Definitions
- the invention relates to a device for opening or lifting a on a hinge with the door pivoting downwards horizontally.
- Furniture systems are designed to meet a wide variety of needs (spatial, usage, etc.) can be adjusted.
- Cabinet elements should e.g. If necessary, not only installed at a low to medium height, but also at a higher height can be, the cabinet door should be easy to operate.
- swing doors are an advantage arranged on the upper edge of the element pivot axis rotatably suspended are. This means that when the door is closed it hangs essentially vertically below so that it has to be swung up to open. So that the door on the one hand can be opened without great effort and on the other hand in the open A position can be installed without the help of the user.
- Door lifters are available on the market which work with a gas pressure cylinder. Characteristic for such cylinders is the limited maximum extension speed. Also in the event of carelessness, there is a risk of injury during assembly or use negligible small. This is an advantage over a steel spring, which as such knows no inherent motion damping.
- Scissor joints and hinges that are actuated or supported by springs are already there known in large numbers. But they are not designed for doors that are on an overhead Hinge are suspended and from a substantially vertical to an in essential horizontal position to be pivoted.
- the gas pressure cylinder is inferior to a steel spring. Not only the average lifespan of a gas cylinder is a lot shorter than that a steel spring, but it is also more expensive to dispose of.
- the object of the invention is to provide a device of the type mentioned in the introduction, which on the one hand avoids the disadvantages of the known door levers and on the other hand does not only has adequate power development (so that the door does not open or open uncontrollably can strike), but is also compact in structure.
- the construction of the door lifter is characterized by a toggle mechanism which, when the door is closed, in the area of its dead center and when the door is open Door is in its power transmission maximum.
- a spring is used as the drive or force element (e.g. a spiral spring).
- the toggle lever ensures a controlled transmission of the spring force. With the door closed the spring is tensioned, which prevents the knee lever located at or near the dead center but that the power can develop. When you open the door comes the The toggle lever moves from the dead center after a short movement and acts with increasing Opening angle with greater torque.
- the leverage ratios can be so determine that the torque exerted by the door lift is only slightly greater than that opposite torque of the door is. In the course of a 90 ° swivel movement consequently, the door (even if left to its own devices) does not run at high speed at all be accelerated.
- the mechanism is designed such that the a leg of the toggle lever is formed on a lever element, which the door to Open contacted.
- the lever element is rotatably mounted at a point which one has a certain distance from the pivot axis of the door.
- the contact point (between lever and door) and the pivot point (of the knee joint) In relation to the pivot point of the lever, the contact point (between lever and door) and the pivot point (of the knee joint) by an angle of e.g. about 90 ° or something less staggered.
- the second leg of the knee lever can have one arm with its free (rear) end Guide lever be articulated. I.e. a quadrilateral joint is formed, the can bend a corner towards the inside (in the area of the toggle dead center).
- the compression spring actuating the toggle lever mechanism sets according to a particularly preferred embodiment on the guide lever. But it is it is also conceivable that the spring acts on the toggle mechanism at another location. In particular, it could start directly on the second leg or in an extension be arranged the same.
- the first leg of the toggle lever is e.g. shorter than the second. This can reduce the burden of the door hinge (which is determined by the distance of the Point of the door is also determined by the axis of the hinge).
- the ratio of the effective lengths is about 2: 3.
- you can the leverage ratios are varied in order to transfer the power to the variable torque adapt, which is generated by the weight of the door and from Opening angle depends.
- toggle lever mechanism and the compression spring are in a narrow, rectangular flat frames are housed.
- This frame is e.g. divided by two stamped sheets formed, which are connected to each other by short spacers are.
- the frame is preferably designed symmetrically.
- the door lift device is then page independent, i.e. it can be installed either on the left or right of the door.
- the moving parts of the mechanism can also be on one side open frame or directly attached to a wall element.
- the device need not be constructed completely symmetrically.
- the structure is preferred but chosen in such a way that it is at least functionally independent of the page.
- the compression spring should be always be within the frame so that they do not move during the opening or closing movement obstructed or blocked by objects accidentally coming into the vicinity can be. Only the operating arm, which contacts the door, should come out of the Protrude flat frame.
- the toggle lever goes shortly before reaching the closed position beyond the dead center. So that the knee joint of the knee lever with the door closed, i.e. in the area beyond the dead center, a defined position occupies and does not buckle in an uncontrolled manner, a stop element can be provided. It can e.g. act as a plastic element, which in a suitable place in the Flat frame is integrated.
- a lock should ensure that the door has a defined one Takes position.
- This lock is preferably also on the frame of the Door lifter trained and attacks, for example, on the second leg of the toggle lever. Another possibility is e.g. in providing a stroke limitation for the coil spring.
- the door lifter according to the invention is particularly suitable for cupboard elements which are placed in an elevated position.
- the door is e.g. hung on a separate swivel bearing and is opened by the door lifter.
- the pivot axis of the door is then normally not coincide with the fulcrum of the lever pushing the door, but instead have a certain eccentricity with respect to the fulcrum. So that eccentricity the opening and closing movement is not hindered, e.g. a sliding contact be provided between the door lifter and the door.
- the door lifter (and thus the Pivot point of the actuating lever in question) stationary, the pivot axis of the door, however slidable.
- the door's pivot bearing is on a horizontally displaceable slide stored so that the whole door after opening in the cabinet element (or one accordingly provided shaft) can be sunk.
- the retractable door has e.g. a coupling piece in which a corresponding Engage the piece of the operating lever during the opening and closing movement can.
- the coupling is designed so that the pieces are without when the door is lowered Release force from each other.
- the coupling between door lifter and door enables pull the door into the desired closed position when closing. I.e. it cannot only pressure, but also train are transmitted.
- the coupling piece formed on the door lifter preferably offers the coupling piece of the door a stop so that the door opens just before reaching the horizontal projecting position inevitably withdrawn to a certain extent in the cabinet element becomes. In this slightly recessed position, the door is against an undesired one Over-tightening better secured ('' crash protection '').
- FIG. 1 shows a particularly preferred embodiment of the invention.
- the moving parts are housed in a frame, which is essentially by two side parts 1, 2 is formed.
- Fig. 1 only the side part 1 is shown.
- the second (which can be seen in Figure 2b) has been omitted from the toggle mechanism make visible.
- the side parts 1, 2 are configured identically. It is elongated, rectangular, flat sheet steel elements, which in the areas not relevant for stability are excluded (e.g. punched out). The height is e.g. only about 1/5 to 1/6 the length.
- an axis 4 arranged, which on the one hand the two side parts 1, 2 at a desired distance connects together and on the other hand rotatably supports an L-shaped operating lever 3.
- the long leg 3.1 of the actuating lever 3 protrudes in an extension of the upper one Edge of the frame (side parts 1, 2) horizontally to the front.
- a Coupling piece 20 attached.
- the short leg 3.2 closes with the long one Angle of a little less than 90 °. It protrudes in the open position according to FIG. 1 below. Its length corresponds approximately to the height of the frame.
- a fork head 13 engages a rod 12.
- the Connection between fork head 13 and guide lever 8 is articulated (axis 11).
- the rear end of the rod 12 is slidably mounted in a tube 14.
- the tube 14 itself is pivotally mounted on the axis 15.
- Two stop elements 16.1, 16.2 extend between axes 4 and 10. It can e.g. are strip-shaped parts made of plastic.
- stop elements are formed on the flat elements 5.1, 5.2.
- 1 is a cam 17 is drawn, which in a manner yet to be described as a stop element serves.
- a second, similar cam is formed on the flat element 5.2.
- the abovementioned stop elements are on the outer sides of the flat elements 5.1, 5.2 (i.e. on the surfaces facing the side parts 1, 2 of the flat elements). On the inner sides of the side parts 1, 2 there are corresponding ones at a corresponding point Stop elements (not shown) arranged. In the open position of the The above-mentioned stop elements ensure that the operating lever 3 occupies a defined position.
- the two side parts 1, 2 are not only through the axes 4, 10, 15, but also through the spacers 18, 19 connected to each other. So there are at least three Corners of the frame connect the side parts 1, 2.
- 2b clearly shows the symmetry of the construction according to the invention with respect to the Middle frame level (i.e. parallel to the flat side parts 1, 2 and in the Center to this standing geometric plane).
- the mutual distance the side parts 1, 2 is chosen as small as possible.
- 2b corresponds to the one mentioned Distance of the sum of the thickness of the following elements: operating lever 3, Flat elements 5.1 and 5.2, stop elements 16.1 and 15.2.
- FIGS. 3a and 3b show the door lifter according to FIG. 1, as it is exemplarily shown in FIG a cabinet element is mounted.
- the front side part 2 is again omitted, to reveal the toggle mechanism.
- a door 22 is suspended on a hinge 23 with a horizontal axis of rotation. 3a, b, the axis of rotation is perpendicular to the plane of the drawing.
- the Door 22 can move from a vertically hanging (Fig. 3b) to a horizontally projecting (Fig. 3a) Position are pivoted.
- the plate-shaped door 22 is on the upper edge 22.1 connected to the hinge 23.
- the hinge 23 sits on a carriage 24 which in the direction of the arrow 29 on a Rail 25 can be moved back into the cabinet element.
- the Rail 25 is formed on a side support 28, which at the same time for fastening the Door lifter 30 is used.
- 3a, b, a frame tube 27 is still indicated, which part of the cabinet element and which is the upper edge of the cabinet opening forms. (Further frame tubes, not shown, limit the opening mentioned at the three remaining edges.)
- a coupling piece 26 is attached, which in the Coupling piece 20 of the door lifter can engage.
- the door 22 is opened by the actuating lever 3 held, which is pressed by the coil spring 21 in the open position.
- the pole 12 and the flat elements 5.1, 5.2 are on a straight line. This line is parallel to an imaginary connecting line between axes 4 and 10.
- the toggle lever which is due to the flat elements 5.1, 5.2 on the one hand and by the leg 3.2 on the other hand is located yourself in a position of maximum power transmission.
- the power transmission ratio of the toggle lever changes less.
- the coil spring 21 increases the pressure when compressed, it decreases overall the force applied by the actuating lever 3 to the door 22. This decrease the force corresponds to the torque, which is due to the dead weight the door 22 (based on the axis of the hinge 23) is generated and which with decreasing Opening angle becomes smaller.
- the lever ratios in the door lifter can be adjusted as required be chosen so that the door has a tendency to open or close Move position.
- 3b shows the closed position.
- the knee joint (see axis 6) of the knee lever (or, strictly speaking, the flat elements 5.1, 5.2) lies (or lie) on the stop elements 16.1, 16.2.
- the joint is beyond dead center, which results has that the pressure of the spiral spring 21 no longer pushes the door outwards, but pulls inwards into the closed position.
- the closing of the door 22 is made possible by the coupling pieces 20 and 26. This are namely designed so that door 22 and actuating lever 3 during the pivoting movement stay tightly coupled.
- the dead center is e.g. passed through at an opening angle of 5 ° to 10 °, i.e. at an angle at which the torque caused by the weight of the door is relatively small.
- the door is already minimal Exerts torque on the lever mechanism and the beginning force development of the This brakes the spring.
- the flat elements 5.1, 5.2 are with the door lifter closed substantially parallel to the guide lever 8.
- the rod 12 and the guide lever 8 form an angle close to 180 °.
- An imaginary extension of the bar 12 essentially passes through axis 4.
- Axis 10 is therefore slightly above an imaginary connecting line between axis 11 and axis 4.
- the coupling pieces 20, 26 can e.g. according to the tongue and groove principle in the direction of Arrow 29 (i.e. parallel to the door).
- the door 22 is already slightly sunk when reaching the open position. I.e. the axis of the Hinge 23 is no longer in the same place when the door 22 is open as when the door is closed 22. Rather, it is moved in the direction of arrow 29 to the rear.
- the door 22 is namely on the frame tube 27 and as a result can not on the horizontal Position swung upwards. The resulting blocking is all the more more reliable, the further away the contact point between door 22 and frame tube 27 from the axis of the hinge 23.
- the pushing back of the door 22 is related to the fact that on the one hand there is a distance between the axis 4 of the operating lever 3 and the axis of the hinge 23 and on the other hand, the coupling pieces 20, 26 are designed such that the door 22 when swiveling can not move beyond a position that by the Geometry is determined with the door 22 closed.
- the door does not need to be retractable. It is entirely possible that they are firm with the operating lever of the door lifter is connected.
- the pivot axis of the door is then the Actuator lever axis. It can also be of a fixed, independent from the door lift Hinge are started, then the contact point between the operating lever and the door can move.
- the toggle can be designed to straighten in the closed position is in the dead center. But it is by no means excluded that the dead center even is not reached. I.e. the spring will then always exert an opening pressure on the door can. To still be able to hold the door in the closed position, a locking catch can be provided on the cabinet element.
- the exemplary embodiment shows a construction which is distinguished by a low overall height. For other applications, it may be desired to use a door lifter as possible to have less installation depth. It is easy to see that the construction shown can be rotated almost 90 ° vertically, e.g. the operating lever must be executed differently. Instead of an L-shaped lever, a one-armed one could Lever should be provided (i.e. the leg 3.2 also serves as a contact element for Door).
- the pivot axis of the door does not necessarily have to be on the upper edge of the door leaf be.
- the door can easily be mounted so that it protrudes upwards.
- the invention can be used wherever it comes to a door from one vertically hanging position in a more or less horizontally projecting.
- the door lifter according to the invention is made of robust and durable elements is built and because of its compact construction especially for cabinet elements with internals (rails for pull-out drawers, intermediate shelves etc.) is suitable.
