Definitions
- the invention relates to a method for cleaning illustrated Printing forms of imaging residues according to the preamble of claim 1.
- the plate imaging, e.g. B. directly in the printing press without a conventional one Disk copy is done using a computer, which data for in a grid Image processor to generate bitmap files from electronic publishing systems takes over and sends a bitmap to the printing units for each printing ink.
- There each of the print heads depicts specially coated printing forms Printing form cylinders.
- the printing forms can have a three-layer structure have, e.g. with a carrier layer based on polyester, one on the Backing layer applied printing layer based on titanium, which can have infrared absorbing properties, and one on the printing Non-printing layer based on silicone, e.g. Silicone rubber.
- Such printing forms can be used in offset printing without dampening solution Dry offset - can be used.
- the printing forms can be used as printing plates or - Films are clamped onto the printing form cylinder or in some other way these are applied.
- the application of a liquid layer on the Printing form surface with subsequent hardening of the layer is possible.
- the ablative imaging can be done using a print head, e.g. by sparks generated by electrodes or by sparks generated by laser diodes Laser beams on the printing form the color-guiding layer is exposed, the non-printing cover layer at the printing points, the pixels, thermally is decomposed or evaporated. As residues of this imaging process there remain particles and conversion products of the non-printing and also the possibly slightly attacked printing layer on the printing Areas of the printing form.
- imaging residues must be removed so that good color acceptance at these points and no toning occurs and on High quality print image is achieved.
- the removal of the imaging residues can be done manually and / or mechanically by means of a cleaning device, by using a cleaning organ, e.g. a cleaning cloth under well-dosed pressure the printing form surface a - e.g. by rotating the plate cylinder rack-fixed cleaning organ - relative movement to the cleaned Printing form surface executes.
- the printing plate cleaning fluid can before and during the cleaning process towards the cleaning member and / or the cleaning printing surface applied, e.g. are sprayed.
- Cleaning fluids containing isopropanol can be used for cleaning printing forms with a printing layer based on titanium and a non-printing layer based on silicone containing alcohol.
- Such Cleaning fluids are also used in printing machines for cleaning rollers and Cylinders of paint residues and other contaminants used.
- the low flash point of the isopropanol contained that at the Printing form cleaning evaporating isopropanol can together with the Ambient air form a flammable gas mixture and with one of the Printing plate cleaning immediately following another imaging process the high temperatures caused by these are ignited.
- the invention has for its object to provide a method with which thorough cleaning of a printing form of imaging residues can be achieved, and to propose a cleaning fluid for use in printing plate cleaning, by which the disadvantages of the above-mentioned prior art are avoided will.
- a cleaning organ a defined contact pressure on the to be cleaned Printing form surface exerts a relative movement between printing form and Cleaning organ takes place and a cleaning fluid on the to be cleaned Printing form surface is applied and using a cleaning fluid which contains a cleaning concentrate in addition to water as a component, the 1st up to 30% by mass, preferably 20 to 30% by mass, anionic surfactants and 1 to 30 percent by mass, preferably 20 to 30 percent by mass, nonionic Contains surfactants.
- an anionic surfactant alkylbenzenesulfonate and nonionic surfactant, alcohol ethoxylate can be used.
- the Cleaning concentrate can contain 0.1 to 5 percent by weight of regreasing components contain. Fatty acid diethanolamides or Carbonic acid amide can be used.
- the cleaning concentrate can be 1 to 25 Mass percent solubilizers, preservatives, e.g. B 0.05 to 3 Mass percent preservative, a disinfectant Sodium silver chloride complex base, complexing agents, e.g. B. 0.1 to 2 Mass percent hardness stabilizers included.
- that Cleaning concentrate contain water.
- the cleaning fluid 1 up to 25 percent by volume of cleaning concentrate.
- can Cleaning fluid contain 1 to 2.5 percent by volume of cleaning concentrate.
- the negative decat logarithm of the Hydrogen ion concentration of the cleaning fluid has a value between 5 and 8 exhibit.
- Suitable cleaning organs can be Wipes - especially wipeable towels - or tapes, rollers, brushes, Brush rollers and pressure elements with fabric, plush and fleece-like or different surface structure with suction and / or cleaning action use.
- the cleaning member can preferably be rotated with a printing plate cylinder much slower speed than the machine speed - in so-called creeper - take place. An additional traversing movement of the Cleaning device in the direction of the plate cylinder axis is possible. There can be several Cleaning cycles, e.g.
- the method according to the invention can be used both for the cleaning of images Offset printing form of the conventional offset process using a Fountain solution and for cleaning dry offset printing forms for the waterless Offset printing as well as for cleaning illustrated printing forms of the direct Flat printing (Dilitho) as well as for cleaning in the computer to press or Use the computer-to-plate process to print images directly illustrated, if the have a non-printing layer based on silicone.
- Fig. 1 is the construction of an imageable printing form, consisting of a stable Carrier layer 1 based on polyester, e.g. 0.18 mm thick, a printing Layer 2 based on titanium and a non-printing layer 3 based on silicone, by e.g. 2-3 ⁇ m thickness, shown, on the bottom of the pixel 4, e.g. 35 ⁇ m diameter, there are imaging residues 5, 6 to be removed.
- a stable Carrier layer 1 based on polyester e.g. 0.18 mm thick
- a printing Layer 2 based on titanium
- a non-printing layer 3 based on silicone, by e.g. 2-3 ⁇ m thickness, shown, on the bottom of the pixel 4, e.g. 35 ⁇ m diameter, there are imaging residues 5, 6 to be removed.
- Fig. 2 an advantageously designed cleaning member 7, 8 is shown, the further cleaning cloth 8 by an elastic pressure element 7 against the Surface of the printing form 9 which is clamped on the printing form cylinder 10 can, can be employed.
- the contact pressure can be a Organ 11 which can be acted upon by a pressure medium, e.g. a pressurizable air Profile hose element, defined.
- printing form 9 can be fed directly onto the printing form 9, such as shown, or on an application and / or cleaning roller, e.g. a brush roller, is sprayed on or by using a pressure element, in particular one with Capillary effect of the material, and a cleanable cleaning cloth on the Printing form 9 is applied.
- the printing form cylinder 10 leads in the crawl gear Printing machine rotary movements of both directions of rotation driven by the drive of the printing press. This way both Imaging residues 5 behind the leading edges of the printing Pixel as well as the imaging residues 6 at the angle of the trailing Edges safely removed by the cleaning element (see Figure 1).
- the Pressing element 7 and the cleaning cloth 8 can during the cleaning process Carry out an oscillating movement in the direction of the printing cylinder axis.
- the cleaning concentrate can also contain preservatives and Contain complexing agents, which depend on the mass of the Cleaning concentrate related percentages of these components can preferably be less than 1%.
- the resulting mass difference between the sum of the above proportions and 100% can consist of water.
- the pH value of the cleaning concentrate can be 7.
