Abstract

Ein unterer Abschluß von Türen oder Fenstern mit einem Profil, das im Einbau eine obere, eine untere, eine innere und eine äußere Seite aufweist, hat erfindungsgemäß im Bereich der unteren Seite eine Rasteinrichtung, die es ermöglicht, Verbreiterungen auf einfache Art und Weise anzubringen. <IMAGE>

Description

Die Erfindung betrifft einen unteren Abschluß von Türen oder Fenstern mit einem Profil, das im Einbau eine obere, eine untere, eine innere und eine äußere Seite aufweist.
Derartige untere Abschlußprofile sind im Bereich des Einbaus von Türen oder Fenstern weit verbreitet und bilden bspw. die Türschwelle, die auf einem harten Untergrund befestigt wird. Da der Abstand zwischen unterem Abschluß und hartem Untergrund je nach baulicher Situation sehr unterschiedlich ist, werden im Stand der Technik Holzstücke dazwischengelegt, die diesen Abstand überbrücken.
Das deutsche Gebrauchsmuster 296 04 366 schlägt zwischen Türschwelle und hartem Untergrund anbringbare Verbreiterungen aus Kunststoff vor, die in das Türschwellenprofil eingeschoben werden. In der Parxis sind diese Elemente jedoch nur schwer ineinanderzuschieben, da die notwendige genaue Passung zwischen den Elementen meist nicht gewährleistet ist. Auch in die Führungen eindringende Verunreinigungen erschweren häufig das Einschieben des Verbreiterungselementes in die Führung an der Türschwelle.
Der Erfindung liegt daher die Aufgabe zugrunde, eine einfache Art der Befestigung einer Verbreiterung unterhalb einer Türschwelle vorzuschlagen.
Diese Aufgabe wird mit einem gattungsgemäßen unteren Abschluß gelöst, der eine Verlängerung aufweist, die mittels einer Rasteinrichtung im Bereich der unteren Seite einrastbar ist, um das Profil nach unten zu verlängern. Dadurch wird eine einfache schnelle Verbindung zwischen Profil und Verlängerung erzielt.
Der Rastmechanismus erlaubt ein einfaches Anrücken der unteren Verlängerung, ohne daß die Verlängerung aufwendig in eine Führung eingefädelt werden muß. Die Flexibilität der Rasteinrichtung sorgt dabei dafür, daß auch bei Verunreinigungen ein einfaches Rasten gewährleistet ist.
Das deutsche Gebrauchsmuster 79 08 718 beschreibt zwar eine Rasteinrichtung an einer Bodenschwelle mit Laufschiene. Dieser untere Abschluß hat jedoch keine untere Seite und es besteht daher die Gefahr, daß bei starker Gewichtsbelastung im Bereich der Laufschiene die U-förmigen Schenkel sich aufspreizen oder anderweitig unerwünscht verformen. Um dieser Verformung entgegenzuwirken, wird eine untere Seite rastend eingesetzt, die die unteren Schenkel zusammenhält. Die eingerastete Klammer ist jedoch nicht als Verbreiterung ausgebildet oder zu verwenden.
Vorteilhaft ist es, wenn die Rasteinrichtung vorstehende Elemente aufweist, um mit den Federelementen zusammenzuwirken. Somit können an der Verlängerung angeformte aus Kunststoff bestehende Federelemente in die vorstehenden Elemente der Rasteinrichtung eingreifen, um eine sichere Verbindung zu erzielen.
Eine weitere Ausgestaltungsform sieht vor, daß im Bereich der unteren Seite ein nach unten offenes U-Profil befestigt ist und am unteren Ende der sich gegenüberliegenden Schenkel des U-Profils eine Halterung für eine Leiste vorgesehen ist. Insbesondere bei Renovierungsschwellen werden teergetränkte Bänder verwendet, um eine Abdichtung zwischen der Türschwelle und dem Untergrund zu erzielen. Hierzu werden die Dichtungsbänder in u-profilförmige Schienen eingelegt. Diese Bänder dehnen sich anschließend aus und bewirken dadurch eine dichte Verbindung zwischen Türschwelle und Boden. Die Halterung am unteren Ende der sich gegenüberliegenden Schenkel erlaubt es eine Leiste einzuschieben, die ein frühzeitiges Ausdehnen des Dehnbandes verhindert und kurz vor Einbau des unteren Abschlußes entfernt werden kann.
Ein Ausführungsbeispiel der Erfindung ist in der Zeichnung dargestellt und wird im folgenden näher beschrieben. Es zeigt

Der in Figur 1 gezeigte untere Abschluß 1 besteht im wesentlichen aus einem Strangpressprofil 2 aus Aluminium das im Einbau eine obere Seite 3 und eine untere Seite 4 aufweist. Die nach innen weisende Seite des Profils ist als innere Seite 5 und die den vorderen Abschluß des Profils bildende Seite ist als äußere Seite 6 bezeichnet.
Dieses Profil dient als unterer Abschluß einer Türe, von der das Türblatt 7 in der Figur dargestellt ist.
Der an den Abschluß 1 nach außen anschließende Bereich ist mit Beton 8 ausgegossen und eine Folie 9 aus Etylen-Propylen-Teer-Kautschuk verläuft von der äußeren Seite 6 des Abschlusses nach unten und unter der Betonschicht derart entlang, daß ein Fließen des unausgehärteten Betons unter den unteren Abschluß 1 der Türe vermieden wird. Diese Folie hat eine Shore-Härte von 40 - 80 Grad, vorzugsweise von etwa 60 Grad.
Diese Folie 9 weist an ihrem einen Ende 10 ein Rastelement 11 auf, das durch eine Öffnung 12 in einen vom Profil 2 gebildeten Raum 13 paßt und sich dort verhakt. Da das Rastelement 11 aus dem flexiblen Folienmaterial hergestellt ist und ein konisches vorderes Ende aufweist, verkleinert es sich beim Eindrücken in die Öffnung 12 und dehnt sich innerhalb des Raumes 13 so aus, daß ein zurückziehen des Rastprofils 11 aus der Öffnung nur unter besonderer Krafteinwirkung möglich ist.
Im in Figur 1 gezeigten Ausführungsbeispiel weist die äußere Seite 6 des Profils 2 eine besonders große Fläche auf und die Rasteinrichtung 12, 13 ist etwa in der Höhe der oberen Seite 3 angeordnet. Dadurch ist es möglich die Folie 9 an der äußeren Seite 6 des Profils 2 zusätzlich mit einer Klebeverbindung zu befestigen.
An der unteren Seite 4 des Profils 2 ist eine weitere Rasteinrichtung 14 vorgesehen, die dazu dient, am Profil 2 eine Verlängerung 15 anzubringen. Diese weitere Rasteinrichtung 14 besteht aus vorstehenden Elementen 16, 17, die eine Wulst am untersten Ende der äußeren Seite 6 und der inneren Seite 5 des Profils 2 bilden. An der Oberseite der Verlängerung 15 sind Federelemente 18, 19 vorgesehen, die sich so nach oben erstrecken, daß sie beim Ansetzen der Verlängerung 15 an das Profil 2 mit den vorstehenden Elementen 16 17 zusammenwirken.
Der beschriebene untere Abschluß 1 erlaubt es, durch die spezielle Ausbildung des Profils 2 beim Einbau des Abschlusses die Verlängerung 15 einfach auf das Profil 2 aufzustecken und das eine Ende 10 der Folie 9 mit ihrem Rastelement 11 in die Öffnung 12 des Profils einzustecken. Dadurch werden aufwendige Schraub- oder Klebearbeiten vollständig überflüssig.
Die in Figur 2 gezeigte alternative Ausführungsform des Profils 2' entspricht im wesentlichen dem in Figur 1 gezeigten Profil 2. Bei dem Profil 2' ist jedoch die obere Seite 3' nach außen so verlängert, daß sie einen Teil der Betonschicht 8 bedeckt. In diesem Fall ist zwischen der Verlängerung 20 der oberen Seite 3' und der äußeren Seite 6' die Rasteinrichtung 12', 13' vorgesehen.
Die Figur 3 zeigt ein drittes Ausführungsbeispiel eines Profil 2', bei dem die innere Seite 5" und die äußere Seite 6" stark verkürzt sind. Bei dieser sogenannten Renovierungsschwelle bildet die Rasteinrichtung 12", 13" im wesentlichen die äußere Seite 6" des Profils 2".
Außerdem ist im Bereich der unteren Seite 4" des Profils 2" ein nach unten offenes U-Profil 21 befestigt, das in Figur 4 genauer zu sehen ist.
Das in Figur 4 gezeigte vergrößert dargestellte Profil 2" zeigt deutlich die Öffnung 12" und den Raum 13" der Rasteinrichtung und das U-förmige Profil 21. Dieses U-Profil 21 hat zwei gegenüberliegende Schenkel 22, 23 die jeweils an ihrem unteren Ende einen Teil einer ab Führung ausgebildeten Halterung 24 aufweisen. Diese Halterung 24 besteht aus sich gegenüberliegenden Nuten, in die eine Leiste 25 einsteckbar ist. Die die Nuten nach unten begrenzenden Schenkel 27, 28 sind dabei länger als die oberen Schenkel, die auch wegfallen können.
Innerhalb des U-Profils 21 befindet sich ein Dehnband 26, dessen Ausdehnung durch die in die Führung 24 eingeführte Leiste 25 verhindert wird. Erst kurz vor dem Einbau des Profils 2" wird die Leiste 25 aus der Führung 24 herausgezogen, um dem Dehnband 26 die Möglichkeit zur Ausdehnung zu geben. Durch die Ausdehnung des Dehnbandes 26 entsteht bei eingebautem Profil 2" eine dichtende Verbindung zwischen dem Profil und der darunter befindlichen Oberfläche.

Claims (3)

  1. Unterer Abschluß (1) von Türen oder Fenstern mit einem Profil (2' 2") das im Einbau eine obere (3, 3'), eine untere (4, 4"), eine innere (5, 5") und eine äußere Seite (6, 6', 6'') aufweist, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß er eine Verlängerung aufweist, die mittels einer Rasteinrichtung (14) im Bereich der unteren Seite (4, 4') einrastbar ist, um das Profil nach unten zu verlängern.
  2. Unterer Abschluß (1) nach Anspruch 1, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß die Rasteinrichtung (14) vorstehende Elemente (16, 17) aufweist, um mit Federelementen (18, 19) zusammenzuwirken.
  3. Unterer Abschluß (1) nach einem der vorherigen Ansprüche, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß im Bereich der unteren Seite (4, 4") ein nach unten offenes U-Profil (21) befestigt ist und am unteren Ende der sich gegenüberliegenden Schenkel (22, 23) des U-Profils (21) eine Halterung (24) für eine Leiste (25) vorgesehen ist.
