Definitions

  • the invention relates to a kit for renovating stairs according to the preamble of Claim 1.
  • a known kit for stair renovation has an assembly profile, in which the vertical leg is extended upwards and the step ledge is attached to this extension connects nose-shaped.
  • This nose-shaped tread ledge starts from the extension a horizontal area, where a convex area with a constant radius of curvature.
  • the aforementioned extension forms the Stop surface for the new step, while the horizontal underside of the step ledge Stop surface for the riser forms.
  • the vertical and horizontal stop surface each have the same height.
  • Treads and risers made of parquet, laminate, are used PVC and linoleum.
  • the parquet has a thickness of 14 mm, for example the much cheaper laminate only has a thickness of 8 mm. This requires Different mounting profiles, in which the height of the stop surfaces is 14 mm the processing of parquet, 8 mm for the processing of laminate or 2.5mm for the Processing of PVC amounts.
  • EP-A-0 233 487 discloses a profile strip for stair renovation with the features the preamble of claim 1. Also this profile strip or a corresponding kit have an assembly profile which has two legs running at right angles to one another that come to rest on the old steps and risers. At the apex of the legs and protruding from this is a tread bar, the rounded area of which overlaps extends about 90 °.
  • this document shows that the ends of this tread bar, measured to the respective leg, have different heights, the thickness of the two steps are different and approximately equal to the different heights and the rounded area is arranged offset from the apex of the legs in the direction of the higher end
  • the document does not show that the unprocessed end faces of the steps and risers butt against the vertical or horizontal end of the tread bar. Rather, it shows Documentation that both ends of the steps have to be processed in order to to be able to intervene in special profiles of the mounting profile. So it is necessary at to mill out a corner of the tread bar. It is even more complicated with the riser from which an exceptionally complicated profile has to be milled out.
  • step parquet or laminate Due to the profile design it is e.g. possible for the step parquet or laminate and to be used for the laminate or parquet riser. This is possible through the use the same mounting profile in two different installation positions. However, it is ensured that a convex tread bar connects to the step in every installation position, that is to say that the transition between the step and riser has a curved course.
  • the mounting profile according to Figure 1 has two mutually perpendicular and legs 1, 2 of equal length. At the apex of the legs 1, 2 is a convex shape Step bar 3 is provided, which in the extension of the legs 1, 2 two at right angles mutually extending stop surfaces 4, 5 forms.
  • the stop surface 4 is higher than that Stop surface 5.
  • the stop surface 4 has a Height of 14 mm and the stop surface 5 of 8 mm.
  • the rounded one Area 6 of the tread bar has a changing radius of curvature. In the field of Stop surface 4, the radius of curvature of the rounded region 6 is about 14 mm, the to the area of the stop surface 5 in a radius of curvature of about 8 mm transforms.
  • the millimeter specifications mentioned are to be understood as examples.
  • leg 1 is attached to the old step and leg 2 to the old one Riser, then 7 is used for step 7, while for riser 8 one Laminate is used.
  • the extension is the Step 7 a convexly shaped, rounded area 6 of the step strip 3.
  • steps 7, 8 are each provided with a groove into which a tongue 10, 11 engages on the stop surfaces 4, 5.
  • the free ends of the legs 1, 2 are each rounded.
  • the legs 1, 2 each have a flat depression 12, 13 on.
  • these steps 7, 8 can have a flat elevation with which the Steps 7, 8 are clipped into the recesses 12, 13.
  • the step 3 can be a hollow profile with a continuous Recess 14 may be formed.
  • the tread bar 3 occupies approximately a quarter circle. It is however, according to FIG. 2, it is also possible to close the kick strip 3 'in the direction of the legs 1, 2 extend.
  • the extended areas, which are essentially parallel with their outer edge to the legs 1, 2, are designated 15, 16.
  • the ends of these elongated Areas 15, 16 then form the abutment surfaces 4, 5.
  • FIG. 2 the installation position of the Assembly profile shown, in which the step 7 'of a laminate and the setting step 8 'are formed by a parquet.
  • FIG. It is designed for connections at which tread and riser have very different thicknesses 18, 19.
  • apex 17 which is formed by the two legs 1 and 2, therefore opposite the apex 23 of the rounded area 6 both vertically in the direction of the higher stop surface 4 as also offset horizontally away from leg 1.
  • the step 7 "stands up in the direction the step bar 3 beyond the apex 17.
  • the stop surface 4 can be made significantly higher than the stop surface 5.
  • the rounded area 6 of the tread bar has a changing radius of curvature and corresponds at its edges approximately to the height of the subsequent step / riser 7 '', 8 ''.
  • a recess 14 ' is provided, which extends in the longitudinal direction through the kick strip 3 runs.
  • the recess 14 'advantageously has the shape of a groove, which is opens to the inside of the angle formed by legs 1 and 2.
  • the groove opening lies on the side of the leg 1 on which the step 8 "thicker than step 7" is applied.
  • the groove 14 'advantageously runs essentially parallel to the Stop surface 4 of the thicker step.
  • the open design of the recess 14 ' is simplified the production of the profile and leads to significant material savings.
  • FIG. 4 shows an embodiment in which the rounded region 6 of the kick strip 3 extends over a Web 20 is connected to the apex 17 of the legs 1, 2.
  • the web 20 is aligned with one of the legs 1 or 2, in the present example the leg 2.
  • the web 20 engages in the curvature edge region 25 of the kick strip 3 on the inside thereof.
  • the one Leg 1 facing side of the web 20 advantageously serves as a stop surface 4 for the stage (not shown) attached to leg 1.
  • Step (not shown) is made by inserting the step under the curvature end portion 24 the step 3 formed a stop.
  • the Step bar 3 By reaching over the step / riser, the Step bar 3 a simple and practical bracket and protection against that Ingress of dirt into otherwise existing vertical joints. This profile is material-saving and easy to manufacture.
  • the embodiment shown in Figure 5 largely corresponds to the fourth Embodiment. However, it has a web 20 with the two legs 1 and 2 each includes an obtuse angle. The exact choice of the angle depends expediently according to the thickness ratio of the stages to be connected.
  • the curvature edge regions 24, 25 of the tread bar 3 are extended so that they are parallel to the respective legs 1 and 2 protrude beyond the apex 17.
  • the Curvature of the rounded region 6 runs so that the radius of curvature in the curvature edge regions 24, 25 approximately the height of the respective step or riser equivalent. In the rounded region 6 in between, the two approach Radii of curvature.
  • the step and riser are under the protruding extensions the curvature edge regions 24, 25 inserted.
  • the stop for the inserted Steps are formed on the edge of the web 20 near the apex.
  • Figure 6 shows an assembly profile which largely corresponds to the profile of Figure 5. Indeed the rounded area 6 of the tread bar 3 essentially has the contour of a Circle segment with constant radius. Projections are provided on the inside, which serve as stop faces 4, 5.
  • the web 20 engages in the middle of the rounded area of the kick strip 3.
  • the web 20 itself is angled.
  • the close to the apex, aligned with the leg 2 Leg of the web 20 is dimensioned so that the existing between the step and riser Height difference is compensated. He is expediently in alignment with the leg 2, which creates an extension of the leg 2.
  • the thickness of the web 20 is advantageously chosen so that the side of the web 20 facing the leg 1 in this area is aligned with the stop surface 4, as a result of which a second stop surface 4 ' arises.
  • the second leg of the web 20 extends at an obtuse angle of approximately 135 ° to the first leg of the web towards the rounded area 6 of the kick strip 3.
  • step and riser are in each case in the edge area 24, 25 below the Kick bar 3 pushed until they abut the respective stop surfaces 4, 4 ', 5.
  • the angular design of the web 20 allows a central attack on the one hand Step bar 3 and at the same time a useful one with regard to the stages to be combined Relocation of the step ledge 3 to the apex 17.
  • the web cross section can be instead of one Angle also one or more curvatures or other appropriate non-rectilinear Show course.
