Definitions
- the invention relates to a device for producing Solid and / or solid-liquid mixtures in a mixer that has a substantially horizontal orientation has cylindrical mixing drum with end walls, that limit a mixing chamber of the mixing drum with Mixing tools arranged in the mixing room, which are those in the mixing room located product components in the operation of the device mix and with at least one in the cylinder wall provided over the entire axial length of the mixing chamber extending opening for loading and / or emptying of the mixing room, the opening for the operation of the device is lockable.
- the known device for mixing solids has a two-part emptying flap in the bottom area of the Mixer on, which opened almost over the entire floor area can be.
- the emptying flaps must be in the adapt the closed state to the cylindrical mixing chamber, so that they are bent according to the drum radius have to.
- the curved edges as well as the straight lines The edges of the emptying flaps must be opposite the Mixing room are sealed so that the well-known mixer in the Operation is sealed dustproof.
- the mixing room emptied, the flaps must be opened and the outflowing Product also wets the seals of the flaps, so that the seals through both the product flowing out can be damaged as well as dirty. Therefore have to the seals cleaned after each or a few batches if the mixing room is sealed dust-tight via the flaps shall be.
- the seals are curved Areas of the flaps or drum sections are guided and are constantly moved with the flaps.
- the object of the invention is therefore to provide a simplified sealing surface at a large opening of a cylindrical To create mixing room that is largely maintenance-free and is inexpensive to manufacture.
- Opening in the mixing drum is limited by a first edge which extends at least partially into the end walls and that in the cylinder wall and in the end walls running first edge delimits a flat surface.
- the inventive design of the opening on one Mixing room has the advantage that there are no more curved edges limit the opening. Over the entire circumference of the opening seen a straight edge is formed, that runs on a flat surface. The one running in one plane first edge defines an opening that extends over the entire mixing room, so that a complete residual emptying of the product in the mixing room is. The mixing room no longer has an area in the floor area which is not perfect when the flap is open is released.
- the flat edge course also allows one simple flap construction that makes the opening dustproof can close because only one peripheral edge in one level surface is to be sealed. Therefore it is also possible not only on small machines with a single flap work that effectively closes the entire opening when needed. This advantage enables cost-effective production the flap as well as the opening to be created on Mixing room.
- the opening can be satisfactory with a single flap be locked, so is only one only locking and opening mechanism for moving the flap in a closed or in an open position necessary.
- Opening can be closed by a flap, which is a bulge has, the inner surface in one in a flat Surface surrounding edge ends, which in the closed state the flap rests on the first edge, and the inner surface the bulge is flush and stepless on an inner surface the adjacent cylinder wall of the mixing drum about.
- the one in one level Surface-trimmed second edge can easily be attached to the first Edge pressed so that the opening is closed.
- the bulge in the single flap is continuous Continuation of the cylindrical mixing room course possible so that closely bordering on the inner surface Mixing elements also the inner surface of the bulge in the Effectively sweep operation of the device and the whole can often move material to be mixed.
- the opening can be closed without gaps be, so that with flat-ground edges Mixing room well sealed even without an additional seal is when the two edges are close together.
- the width of the edges can be freely selected as required.
- the seal is preferably provided in the region of the first edge.
- the seal can be behind the edge of the first Be arranged edge, and the flat course of the first The edge ensures easy attachment of the seal.
- the seal is as Rectangular, endless sealing tape educated.
- the sealing tape can be used as a closed tape be formed, the square in cross section, round or can be rectangular. Also particularly flat Sealing tapes can be attached to the first edge.
- the device is along the first edge in the area of the mixing drum and in the plane defined by the first margin a metal band arranged in the outside, in which a groove is provided for receiving the seal.
- the metal band which is also in the plane of the runs the first edge, a groove is formed which the Seal can fit snugly.
- the metal band can ever in terms of width, a large contact surface for the second Provide edge of the flap so that a very good seal opening with the flap closed is.
- the metal band is supported by a strut, one becomes additional stiffening in the area of the seal achieved.
- the second edge of the flap can have a stronger locking force be pressed onto the first edge.
- Edge end faces of at least one width are preferred.
- the Bulkheads made from circular blanks in the plane of the first edge ends and formed from walls that protrude beyond the blanks.
- a shaft for pivoting the flap to open and Closing the opening provided in the area of the stiffening angle is on the mixing drum a shaft for pivoting the flap to open and Closing the opening provided.
- the one to open and Closing the flap necessary forces can be done hydraulically or pneumatically operated locking cylinder applied become.
- the stiffening angle also ensures that no undue twists when the shaft rotates occur on the device.
- An additional blow-off device can be provided in the area of the first edge be trained, for example with Compressed air the first and second edge fully automatically in front of you Closing process of the flap can be cleaned.
- Fig. 1 shows with 10 a mixer from the perspective of a Front wall 11 of the mixer 10.
- the front wall 11 covers one Mixing drum 12, with which the end wall 11 is connected.
- a further end wall limits the mixing drum 12 axially Direction.
- In the end wall 11 is a bearing 13 for one Mixer shaft designed, arranged on the mixing tools wind.
- the mixer shaft runs through the entire mixing drum 12 and is in its ends in an end wall 11 rotatably mounted.
- a product feed nozzle 14 is located on the mixing drum 12 trained over the solids and liquids to be mixed can be placed in a mixing room 15. Of the Mixing chamber 15 is through the mixing drum 12 and the end walls 11 limited.
- a flap 16 is provided in the bottom area of the mixing drum 12, which extend over the entire axial length of the mixing space 15 extends.
- the flap 16 is via a shaft 17th rotatably mounted on the mixer 10.
- the circumferential first edge 18 limits the Opening 20 on the mixing drum 12 and on the end walls 11.
- a seal is provided, which on a Metal strap 22 is attached.
- the metal strip 22 is with the first edge 18 firmly connected.
- the metal strip 22 is over a strut 23 stiffened.
- a stiffening angle 24 is provided on the mixer 10 the mixer 10 stiffened in the area of the storage of the flap 16.
- the end walls 11 go into a substructure 25 with which the mixer 10 is placed on a floor can be.
- a cutter head is on the mixing drum 12 26 flanged, the one with fast rotating knives protrudes into the mixing room 15.
- the rapidly rotating knives of the cutter head 26 can support a mixing process in the mixing room 15.
- the flap 16 with dashed lines in the closed Condition shown.
- the second edge 19 lies closely on the first edge 18 of the opening 20, and between the first Edge 18 and the second edge 19, the seal 21 is arranged. With dash-dotted lines, the flap 16 is in the open Condition shown.
- Fig. 2 shows only individual parts of the mixer 10 in spatial Presentation.
- the flap 16 is offset from the mixing chamber 15 shown.
- the mixing space 15 is through delimited a plate 29 on which the product feed nozzle 14 and a vent pipe 30 is formed.
- the mixing drums 12 each end on an end wall 11 in which the Mixer shaft is mounted. On the representation of the mixer shaft was waived.
- the mixing drum ends in the lower area 12 in the circumferential first edge 18, which is the opening 20 limited in a flat surface.
- At first Edge 18 joins the metal strip 22 in which the seal 21 runs.
- the seal 21 runs in the metal band 22 and in the end walls 11 in a horizontal plane.
