Definitions
- the invention relates to a handgun according to the Preamble of claim 1.
- the well-known handgun preferably a rapid-fire rifle, has an external thread at the front end of the barrel on which a muzzle flash damper is attached.
- This known muzzle flash damper consists of a Rifle with an internal thread at the rear end which is the muzzle flash damper on the external thread of the Rapid fire rifle can be screwed tight.
- a cylindrical bore section adjoins the internal thread whose diameter is only slightly larger than the largest diameter of the barrel bore; the purpose of this cylindrical section is the mouth of the barrel to protect from damage caused by improper cleaning can occur.
- On the cylindrical Section includes nozzle-like to the front end of the muzzle fire damper Section of the bore.
- the side wall of the nozzle section is penetrated by radial openings, which are usually called Longitudinal slots are formed.
- the front peripheral edge of the nozzle section faces two in the transverse direction opposite notches on which to attach a wrench-like tool to serve the Muzzle fire damper to screw on the barrel or from Unscrew barrel.
- the muzzle flash damper can also open flats on the outside to attach a Have wrench.
- a similar maneuver cartridge device essentially has one cylindrical block with a central blind hole in which a can is inserted, the back is open and the inside diameter is significantly smaller than that of the run.
- the block On the front part of the outer circumference the block has at least one spiral groove. This stands through at least one cross hole with the blind hole in Connection. The block is welded into a sleeve, see above that the spiral groove is covered from the outside.
- the muzzle flash damper protects sustained the barrel muzzle because it was never unscrewed from it becomes.
- the muzzle flash damper can also be warm be screwed on or shrunk on so that it can be used with simple means is not solvable. It’s even possible weld the muzzle flash damper or in one piece to manufacture with the barrel. For the muzzle flash damper and its attachment can thus be the cheapest procedure be elected since he is not, as has been the case up to now, by the troops must be unscrewable.
- the maneuvering device from a single To manufacture piece that with a back open Hole can be pushed over the muzzle fire damper.
- the block in the front Area of a sleeve is attached, the rear area can be slid over the muzzle fire damper.
- the sleeve can not only have a spiral groove in the seal the cylindrical outer surface of the block, see above that a helical gas outlet channel is created, but the sleeve can be as simple, with a through hole equipped workpiece are manufactured, whose rear section matches the outside diameter of the Muzzle fire damper is formed. This points preferably a largely cylindrical outer contour.
- the block can be welded into the sleeve, for example are, but is preferably by means of a pressed Cross pin attached in the sleeve. So must be in the manufacture no heat distortion can be expected, which at Mating surfaces of the maneuvering cartridge device according to the invention could cause difficulties.
- the target area for gas pressure is therefore only a little larger than the cross-sectional area of the barrel, so that the necessary to hold the device on the mouth Force is minimized. This is particularly important if by mistake a sharp cartridge is attached Gun cartridge device is shot down because in addition to of the projectile energy acting on the device particularly high gas pressure occurs.
- a preferred further training also takes this accident into account, after which with the maneuver cartridge device attached Transition between the end section and the narrowed Blind hole within the widening hole of the Muzzle flash damper. If a projectile in the narrow blind hole occurs, then this and with it the end spout widened; who used up here Deformation work reduces the impulse when the Projectile to the bottom of the blind hole. The expansion of the However, the end connector is only made at such a point, that the muzzle flash damper is not due to the expansion Is affected. After removing the damaged one The weapon itself remains with the maneuver cartridge device Muzzle flash damper undamaged.
- the maneuvering cartridge device according to the invention can, for example like the well-known through a threaded connection on Muzzle flash absorbers are attached. It can also if the barrel is sufficiently thick, even that Grasp the muzzle flash damper and into a thread on the Intervene barrel. As a rule, it is immediately noticeable if the maneuver cartridge device is not far enough is swept up. But it is, as further below, closer is explained, also possible and even advantageous, that Maneuver cartridge device using a different type of holder to attach, which is about a projection of the Muzzle fire damper reaches behind, so that Maneuver cartridge device with a single one Handle can be mounted.
- the maneuver cartridge device must therefore be placed under Overcoming the force of the compression spring on the muzzle flash damper be pressed until the bracket engages and holds the maneuver cartridge device; is not that If so, the compression spring pushes the maneuvering cartridge device back to the front, where its location clearly indicates that no attachment has taken place.
- This compression spring device also has the advantage despite great tolerances, the perfect fit of the maneuvering cartridge device to ensure and to on the muzzle prevent it from rattling, wobbling, and itself consequently more and more deflects and loosens.
- the sleeve has passages, which are arranged so that when the compression spring is relaxed, i.e. with the maneuver cartridge device attached but not attached, the powder gases through the Muzzle fire damper and the passages mentioned escape. Does the shooter 's attention escape that the maneuver cartridge device is not attached and therefore is pushed forward by the compression spring and fires Then protect a maneuver cartridge, then it will Maneuver cartridge device not like a rifle grenade hurled in front, but the powder gases can move sideways flow out; at most, the maneuver cartridge device falls Ground.
- a soft plastic ring or the like could be used as a seal. be used advantageously; according to the invention (claim 3) however, it is preferred that the seal at least has a piston ring-like sealing ring.
- Such a Sealing ring can be made of steel, hard and possibly reinforced Plastic or other piston ring material exist and has because of the stiff piston ring material the advantage that this is not in a big one Gap between the end connector and the bore wall due to the pressure can be pressed into it. So they are bigger, still permissible tolerances possible.
- the maneuver cartridge device could screwed to the muzzle flash damper or barrel. According to claim 4, however, it is particularly advantageous that with the maneuver cartridge device pushed onto the muzzle flash damper its rear end over a shoulder or the rear end of the muzzle flash damper forming a shoulder extends and that at the rear end of the Maneuver cartridge device one behind the shoulder Lock is attached.
- the maneuver cartridge device is therefore attached so that it is in a handle, so to speak can be put on, the above Compression spring ensures that it is only in when you put it on its position remains when the lock is effective has become.
- the catch could have radial claws that the reach behind the shoulder. Preferred (claim 5) but the locking from a non-radial, transverse Blocking element formed. This can be done via a engage a larger angular range with the shoulder as a radial element, so that only one such Locking element can be completely sufficient.
- the locking element in a Cross groove of the maneuvering cartridge device or its sleeve can be moved is arranged, and that the locking element a Training that is not fully held Locking element over the outer contour of the maneuvering cartridge device or its sleeve, preferably on the top, protrudes.
- the locking element thus forms a clearly visible one Signs of whether the lock is closed or not if the compression spring or the like due to dirt. should be ineffective if after a long time Use of the weapon in maneuvering from any Reasons should loosen the locking element.
- the locking element is preferably according to claim 7 Jack formed, which is pivotable at one end in the Cross groove is mounted, the pawl by means of a Pawl spring with its free end in a counter training is pressed and trained as a handle is in the transverse groove with the latch fully held fully immersed.
- the reference numeral 1 shows the mouth of the barrel Rapid fire rifle, which has an external thread 3, behind which a protruding collar 5 is formed. With 7 the soul axis of barrel 1 is designated, which the Central axis of barrel 1, the muzzle fire damper 9 and of the maneuvering cartridge device 25.
- the muzzle flash damper 9 is from a central bore interspersed, the individual sections from back to front in succession the following are: a center hole 11, which is centered on the collar 5, a Internal thread section 13, which on the external thread 3rd is screwed on, a coaxial, cylindrical bore 15, whose diameter is larger than that of the barrel bore, and an expanding bore 17 with a cylindrical Section begins whose diameter is larger than that of the coaxial cylindrical bore 15, and in a section that widens conically towards the front transforms.
- the wall of the muzzle fire damper 9 is in the range of widening bore 17 of six longitudinal slots 19th which penetrates the scattering of the muzzle of barrel 1 cause launching gases.
- the maneuvering cartridge device 25 has an outer, tubular one Sleeve 27 on, in which the rear part of the inner bore is designed to fit over the muzzle flash damper 9 to be put off.
- the front fifth of the inner bore of the sleeve 27 has a slightly smaller diameter than the rest Inner bore and merges into this in a paragraph.
- the front end of the inner bore is again in diameter downsized.
- the head points an essentially cylindrical outer contour and sits fits in the foremost fifth of the inner bore of the sleeve 27, where it ends shortly before its reduced front end.
- In the peripheral surface of the head is a two-course Trapezoidal thread cut, the groove of which faces outwards from the Inner wall of the sleeve 27 is covered, so that a helical Channel 37 is formed.
- the shoulder 33 is cup-shaped, with one after rear open, central recess by a circumferential cuff is surrounded. This circumferential cuff fits fits in the larger part of the inner bore, on its shoulder the shoulder 33 sits.
- This circumferential cuff fits fits in the larger part of the inner bore, on its shoulder the shoulder 33 sits.
- Through the circumferential sleeve of the Shoulder 33 and the wall of the sleeve 27 extends indented pin 49, which the block 29 in the sleeve 27th holds on, but can be penetrated inside, so that, if necessary, for repair purposes, the Block 29 can be removed from the sleeve 27.
- a central end connector 35 Extending from the center of the bottom of the recess a central end connector 35 to the rear, the middle of a blind hole 39 is penetrated, the front in the head 31st ends.
- the blind bore is just before reaching its end 39 through a transverse bore (no reference number) with the connected to the rear end of the helical channel 37.
- the blind bore 39 opens into one coming from the front Initial section 41 with an enlarged diameter, the at the rear end of the end connector, the bore of the barrel 1 opposite (Fig. 1), opens.
- the diameter of the Initial section 41 is a little larger than the inside diameter of barrel 1, while the diameter of the Blind hole 39 is significantly smaller.
- the conical transition lies between the initial section 41 and the blind bore with a maneuvering cartridge device in the area of the rear end of the expanding bore 17 (Fig. 1).
- the lock 53 is constructed as follows: in one Cross groove 57 (Fig. 2) is near the rear end of the sleeve 27 a transverse pawl 55 arranged with a Elongated hole (58) is pivotally mounted on a longitudinal pin (56) is arranged near one end of the transverse groove 57. there a pawl spring 59 presses the pawl 55 from the longitudinal pin path. There is a second one near the other end of the transverse groove Longitudinal pin (60) arranged, and the free end of the pawl 55th has a notch that is complementary to the contour of the second longitudinal pin is formed.
- the pawl 55 has a handle 61 on its upper side on, the tip of which, when the pawl 55 is engaged, straight into the Submerge Quernut 57 so that it is flush with the top edge completes.
- the pawl 55 When placing the maneuvering cartridge device 25 on the muzzle flash damper 9, the pawl 55 is so far up folded that it releases the inner contour of the sleeve 27. Now the maneuvering cartridge device 25 against the force of the Compression spring 47 pushed back until the shoulder 33 on the front end edge of the muzzle fire damper 9 is seated. Now the handle 61 on the pawl 55 with your thumb pressed down and the pawl 55 is in the transverse groove 57 pivoted downwards. The pawl 55 dives into the transverse groove 57 until the handle 61 is under the thumb slips out and completely at the top of it the transverse groove 57 is pressed.
- the launch gases occur into the blind bore 39 and pass through the transverse bore (no reference number) into the helical channel 37, which they leave at its front end, passing through the sleeve 27 emerge. Any particles that are in the Gas flow entrained also get into the helical channel 37 and pass it with such a high Speed that after leaving through the Centrifugal force pressed against the inner surface of the sleeve 27 where they are then slowed down before they get this can leave through its narrowed mouth. Because of the high flow resistance of the outflow path Blind bore 39, cross bore and helical channel 37 there is a gas jam, the gas pressure in run 1 so far let the rapid-fire rifle rise all Can perform charging functions without problems.
- the sleeve 27 has passages 63; if the maneuver cartridge device 25 is not locked and the position of Fig. 4 takes, and if in this state a cartridge is fired, then the launch gases escape through the Longitudinal slots 19 of the muzzle fire damper 9 and Passages 63 in the sleeve 27 of the maneuvering cartridge device 25.
