means are each formed by a notch and a complementary projection making it possible to form a tenon-mortise connection. The above is obtained with the measurement defined according to claim 19.
  • the present invention generally relates to a closure device, in especially for door, with lock.
  • the closing device described applies in particular to any type of opening, such as gate, barrier, pivoting door provided with a profiled lateral side in tubular form as in the example described below and of generally any size.
  • Figure 1 is illustrated the lock device which comprises a housing 10 in which is housed the lock 8 with plaster on which is fixed a cover.
  • the housing 10 is designed to house a lock mechanism making it possible to order at least one bolt, as illustrated in figure 3.
  • a control mechanism for a latch bolt 21 and a bolt frame 22 each having an elongated shape is described.
  • the exemplary structure of the mechanism described below allows the transformation of a rotational movement of a control member 65 which is driven by a handle 2, in a translational movement of the bolt.
  • Each bolt 21, 22 is intended to engage in the aforementioned tubular profile 19 under the action of a member respective actuation.
  • the actuating member of the latch bolt 21 is constituted by a handle 2 provided on either side of the door and the actuator of the deadbolt 22 by a key 1, for example inserted into a security lock 8.
  • FIG. 21 illustrates a variant of operation in which training is carried out by the action of the user directly by rotation of a key in the lock without handle.
  • the control member 65 comprises advantageously a wheel 25 which has on its periphery an element of socket forming a lever such as a lug 66.
  • the lug 66 is arranged to engage with a corresponding grip element such as a protruding element provided on the latch bolt 21.
  • the projecting element can be completely removable of the type screw 4 ( Figure 5) or form an element 45 incorporated and integral with the bolt 21 ( Figure 6) or else an element 213, 216 which can be moved within the bolt 21 (FIG. 14A).
  • the wheel 25 is arranged in a substantially concentric manner around the nut 18.
  • the wheel 25 also has on its periphery another lug 70 forming a stop intended to limit the stroke of the wheel.
  • the plate of support 35 has on its leading edge a stop 20 intended to limit the stroke of the locking lug 70 of the wheel.
  • the wheel is secured to the nut 18 by attaching itself to the bottom thereof to the support plate 35, so as to form an annular groove 68.
  • An elastic return means 71 is provided for bringing back the latch bolt 21 in its rest position.
  • the abovementioned return means 71 allows retraction and exit of the latch bolt without the lug or the handle should not move.
  • the abovementioned return means 71 is consisting of a spring arranged coaxially around the latch bolt.
  • the spring 71 advantageously has an outline of oval section matching the two mutually opposite side walls 99 of the latch bolt by pressing against the projecting element 4; 45; 216 and thus winding advantageously around the latch bolt 21, further allowing a reversing the position of the latch bolt.
  • the spring 71 of the bolt U-turn 21 the latter 21 can be actuated retracted or projecting without the lever 66 or the handle 2 must not be moved and / or actuated.
  • Another return means is produced in the form of a spiral spring 74 wrapping around the nut 18 in the annular groove 68 above to act on the wheel 25.
  • a notch 69 is provided on the periphery of the wheel, preferably in the non-useful area thereof, that is to say outside the lug area 72.
  • the notch 69 then serves as a housing for a 70 'spring primer.
  • the nut and wheel assembly is arranged between the latch bolts 21 and the deadbolt 22.
  • the thickness of the wheel 25 is less than the diameter of the latch bolt 21.
  • the spiral spring 74 is entirely housed in the groove annular 68. This arrangement of the spring and the wheel makes this device more compact closure and therefore offers the advantage of considerably reducing the size of it.
  • the spiral spring 74 is metallic.
  • the deadbolt 22 has a double axial alignment of notches 83 and respectively of notches 76, 77, 78.
  • the notches and notches extend from preferably each transversely to the axis of the bolt 22. In each alignment, the profile of the notches and respectively of the notches is practically identical. The alignment of the notches is turned towards the organ of command 65.
  • a locking member 55 serving latch is arranged to slide transversely relative to the direction of sliding of the deadbolt 27, between the latter and the support plate 35.
  • the locking member is formed for example by a plate sliding 50.
  • On the support plate 35 is provided a guide 51 allowing the transverse sliding of the wafer 50.
  • the wafer 50 has, of preferably a substantially rectangular shape and thus has an edge leading edge 48 and a trailing edge 48 ′ forming a latch ramp.
  • Brochure 50 is provided with a loop 53 protruding from the plate starting from the inside of the wafer as visible in FIG. 1.
  • the wafer 50 is slidingly housed in the aforementioned guide 51, between the lateral surface 29 of the recessed portion 103 of the bolt 22 and the support plate 35, the loop 53 being turned outward so as to engage with the notches 83 of the deadbolt.
  • This arrangement of the locking member is particularly advantageous by its very small footprint and by its reliability.
  • Another additional reminder means 39 is provided opposite the loop 53 of so as to return the wafer 50 to its rest position.
  • This one is formed for example by an elongated type spring with two branches 46, 47 in the form hairpin.
  • the branches 46, 47 of the spring have a length raised to ensure effective return of the insert to its position rest while not requiring too high pressure on it thanks to the leverage obtained by the length of the branches 46, 47 of the spring 54, which, from preferably is also metallic.
  • the other abovementioned return means 39 and 74 are advantageously combined in a single spring 171.
  • the hairpin spring 39 is connected by one of its branches 47 to the spiral spring 59, at the free end thereof.
  • the spring 39 extends outside the annular groove 68, the cylindrical casing 49 wheel 25 being advantageously interrupted on part of its periphery.
  • the interruption zone is for example formed by a peripheral recess delimited laterally by two shoulders allowing a rotation of the wheel 25, despite the presence of the return means 171 which remains practically in place. The aforementioned rotation is thus limited by the shoulders.
  • the spring 171 according to the invention has a double function by its action on the latch bolt and on the locking member. The number of rooms is reduced, the mounting speed of the closing device increased and reduced dimensions.
  • the loop 53 is arranged on a median axis of the wafer 50 so as to ensure a better balance of forces acting on it.
  • the loop is stamped from the plate without removal of material. This considerably improves the solidity and the resistance of the loop to the plate.
  • the loop 53 is attached to the plate at one point inside of it and can extend linearly along a determined slope. As can be seen in FIG. 1, the loop 53 can however also be attach to the plate at two interior points 191, 192 so as to form a passage eyelet for the branch 46 of the spring 39.
  • each bolt 21, 22 has a significant length.
  • the bolts 21, 22 are mounted at axial sliding in the closing device.

  • the fixing by the sockets 91, 92 of the closure to the tube 19 by making use of the openings 56, 57 and 58, 59 which are at the same time intended for the passage of bolts 21 and 22 makes it possible to limit the number of openings in the tube 19.
  • the grip surface relatively between the bushings and the threaded passages increases the stability of connection between the tube 19 and the closure device.
  • each socket is axially hollow, the inner wall being cylindrical.
  • the bolts present also a generally cylindrical appearance at least over part of their length. This results in yet another advantage of the sockets. Being willing along the axis of sliding of the bolts, the sockets indeed form a guide additional for the bolts as shown in Figure 3, thus contributing to their stability.
  • the second axial alignment of the transverse notches 76, 77, 78 is rotated on the opposite side with respect to the latch bolt and towards the entrance of the lock as well that it emerges from the figures.
  • the notches are arranged to cooperate with a bit not shown of the safety lock. Thanks to the presence of several notches, it is possible to adjust the stroke of the deadbolt 6 in tube function.
  • the number of taps in the deadbolt depends on the number of notches in it. In the example illustrated, for example, provision is made for each notch, that is to say for each adjustment of the bolt stroke, a notch corresponding to a closed position of the deadbolt, i.e.

  • the longitudinal recess of the deadbolt allows a vertical alignment of the latch bolt and the deadbolt while ensuring sufficient space for the aforementioned transverse sliding between the bolt frame and the support plate, plate or latch. So the closing device is more compact.
  • a stop rib is provided on the inside face of the headrest, practically next to the center of the nut.
  • the stop rib extends perpendicular to the longitudinal axis of the headrest 7. It is intended to limit the stroke of the wheel in the direction of the projection of the latch bolt 21.
  • the profile of the notches 83 of the deadbolt 22 is adapted to the loop 53 of the locking member forming a latch 55. in particular at the slope and at the width thereof.
  • the notches 83 are slightly flared so as to ensure engagement of the loop 53 in the notch 68 in smooth and smooth, when the locking member 55 slides towards the deadbolt 22 in the direction of the arrow designated by the reference G on the Figure 3 and engages with it.
  • the lock housing 10 shown in Figure 1 is in the form of a monobloc body integrating cover and plaster in a six-sided case 11, 12, 13, 14, 15, 16.
  • the case forming a case 10 has on one of the faces 16 a opening 33 intended to receive a headrest 7 which is independent of the housing well said.
  • a closing device is obtained the security of which is considerably enhanced because the lock 8 is housed in the box 10 installed in the door. Indeed, the only access to the lock 8 is located in the lateral opening 33 which is closed by the headrest 7. The headrest is blocked in front of the tubular profile 19 on which the closure device is mounted. The lateral opening 33 is thus completely inaccessible, which removes any possibility of access to the lock mechanism housed in the housing 10.
  • said one-piece structure of the housing 10 offers the advantage of facilitating the mounting it in the door and thereby greatly reducing the time mounting. The size of the assembly formed by the housing and the headrest in is reduced.
  • the edge 32 surrounding the opening 33 and the edge of the headrest 7 have a beveled profile allowing a quick and secure fitting of one in the other.
  • the operation of the closure device according to the invention is described below, using Figure 3 and Figures 20a to 20c.
  • the latch bolt 21 is actuated by one of the handles and the deadbolt 22 by the introduction of a safety key 1 in the profiled key entry 3 of one of the rotary cylinders of the safety lock 8.
  • the position initial of each bolt 21, 22 is selected according to the dimensions transverse of the support tube 19.
  • the latch bolt 21 is adjusted in positioning it in the desired recoil position relative to the wheel 25. It just choose the position of the latch bolt 21 always depending on the tube support 19 and replace the wheel 25. In this regard, it is possible to reuse the closure device for support tubes having dimensions different cross-sections. You just have to reposition the latch bolt as described above by previously removing the wheel 25 in order to obtain rest position, the appropriate projection thereof relative to the surface of support tube edge.
  • the latch bolt 21 is brought back automatically in its projecting rest position under the effect of the spring balance spring 74 which is wrapped around the nut 18.
  • the handle 2 is turned following the direction of the arrow indicated by the reference in Figure 3 to open the door.
  • the nut 18 and the wheel 25 integral with the latter are brought to also turn in the same direction, the rotational movement of the wheel being transmitted to the latch bolt 21, so that it is brought to perform an axial sliding of withdrawal following the arrow indicated by the reference F in Figure 1 and thus bring the latch bolt 21 in position withdrawal.
  • the spring, in particular the coiled part 74 thereof is thus found compressed.
  • the spring 71 relaxes, bringing thus the wheel 65 in its starting position in an opposite direction of rotation.
  • the primer portion 70 located at the free end of the coiled portion 74 of the spring 71 serves as an application element for the wheel.
  • the wheel 25 has at this height a interrupted profile forming a notch 69 around which the primer portion 70 of the spring coils.
  • the mechanism for setting the deadbolt 22 in motion is described below.
  • the deadbolt 22 slides axially along the direction of rotation given to the safety key 1, in turn imparting a rotational movement along the arrow indicated by the reference H to the safety lock 8 in a known manner.
  • the deadbolt 22 is adjusted according to the dimensions support tube 19 as is the case for the latch bolt 21.
  • the deadbolt 22 is adjusted by selectively positioning one notches 76, 77, 78 of the deadbolt 22 with the possibility of adjusting it 22 according to the section of the support tube 19, as well as to reuse the same closure device with support tubes having dimensions different cross-sections. You just have to reposition the bolt differently standing 22 relative to the safety lock 8.
  • the bit continues its rotational movement and thus brings the deadbolt 22, now released, to slide axially in the direction of the arrow indicated by the reference E.
  • one of the notches 83 is located opposite the protruding loop 53 of the wafer.
  • the protruding loop 53 is brought back into the notch 83 which is located in face of it.
  • each notch 76, 77, 78 correspond advantageously at least two notches 83, one for locking the bolt 22 by the latch 55 in the open position and the other for locking the latch in closed position.
  • 83 additional notches preferably one additional notch per notch 76, 77, 78. It goes without saying that, if necessary, certain notches could be duplicated in order to reduce the number compared to the number of notches.
  • the width of the notches measured along the axis deadbolt 22 relative to the width of the bit is such that there is a clearance between the bit and each notch allowing movement of the bit in it as described above.
  • the guide eyelet 39 of the deadbolt 22 is provided with a projection 35 arranged so as to guide the branch free 46 of the loop portion 54 of the spring 171.
  • the movement of the deadbolt for different thicknesses of profiles tubular 19 is obtained by the displacement of the projecting element 4 in a number of holes provided in the latch bolt 21.
  • the end bevel 72 thereof allows a more convenient operation thereof, in particular as for its withdrawal or its cooperation with the reception plate.
  • the closure device comprises a usable lock especially for swinging metal doors and gates, with opening by a handle ( Figure 4) or also by the cylinder only ( Figure 21), i.e. without handle, as well as for wrought iron gates, for gates, especially in garden enclosures or sports grounds and even for palisades or industrial doors.
  • the aforementioned closing devices have an adaptable lock for sectional tubular profiles square or rectangular flattened only for round section profiles, while being adjustable on profiles of different dimensions as illustrated in the figures 10 to 13.
  • Figure 19 clearly illustrates how one can adapt easily the lock of the device for closing a square to round tubular profile and conversely, simply by incorporating an adapter plate 199 for the round section.
  • the control of the bolts 21 and 22 is discriminated as follows: the first turn of the cylinder 106 by manual actuation retracts the deadbolt 22, while the second turn of the cylinder 106 by manual actuation retracts the latch bolt 21.
  • the securing the two latch bolts and deadbolt 21, 22 provides a lock double-turn adjustable so no handle is needed to close the door.
  • the mounting of the device on the aforementioned tubular profiles is extremely easy and presents no risk of loss of solidity of the assembly since it suffices to punch two holes in the tubular profile 19 to apply the lock to it 19.
  • a tool composed of a gauge of perforation and a stepped drill saves precious time in the preparation of tubular profiles for mounting. Holes 56, 58 in the profile tubular 19 are produced in a single operation using the aforementioned drill.
  • the closure device adapts to each tubing profile. Furthermore, being given that locks 91. 92 can be moved in a jiffy using added keys 97, we can reconcile different profiles and profile dimensions. In addition, as shown above, mounting is extremely easy and quick and can be done in less than a minute by punching or punching first two holes 56, 58 in the tubular profile 19 then putting the lock 10 on the door, by inserting each of the bolts 21 and 22 into the orifices 56 and 58 which have just been trained and finally fixing said lock 10 using the key added 97. On the housing is integrated a reinforcement 330 as illustrated on the figure 15 ensuring security for the cylinder of the lock so that it can practically no longer be demolished.
  • Reinforcement 330 is advantageously poured into the housing so as to be integral with it. This provides a universal closure device adaptable to all standard base frame with closing mechanism. Through the app aforementioned reinforcements 330, preferably in one piece with the housing 10, obtains that the entire length of the cylinder 8 is housed in the housing. The fixing of the lock is done from the inside of the tubular profile by means of a lock 91, 92 which crosses the tubular profile of the door.
