Abstract

Die Erfindung betrifft eine Schneckenpresse zum Extrudieren plastisch verformbarer Stoffe, wie sie in den verschiedensten Gebieten der Technik Einsatz finden kann. Die Aufgabe der Erfindung bestand darin, eine solche Schneckenpresse dahingehend zu verbessern, daß sie einfach aufgebaut ist und demzufolge mit geringem Aufwand gefertigt und montiert werden kann. Die erfindungsgemäße Schneckenpresse ist so aufgebaut, daß in einem zweigeteilten Zylinder, koaxial zu dessen Längsachse eine Schnecke und ein Verschleißeinsatz an der Innenwandung des zweigeteilten Zylinders anliegend, angeordnet ist. Außerdem ist an mindestens einem der beiden Zylinderteile (1, 2) parallel zur Längsachse (3) in das Zylinderinnere hineinragend, ein Flansch (7) vorhanden, an dessen parallelen Längsflächen jeweils eine Stirnfläche des Verschleißeinsatzes (4, 5) anliegt.
