Abstract

La présente invention concerne une soufflante radiale comprenant une turbine (10) à moyeu (11) et un carénage (12) disposé de façon à se présenter à une certaine distance du moyeu, à l'opposé du moyeu. La turbine comporte en outre une pluralité d'ailettes (13) montées entre une zone périphérique extérieure du moyeu et la zone périphérique extérieure du carénage. Ces ailettes occupent une disposition radiale autour de l'axe du moyeu. En l'occurrence, un bord postérieur (13b) de chacune des ailettes est en dents de scie (20), le bord considéré présentant sur toute sa longueur des dents et des intervalles orientés dans le sens de la largeur des ailettes. Le bord postérieur (13b) de cette structure fait alterner des zones de grande longueur et des zones de petite longueur de façon qu'au niveau du bord postérieur, la confluence de l'air s'écoulant du côté de la face sous pression de l'ailette avec l'air s'écoulant du côté de la face déprimée de l'ailette se réalise progressivement dans toute la longueur du bord postérieur. Il en résulte que le gradient de pression et la perte de vitesse de l'écoulement d'air imputable à la confluence au niveau du bord postérieur diminuent suffisamment pour ramener à un minimum les turbulences de l'air d'écoulement au niveau du bord postérieur, et pour réduire le bruit du groupe ventilateur.
