Claims (9)

  1. Compas avec une première branche (1) qui supporte une pointe de centrage (2) et qui est reliée de façon articulée au corps d'une seconde branche (4) laquelle supporte un élément traceur (10), dans lequel la première (1) ou la seconde (4) branche supporte un élément de préhension (11) pour dessiner et l'élément de préhension (11) est relié de façon rigide à la branche (4) le supportant et comporte une zone (12) avec une surface pour l'essentiel symétrique en rotation par rapport à un axe (13), dont le diamètre, partant d'une valeur maximum, se rétrécit axialement dans les deux directions à la façon d'une boule, caractérisé en ce que l'axe (13) de la zone (12) de l'élément de préhension (11) présente par rapport à l'axe (18) de la branche (4) reliée de façon rigide à l'élément de préhension (11) une inclinaison de l'ordre de 15 degrés par rapport à l'élément traceur (10) s'étendant entre un coussinet à vis (5) de l'articulation entre les branches (1, 4) et une pointe (17) de l'élément traceur (10) de telle sorte que, lorsque l'écartement du compas est d'environ 30 degrés dans le cas de longueurs de ses branches (1, 4) approximativement identiques, entre le coussinet à vis (5) et l'extrémité de la pointe de centrage (2) ou, selon les cas, de l'élément traceur (10), l'axe (13) de la zone (12) de l'élément de préhension (11) se trouve dans un plan parallèle à la bissectrice entre les branches (1, 4).

Compas selon la revendication 1, caractérisé en ce que la première branche (1) est disposée, avec son point d'articulation (5) visant à la fixer à la seconde branche (4), dans une fente longitudinale (3) dans le corps de la seconde branche (4), la fente longitudinale (3) englobant ce faisant de préférence la première branche (1, 7) dans le cas de faibles écartements et agissant de façon stabilisatrice sur la stabilité de torsion entre les branches.
  3. Compas selon l'une des revendications 1 ou 2, caractérisé en ce qu'un élément de raccordement effilé (14) de l'élément de préhension (11) à la branche (4) le supportant présente une surface qui est obtenue par rotation d'un cercle ou d'un élément circulaire également plan autour de l'axe (13) de la zone (12), qui, dans le plan du cercle, est situé à distance de sa face convexe.
  4. Compas selon l'une des revendications 1 à 3, caractérisé en ce que la surface essentiellement symétrique en rotation de la zone (12) de l'élément de préhension (11) présente des stries ou des creux ou des excroissances comparables au niveau de leur action.
  5. Compas selon l'une des revendications 1 à 4, caractérisé en ce que la surface essentiellement symétrique en rotation de la zone (12) de l'élément de préhension (11) est fabriquée dans un matériau qui présente un fort coefficient de frottement contre la peau des doigts d'un utilisateur.
  6. Compas selon l'une des revendications 1 à 5, caractérisé en ce que la surface essentiellement symétrique en rotation de la zone (12) de l'élément de préhension (11) est celle d'une partie d'un ellipsoïde de révolution avec des demi-axes à peine différents.
  7. Compas selon l'une des revendications 1 à 6, caractérisé en ce que la seconde branche (4) comporte des moyens (8, 9) pour la mise en place et la fixation d'outils d'écriture amovibles, tels que crayon, stylo à bille, ou équivalents en tant qu'élément traceur (10).
  8. Compas selon l'une des revendications 1 à 7, caractérisé en ce que la valeur maximale du diamètre de la zone (12), avec la surface essentiellement symétrique en rotation, est comprise dans une gamme dont les valeurs sont inférieures à l'épaisseur des doigts d'un utilisateur.
  9. Compas selon l'une des revendications 1 à 8, caractérisé en ce qu'un élément de préhension élargi (15) est prévu dans la première branche (1) pour améliorer la maniabilité.
