Abstract

Es wird eine Abdeckung für ein Schwimmbecken od. dgl. beschrieben, das einen umlaufenden Mantel (3) enthält. Die Abdeckung ist mit einem Bedeckungsteil (6) und einem Reißverschluß (8) versehen, der ein erstes, am Bedeckungsteil (6) befestigtes und ein zweites, am Mantel (3) befestigbares Teil (14, 11) aufweist. Erfindungsgemäß enthält die Abdeckung außerdem einen über den Mantel (3) legbaren und mit diesem mittels einer Haltevorrichtung (9,16) verbindbaren Randstreifen (7,9), wobei das zweite Teil (11) an dem Randstreifen (7,9) befestigt ist. <IMAGE>

Description

Die Erfindung betrifft eine Schwimmbadabdeckung der im Oberbegriff des Anspruch 1 angegebenen Gattung.
Schwimmbeckenabdeckungen für Freiluftschwimmbecken, insbesondere solche für private Zwecke, werden in der Sommerzeit benutzt, um eine Verunreinigung des Wassers zu vermeiden. Außerhalb der Schwimmsaison dienen sie zum Schutz des Schwimmbeckens gegen Verschmutzung. Darüber hinaus sollen sie den unbeaufsichtigten und unbeabsichtigten Zugang von Kindern, insbesondere Kleinkindern, zum Schwimmbecken verhindern. Desweiteren verhindern Schwimmbeckenabdeckungen die Verdunstung des Wassers im Schwimmbecken und isolieren es thermisch von der Umgebungstemperatur.
Eine Schwimmbeckenabdeckung der eingangs bezeichneten Gattung ist bekannt (DE-Gbm 72 13 000) und entweder als eben angeordnete Plane oder als eine luftgetragenen Halle gestaltet. Die Abdeckung ist über einen Reißverschluß lösbar mit einem den Beckenrand umgebenden Wulst verbunden und kann daher leicht auf- oder abgebaut werden. Zum Aufbau ist lediglich die Abdeckung über das Schwimmbecken zu legen und der Reißverschluß zu schließen. Bei der Abnahme der Abdeckung kann diese nach dem Lösen des Reißverschlusses abgenommen werden. Allerdings erfordert die Abdeckung den am Schwimmbeckenrand angebrachten Wulst, der um den Beckenrand gelegt und mit Sand oder Wasser gefüllt werden muß, damit er den Schwimmbeckenrand in fester Position umschließen kann. Das hat nicht nur den Nachteil, daß der Wulst zusätzlich am Schwimmbeckenrand befestigt werden muß, was umständlich und zeitaufwendig ist, sondern ist auch bei nicht oder nicht vollständig in den Böden versenkten Schwimmbecken, die einen freistehenden oberen Rand besitzen, schwierig und nicht ohne weiteres durchführbar.
Der Erfindung liegt die Aufgabe zugrunde, die Schwimmbeckenabdeckung der eingangs bezeichneten Gattung so zu gestalten, daß sie einfach und unter Einsparung des Wulstes montiert und sowohl für die Erstausrüstung eines Schwimmbeckens als auch als Nachrüstsatz verwendet werden kann.
Zur Lösung dieser Aufgabe dienen die Merkmale des Anspruchs 1.
Die erfindungsgemäße Ausgestaltung besitzt den Vorteil, daß die Abdeckung unmittelbar am Beckenrand angebracht werden kann. Ein zusätzlicher, die Abdeckung tragender Wulst ist nicht erforderlich. Weiterhin ermöglicht die vorliegende Schwimmbeckenabdeckung einen einfachen Austausch von verschiedenen, hinsichtlich ihrer Stabilität und Dicke den Jahreszeiten angepaßten Abdeckplanen ohne Änderungen an der Randbefestigung.
Weitere vorteilhafte Merkmale der Erfindung ergeben sich aus den Unteransprüchen.
Die Erfindung wird im folgenden in Verbindung mit den beiliegenden Zeichnungen im Detail beschrieben. Dabei zeigt:
  • Fig. 1 die Schwimmbeckenabdeckung in einer Aufsicht;
  • Fig. 2 einen Schnitt entlang der Linie II-II der Fig. 1;
  • Fig. 3 den mit A gekennzeichneten Bereich der Fig. 2 im Detail gemäß einer bevorzugten Ausführungsform der Erfindung; und
  • Fig. 4 und 5 den mit A gekennzeichneten Bereich der Fig. 2 im Detail gemäß zwei weiteren bevorzugten Ausführungsformen der Erfindung.
    • Fig. 1 bis 3 zeigen ein Schwimmbecken 1 mit einem Böden 2 und einem von diesem aufragenden Mantel 3, der in der Regel aus einem starren Material wie z.B. Stahl, einem Kunststoff oder dgl. besteht. Schwimmbecken 1 dieser Art werden insbesondere für private Zwecke genutzt und z.B. in einem Garten, auf einer Wiese oder dgl. so aufgestellt, daß zumindest ein oberer Rand 4 des Mantels 3 etwas oberhalb des Erdbodens angeordnet ist. Im Ausführungsbeispiel weist das Becken 1 einen kreisrunden Querschnitt auf.
    Eine ebenfalls aus Fig. 1 bis 3 ersichtliche Abdeckung 5 für das Becken 1 schließt dessen Innenraum nach oben ab. Die Abdeckung 5 enthält, wie insbesondere Fig. 3 zeigt, ein großflächiges, vorzugsweise durchgehend aus einem flexiblen Material bestehendes Bedeckungsteil 6, dessen Abmessungen etwa denen des Beckenquerschnitts entsprechen, einen das Bedeckungsteil 6 umgebenden Randstreifen 7 und einen das Bedeckungsteil 6 mit dem Randstreifen 7 verbindenden, nur schematisch angedeuteten Reißverschluß 8. Das Bedeckungsteil 6 dient dem Zweck, das obere offene Ende des Beckens 1 parallel zum Boden 2 abzuschließen und liegt, wenn das Becken mit Wasser gefüllt ist, auf dem Wasserspiegel auf. Dagegen dient der Randstreifen 7 erfindungsgemäß dem Zweck, die Abdeckung am Rand 4 des Beckens 1 zu befestigen, wie nachfolgend anhand der Fig. 3 beschrieben wird.
    Auf dem oberen Rand 4 des Schwimmbeckens liegt ein nach Art eines umgekehrten "U" ansgebildetes Element 9 auf, dessen Innen- und Außenschenkel entlang des Schwimmbeckenmantels 3 verlaufen. An einem an der Innenwand des Schwimmbeckens 1 herunterhängenden Teil 9a des U-förmigen Elements 9 ist eine Auskleidung 10 angebracht, die die Innenseite des Mantels 3 und des Bodens 2 bedeckt, als Abdichtung für das Becken 1 dient und in der Regel eine aus Kunststoff oder dgl. hergestellte Folie ist. Über den mit dem U-förmigen Element 9 bedeckten Schwimmbeckenrand 4 ist außerdem der Randstreifen 7 der Abdeckung 5 gelegt. An dem unteren und inneren, an der Innenwandung des Mantels 3 entlanglaufenden Ende des Randstreifens 7 ist ein Reißverschlußteil 11 des Reißverschlusses 8 über eine Verbindungsnaht 12 angebracht. In das Reißverschlußteil 11 greift auf übliche Weise ein weiteres Reißverschlußteil 14, welches über eine Verbindungsnaht 15 mit dem Bedeckungsteil 6 fest verbunden ist.
    Zur Befestigung des über den oberen Rand 4 des Beckens 1 gelegten Randstreifens 7 dient eine Haltevorrichtung. Diese kann z.B. einen bei Schwimmbecken 1 der hier interessierenden Art üblicherweise vorgesehenen Handlauf 16 enthalten, der an seiner Unterseite eine an die Form des Randes 4 angepaßte Ausnehmung 17 aufweist und mit dieser auf dem Rand 4 festgeklemmt wird. Dadurch werden gleichzeitig das auf den Rand 4 aufgesetzte Element 9 und der über das Element 9 gelegte Randabschnitt 7 zwischen dem Mantel 3 und dem Handlauf 16 eingespannt.
    An den Reißverschlußteilen 11 und 14, mit denen das Bedeckungsteil 6 und der Randabschnitt 7 miteinander verbunden werden können, befinden sich Sicherungselemente, die den Schieber des Reißverschlusses 8 feststellen können und somit ein unbefugtes Abnehmen der Schwimmbeckenabdeckung verhindern sollen. Insbesondere sind die Sicherungselemente angebracht, um das Öffnen der Schwimmbeckenabdeckung durch Kinder und die dadurch bei gefülltem Becken für die Kinder bestehende Gefahr des Ertrinkens zu verhindern.
    Der die Teile 6 und 7 miteinander verbindende Reißverschluß 8 ist in einer Ausführungsform gemäß der vorliegenden Erfindung als textiler Reißverschluß ausgebildet. Dabei sind die Reißverschlußteile 11 und 14 an ihren den Zähnen gegenüberliegenden freien Enden und entlang der Reißverschlußverbindungsrichtung z.B. mit einer Beschichtung versehen, die eine Verbindung der Reißverschlußteile 11 und 14 mit den Teilen 6 und 7 durch Heizkeil-Verschweißung ermöglicht.
    Das U-förmige Element 9 ist mit seinem inneren Teil 9a über eine vorzugsweise als Schweißnaht ausgebildete Verbindungsnaht 18 mit der Auskleidung 10 verbunden, zumindest wenn beide Teile aus üblichen Kunststoffen bzw. Kunststoff-Folien bestehen.
    Aufgrund der erfindungsgemäßen Ausbildung und Befestigung des Randstreifens 7 ist es möglich, diesen dauerhaft am Schwimmbeckenrand zu befestigen, ohne daß zusätzliche Teile benötigt werden. Zur Montage des Bedeckungsteils 6 ist es dann lediglich erforderlich, nach dessen Anordnung auf dem Becken 1 bzw. dem Wasserspiegel die Reißverschlußteile 11, 14 aneinander zu legen und den zugeordneten Schieber des Reißverschlusses zuzuziehen. Zur Demontage braucht der Schieber nur in umgekehrter Richtung betätigt und das Bedeckungsteil 6 nach dem Öffnen des Reißverschlusses 8 vom Becken entfernt zu werden.
    In einer bevorzugten Ausführungsform der Erfindung kann dem Becken 1 ein zweites, aus einem anderen Material bestehendes, entsprechend zugeschnittenes und mit einem entsprechenden Reißverschlußteil 14 versehenes Bedeckungsteil zugeordnet sein. Die beiden Bedeckungsteile können dann wahlweise gegeneinander ausgetauscht werden. Beide Bedeckungsteile bestehen in dieser bevorzugten Ausführungsform der vorliegenden Erfindung z. B. aus UV-beständigen PVC-Folien unterschiedlicher Folienstärke von etwa 0,5-1,0 cm Dicke oder aus beschichteten, z.B. mit PVC, Geweben. Die dickeren Folien werden z.B. zur Abdeckung des Schwimmbeckens 1 außerhalb der Schwimmbadsaison verwendet und besitzen gegenüber den dünneren Folien einen größeren Durchmesser. Dadurch können sie nach der Befestigung mittels des Reißverschlusses 8 am Randstreifen 7 tiefer in das Becken 1 hineinreichen oder sogar bis zum Boden 2 des nicht mit Wasser gefüllten Schwimmbeckens 1 ragen.
    Bei einer besonders bevorzugten Ausführungsform der vorliegenden Erfindung ist das U-förmige Element 9 als ein bei Schwimmbecken der hier interessierenden Art üblicher Keder ausgebildet.
    Die anhand der Fig. 1 bis 3 beschriebene Abdeckung 5 eignet sich vor allem als Nachrüstsatz für ein schon vorhandenes und mit der Auskleidung 10 und dem Element 9 versehenes Becken 1. In diesem Fall wird der flexible Randstreifen 7 über den mit dem Element 9 versehenen Mantel 3 des Beckens 1 gelegt und durch Aufsetzen der Ausnehmung 17 des Handlaufs 16 auf den Mantel 3 und ggf. anschließendes Festschlagen des Handlaufs 16 festgeklemmt. Ein etwa unter dem Handlauf 16 an der Außenseite des Mantels 3 heraushängendes Teil des Randstreifens 7 kann nun so gekürzt werden, daß dieser an der Außenseite nur so weit wie das Element 9 herabhängt und mit der Unterkante des Handlaufs 16 bündig abschließt.
    Obwohl die anhand der Fig. 1 bis 3 beschriebene Abdeckung 5 grundsätzlich auch zur Erstausstattung von Schwimmbecken verwendet werden könnte, wird hierfür vorzugsweise die aus Fig. 4 ersichtliche Ausführungsform vorgesehen, wobei gleiche Teile mit denselben Bezugszeichen wie in Fig. 1 bis 3 versehen sind. Im Unterschied zu Fig. 3 ist hier ein Streifen 21 einer Abdeckung 22 mittels einer Schweißnaht 23 oder dgl. direkt mit der Auskleidung 10 und/oder dem Element 9 verbunden, so daß der Streifen 21 zusammen mit dem Element 9 einen Randstreifen bildet, der dem Randstreifen 7 nach Fig. 1 bis 3 entspricht. Ein Bedeckungsteil 24 ist analog zu Fig. 1 bis 3 mittels eines Reißverschlusses 25 am Streifen 21 befestigt. Dabei ist die Anordnung so getroffen, daß der Querschnitt des Bedeckungsteils 24 etwas kleiner als der Querschnitt des Beckens 1 ist. Der Streifen 21 hängt daher nicht durchgehend vertikal vom Rand 4 herab wie in Fig. 3, sondern geht über ein 90°-Bogenstück in die Horizontale über, so daß den Teilen 11, 14 in Fig. 3 entsprechende Reißverschlußteile 26, 27 weitgehend horizontal angeordnet sind. Die durchgehend vertikale Lage des Randstreifens 7 in Fig. 3 wird allerdings aus statischen Gründen bevorzugt. Abgesehen davon liegen dabei die Reißverschlußteile 11, 14 unmittelbar am Beckenrand an, so daß sie leichter erreicht und betätigt werden können.
    Bei einer weiteren, aus Fig. 5 ersichtlichen Ausführungsform der Erfindung, bei der wiederum gleiche Teile mit denselben Bezugszeichen wie in Fig. 1 bis 3 versehen sind, weist das Bedeckungsteil 6 einen zwischen ihm und dem Randstreifen 7 angebrachten Zwischenstreifen 28 auf. Dieser Zwischenstreifen 28 besitzt an beiden Seiten Reißverschlußteile 29 und 30, die den Reißverschlußteilen 11, 14 des Randstreifens 7 bzw. des Bedeckungsteils 6 zugeordnet sind und mit diesen sowie nicht dargestellten Schiebern zwei Reißverschlüsse 31 bzw. 32 bilden.
    Über die Breite des Zwischenstreifens 28 kann die vertikale Position des Bedeckungsteils 6 über dem Boden 2 des Schwimmbeckens eingestellt werden. Bei Verwendung eines Zwischenstreifens 28, dessen Breite der normalen Wasser-Füllhöhe des Beckens 1 entspricht oder kleiner als diese ist, kann erreicht werden, daß das Bedeckungsteil 6 in einem entleerten Becken 1 auf dessen innerer Bodenfläche oder in einer vorgewählten Höhe über dieser zu liegen kommt. Der Zwischenstreifen 28 wird vorzugsweise zur zusätzlichen Abdeckung eines Schwimmbeckens außerhalb des Schwimmsaison verwendet. Dabei ergibt sich der Vorteil, daß während der Schwimmsaison und außerhalb dieser dasselbe Bedeckungsteil 6 zur Abdeckung des Schwimmbeckens verwendet werden kann.
    Bei einer besonderen Ausführungsform der Erfindung sind zur Sicherung gegen unbefugtes Abnehmen der Schwimmbeckenabdeckung mit Ösen versehene Laschen an die Reißverschlußteile 11, 14 bzw. 26, 27 angeschweißt. Die Laschen sind an den Reißverschlußteilen 11, 14 bzw. 26, 27 seitlich zur der Position angebracht, die der Schieber im geschlossenen Zustand des Reißverschlusses 8 bzw. 25 einnimmt. Der Schieber des Reißverschlusses 8 bzw. 25 ist in dieser bevorzugten Ausführungsform der Erfindung an seinem freien Ende ebenfalls mit einer Öse versehen. Durch die Ösen der Laschen und die Öse des Schiebers wird der Bügel eines Bügelschlosses gehängt. Ein Abschließen des Schlosses verhindert die Bewegung des Schiebers zum Öffnen des Reißverschlusses 8 bzw. 25.
    Die Erfindung ist nicht auf die beschriebenen Ausführungsbeispiele beschränkt. Zahlreiche Elemente dieser Ausführungsbeispiele können in vielfacher Weise abgeändert werden.
    Anstelle textiler Reißverschlüsse können z.B. Kunststoffreißverschlüsse vorgesehen werden, deren Reißverschlußteile aus Materialien bestehen, die durch Heizkeil-Verschweißung oder andere Schweißverbindungen direkt mit dem Randstreifen 7, dem Bedeckungsteil 6 oder dem Zwischenstreifen 28 verbunden werden. Darüber hinaus ist der Begriff Reißverschluß im Sinne der Erfindung sehr weit gefaßt und schließt auch Gleitverschlüsse und andere durch Verschiebung eines Schiebers oder dgl. betätigbare Verschlüsse ein. In einer besonderen Ausführungsform der vorliegenden Erfindung sind die Reißverschlußteile 11, 14 und 29, 30 bzw. 26, 27 als Gleitverschlußteile aus PVC gestaltet.
    In einer anderen Ausführungsform der Erfindung können durch die Ösen an den Reißverschiußteilen 11, 14 und 29, 30 bzw. 26, 27 andere Sicherungselemente wie z.B. Drähte gelegt, und durch Verplombung der Drähte eine mit einer Bewegung des Schiebers des geschlossenen Reißverschlusses 8 bzw. 25 verbundene Öffnung der Schwimmbeckenabdeckung durch Unbefugte verhindert werden. Weiterhin sind im Rahmen der vorliegenden Erfindung als Sicherungselemente stark verknotbare Bindfäden oder verschraubbare Metallbügel denkbar.
    In einer weiteren bevorzugten Ansführungsform ist das eine Reißverschlußteil direkt mit dem zwischen Mantel 3 und Handlauf 16 eingeklemmten Element 9 verbunden, in welchem Fall dieses allein einen über den Mantel 3 gelegten Randstreifen bildet. Dabei kann das Element 9, was auch für die Ausführungsform nach Fig. 4 gilt, auch so ausgebildet sein, daß es gleichzeitig als Haltevorrichtung wirkt, indem es z.B. an den oberen Rand 4 des Mantels 3 angehängt, an diesem festgeklemmt oder sonstwie mit ihm verbunden wird. Weiter wäre es möglich, das Element 9 oder andere Teile eines Randstreifens, an dem ein zur Befestigung des Bedeckungsteils 6 bestimmtes Reißverschlußteil angebracht ist, auf andere als die beschriebene Weise am Beckenrand zu befestigen, beispielsweise mit Hilfe einer am oberen Rand 4 des Beckens 1 mit Schrauben oder dgl. befestigten Klemmleiste. Außerdem kann die Erfindung an anderen Becken als Schwimmbecken wie z.B. Gartenteichen realisiert werden, wobei auch andere als runde Querschnitte, insbesondere ovale oder mehreckige Querschnitte möglich sind. Der Mantel 3 braucht weiterhin weder bei dieser noch bei anderen Becken oder Teichen ein integraler Bestandteil eines das Becken oder den Teich bildenden Behälters zu sein. Vielmehr wäre es möglich, den Teich, ein Becken od. dgl. mit einem fest im Erdboden verankerten, nur der Befestigung der Abdeckung dienenden Mantel zu umgeben, insbesondere z.B. bei natürlichen Gartenteichen. Schließlich versteht sich, daß die verschiedenen Merkmale in anderen als den dargestellten und beschriebenen Kombinationen verwendet werden können.

    Claims (6)

    1. Abdeckung für ein einen umlaufenden Mantel (3) enthaltendes Schwimmbecken (1) oder dgl., mit einem Bedeckungsteil (6, 24, 28) und einem Reißverschluß (8, 25, 31), der ein erstes, am Bedeckungsteil (6, 24, 28) befestigtes und ein zweites, am Mantel (3) befestigbares Teil (14, 27, 29 bzw. 11, 26) aufweist, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß sie einen über den Mantel (3) legbaren und mit diesem mittels einer Haltevorrichtung (9, 16) verbindbaren Randstreifen (7, 9, 21) enthält und das zweite Teile (11, 26) an dem Randstreifen (7, 9, 21) befestigt ist.
    2. Abdeckung nach Anspruch 1, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß der Randstreifen (7) aus einem flexiblen Material besteht und zum Einspannen zwischen dem Mantel (3) und einem auf diesen montierbaren Handlauf (16) eingerichtet ist.
    3. Abdeckung nach Anspruch 1 oder 2, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß der Randstreifen (9, 21) ein U-förmiges, auf den Mantel (3) aufsetzbares Element (9) enthält.
    4. Abdeckung nach Anspruch 2 oder 3, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß der Randstreifen (9, 21) mit einer Auskleidung (10) für das Schwimmbecken (1) verbunden ist.
    5. Abdeckung nach einem der Ansprüche 1 bis 4, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß das Bedeckungsteil (6, 24, 28) und der Randstreifen (7, 9, 21) aus Kunststoff bestehen und durch Schweißen mit den Reißverschlußteilen (14, 27, 29 bzw. 11, 26) verbunden sind.
    6. Abdeckung nach Anspruch 1 bis 5, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß an den Reißverschlußteilen (11, 14 bzw. 26, 27) Sicherungen gegen unbefugtes Öffnen angebracht sind.
