Definitions

  • the invention relates to swimming goggles with distance adjustment between the left and right eye protection according to claim 1.
  • the US2007 / 0022521 A1 swimming goggles with an elastic connecting element between the left and right eye protection. To adjust the distance between the two eye protection elements, this can be fixed in different lengths on the left and right eye protection by means of a nipple and tab connection.
  • one leg end of a noseband connecting these two to one another is arranged on the left and right eye protection, on the side facing the other eye protection, which is adjustable with a thread.
  • This version is in the WO2017 / 194884A1 described.
  • the thread adjustment on the left and right eye protection is carried out separately using a screwdriver. In such a way that by turning the screw thread, the yoke of the noseband is moved upwards and away from the eye protection in question, or vice versa, downwards, towards it.
  • a change in distance between the left and the right eye protection is simultaneously effected.
  • swimming goggles have become known in which the distance adjustment of the noseband between the left and right eye protection consists of a rotatable rotating body which is adjustably arranged in the center area between two connection brackets on the frame side and which each have two oppositely acting ends Threaded screw connections are connected to corner pieces that are integrated in the socket of the eye protection.
  • the corner pieces are fastened with vertically directed rivet bolts and tongues are arranged in the corner pieces, a threaded nut being fitted in each tongue.
  • the one threaded nut forms a left-hand thread and the opposite threaded nut in the corner piece forms a right-hand thread, threaded bolts being formed on the end face of the rotating body, which engage in the associated thread of the threaded nuts.
  • the rotating body is rotated in one direction with the fingers of one hand, the distance between the eyes is reduced. If it is rotated in the opposite direction, the interpupillary distance is increased.
  • the articulated connection between the corner pieces that support the threaded nuts and the socket is formed by the rivet bolts, so that only rotation in the vertical axis around the rivet bolts is possible in order to flexibly form the nose clip.
  • the said swimming goggles have the disadvantage that the two corner pieces can be rotated against each other, which is largely prevented in the known swimming goggles by the fact that between the Eye protection in the area of the nose piece is still an elastic, film-like attachment piece, which protects the two eye protection glasses against rotation in a certain range of rotation.
  • WO 2019/036629 A1 belongs to the state of the art according to Article 54 (3) EPC.
  • This document discloses swimming goggles with distance adjustment, comprising left and right eye protection, which is held in a frame and adjusting means for adjusting the distance between the left and right eye protection consisting of a rotatable rotating body
  • the invention is therefore based on the object of developing swimming goggles of the type mentioned in such a way that the two eye protection glasses cannot be rotated or tilted against one another, even when the distance setting is actuated, and better handling of the swimming goggles is ensured.
  • the invention is characterized by the technical teaching of claim 1.
  • connection brackets have an anti-rotation lock, which prevents the connection brackets from rotating relative to one another in the holder.
  • the swimming goggles according to the invention are therefore no longer dependent on an elastic connection which bridges the nose and which is arranged between the eye glasses, but the anti-rotation device is itself moved into the distance setting.
  • the anti-rotation device consists of a sleeve body which overlaps the rotating body and with its two ends are non-rotatably connected to the respective connection bracket.
  • connection bracket consists of a groove-snap connection. This has the advantage that the sleeve body can be snapped on slightly or pushed in the axial direction onto the two opposite connection brackets, as a result of which the anti-rotation lock between the connection brackets is realized.
  • the anti-rotation device consists of a connecting rod which axially passes through the rotating body and the two connection brackets and is fixed in a rotationally fixed manner in the two opposite connection brackets.
  • each connection bracket consists of an approximately cylindrical head part, in which one part of the counter-rotating threaded screw connection is arranged.
  • connection bracket is connected in an articulated manner to the frame of the swimming goggles with a ball joint or with an elastic bending joint. This allows the goggles to be perfectly adapted to different wearers' head shapes.
  • the ball joint in the frame of the swimming goggles is designed to be insertable into an associated ball shell.
  • the part of the swimming goggles that connects the two eye glasses can be easily dismantled.
  • the Figure 1 shows a pair of swimming goggles 1 in a perspective view, two eye protection glasses 2 being arranged in a frame 4, each of which carries a front lens 3.
  • the eye protection 2 is fitted in the version 4 of the swimming goggles 1, and two side headbands 12 attach to the version 4, which are connected in the rear area by a connecting buckle 39.
  • the distance 7 between the discs 3 is designed to be adjustable in accordance with the eye distance 14 by the adjusting device according to the invention in the area of the noseband.
  • setting means 6 are provided, which in the exemplary embodiment shown consist of a rotating body 16, which is only shown in the following figures and over which a sleeve body 8, 8a (see the following figures) overlaps.
  • connection bracket 5 in the socket 4 is preferably carried out by a ball joint 27, which is explained in more detail with reference to the following figures.
  • connection bracket 5 instead of the articulated connection of the connection bracket 5 to the socket 4, it can also be provided that the ball joint 27 is omitted and instead an articulated bending connection between the foot side of the connection bracket 5 and version 4 is provided.
  • a bending connection consists of an elastic bending rod, which is attached or molded with its two ends to the associated components.
  • connection brackets 5 are of exactly the same design and each connection bracket consists of an approximately cylindrically shaped head part 23, at the front of which a Is molded sleeve approach, in each of which a threaded bore 20, 21 is formed.
  • One threaded bore 20 can be designed, for example, as a left-hand thread and the opposite threaded bore 21 as a right-hand thread.
  • an extension piece 24 is formed, which is directed approximately perpendicular to the longitudinal axis 38 of the head part 23 and merges on its foot side into an angled angle piece 25, at the lower end of which a foot piece 26 is formed, at the lower end thereof a spherical shell 28 is formed to form the aforementioned ball joint 27.
  • the spherical shell 28 engages in a bore, not shown in the area of the socket 4, and as a pull-out protection, d. H.
  • a knob 40 can be arranged on the base piece 26, which protrudes positively into the hole on the socket side and a recess arranged there and serves as a pull-out protection.
  • the angling of the angle piece 25 with the foot piece 26 formed thereon in the same direction about the inclination axis 29 has the advantage that a large actuation space and a large actuation area are defined between the connection brackets 5, in order to make it simple and easy to grip Actuation of a rotatable body 16 arranged there to achieve. Miniaturization of the setting part is prevented as it had to be accepted in the prior art.
  • the rotating body 16 is preferably designed as a plastic part and has a profiled grip sleeve 17, on the opposite end faces of which threaded bolts 18, 19 are formed, the threads of which correspond to the thread of the associated, opposite threaded bores 20, 21.
  • the rotating body 16 is overlapped at least on its upper side by a sleeve body 8 which has at least one upper handle window 9, which is formed as a recess in the approximately semicircular profiled sleeve body 8.
  • the side surface of the sleeve body 8 is provided with a lateral cutout 11, and the sleeve body is only semicircular in order to produce a cheap, almost completely circumferential grip surface for the fingers of one hand for rotating the rotating body 16.
  • the anti-rotation device is formed in that a groove-snap connection between the sleeve body 8 and the two mutually opposite connection brackets 5 is formed in that, for example, longitudinal profiles 13 directed towards one another are formed on the inside of the profile of the sleeve body 8, which engage in assigned longitudinal grooves 15 the underside of the respective head part 23 of the connecting bracket 5 can either be snapped in or pushed on.
  • connection brackets 5 the connection brackets 5
  • a knob-shaped guide projection 22 is arranged on the upper side of the respective head part 23, which engages in an associated longitudinal groove 31 formed on the inside of the sleeve body 8 and can be displaced there is.
  • the sleeve body 8 is pushed onto the two connection brackets 5 in the direction of the longitudinal axis 38.
  • FIG. 4 shows the fully assembled state of the first embodiment according to the invention, where it can be seen that a rotation of the rotating body 16 now results in a displacement of the connection bracket 5 in the arrow directions 33, the connection bracket being displaced along the sleeve body 8 due to the snap-in connection 13, 15 .
  • the Figure 5 shows the kinematic reversal of the threaded screw connection between the rotating body 16 and the associated connection bracket 5a.
  • the rotary body 16a shown there has threaded bores 20a, 21a lying opposite one another and aligned with one another on the end face, which are embodied in opposite directions to one another and into which the associated threaded bolts 18a, 19a engage, which are now formed on the connecting brackets 5a.
  • the entire setting means is therefore designated by reference number 6a.
  • the sleeve body 8a is of approximately the same design because it also has the previously described anti-rotation device with the longitudinal guide.
  • FIGS. 6 to 8 show a further embodiment, in which the anti-rotation is formed by a centrally located connecting rod 34, which serves as a pivot bearing for the rotating body 16b, which - according to the embodiment Figure 2 - Is formed with molded bolts 18, 19 on the end face.
  • the connecting rod 34 has threaded bores 35 lying opposite one another and aligned with one another, into each of which a locking screw 36 can be screwed, which is fastened in the region of a disk 37 arranged on the end face to the end face of the respective connecting bracket 5b.
  • the disc 37 is preferably glued in.
  • the Figure 7 shows the assembled state, while the Figure 8 shows an exploded view.
  • FIG. 9 shows a further embodiment, in which it can be seen that a rotating body 16c is provided with molded-in, mutually aligned threaded bores 20a, 21a and the threaded bores 20a, 21a are in engagement with the associated, opposing threaded bolts 18a, 19a, which are directly engaged are integrally formed on the connection bracket 5a.
  • a longitudinal guide displaceable in the axial direction can be provided between the sleeve part 8 and the connection brackets 5a.
