Definitions
- the invention has for its object a switch of the type mentioned to develop in such a way that it is inexpensive to manufacture and a space-saving, also allows narrow construction across its wall surfaces. In particular, he should can also cope with high switching currents above 50 A, without having to deal with large ones Suitable larger current cross-sections the solution of the beginning mentioned task is impaired.
- This object is solved by claim 1.
- This solution enables the fixed contacts in a very space-efficient way and yet with a large air space between them in the corners of the housing position. Their knife-edge-like effectiveness compared to the contact bridge ensures good contact.
- Claim 3 enables in this context Particularly space-saving, staggered positioning in the direction of the switch's longitudinal axis of the two fixed contacts with their base parts. This enables compliance a narrow design of the switch or switch housing.
- Claim 4 serves to facilitate the switch assembly while ensuring the Position accuracy of the two fixed contacts.
- the housing is only in two parts. It contains not only the for storage and / or guidance Fixed contacts, but also the moving parts of the switch kinematics only two with their open sides facing each other, made of insulating material, namely the chassis part and the closure part. Both parts contain one of the two substantially parallel side walls.
- the switch housing has approximately the outline shape of a cuboid and its approximately parallel to each other Aligned side walls are the one with several lined-up switches Contact areas to the neighboring switch.
- the chassis part forms one in addition to one of the two said wall surfaces Face, while the closure part next to the other face still the two Contains flank or narrow side walls of the housing.
- the Functional parts - if necessary previously assembled into assemblies - only on put the inside of the chassis part and between there at the one-piece Injection molding of the chassis part molded-in wall projections used fixed.
- the chassis part equipped with the functional parts in such a secured manner becomes drawer-like in the longitudinal direction of the switch until it snaps into one another the closure part inserted.
- Claim 5 long despite the narrow design of the switch sought Creepage distances created for the switching voltage. This creates an arc opposite.
- the switch contains a flat box-shaped insulating material housing 1, which in the essentially has the outline shape of a cuboid.
- the two-part housing is made from the chassis part 2 and the closure part 3 with the purpose of a space-saving Side walls 4 and 5 running approximately parallel to one another.
- the chassis part 2 contains the first of the further outer walls of the switch End wall 6 with bushings for the contact connections 7, 8 and one Through hole 9 for the adjustment of the bimetal 38 described below Locking part 3, on the other hand, contains on externally effective housing walls the side wall 5 still the actuation side, second end wall 10 and the two Flank walls 11, 12 of the housing 1.
- the manual transmission is located approximately in the middle of one plane of movement running parallel between the side walls 4, 5.
- the Manual transmission is used to guide the movement of the contact bridge 13, which in Switched on position bridges the gap between the fixed contacts 14, 15 and by means of their contact ends 71, 72 the fixed contacts 14, 15 are electrically conductive connects with each other.
- the in the current path between the contact terminal 7 (current input) to Contact terminal 8 (current output) fixed contacts 14, 15 are flat parts, e.g. Sheet metal stampings. With their area extension they run in the manner of about one Knife blade parallel to the side walls 4,5 and form with their Contact bridge 13 facing narrow edges in the manner of cutting each one Contact point 16 and 17.
- the fixed contacts 14,15 are with their Contact points 16,17 opposite back narrow edges 18,19 on the Flank wall 12 of the housing 1. They are in the direction of their longitudinal axis 73 the first housing end wall 6 in the flank spaces next to the plane of movement of the contact bridge support 20 of the gearbox.
- the fixed contacts 14, 15 are in their base areas approximately at right angles to their surface extension angled that their base parts 21,22 as connecting areas to the Contact connections 7.8 substantially perpendicular to the side walls 4.5 and run approximately parallel to the end walls 6, 10 of the housing 1. They are in Gaps between from the side wall 4 of the housing part 2 to Housing projections protruding 23-26 positioned or plug-in.
- the base parts 21 form an upper one, the contact points 16, 17 facing U-legs of a U-shaped base part 75, 76 of the fixed contacts 14, 15.
- the base part 75 of the fixed contact 14 comprises that through a segment of the end wall 6 of the chassis part 2 formed retaining projection 26.
- the base part 76 of the other fixed contact 15 has a U-shape with the base part 22 as the upper U-leg and with the lower U-leg forming the passage for the adjusting screw 63 77 (Fig.6.7).
- the fixed contacts 14, 15 are with their base parts 21, 22 and Fixed contact 14 is additionally formed in one piece with its contact connection 7.
- the fixed contacts 14, 15 are at approximately the same height position of their contact points 16, 17 different lengths (Fig. 4). This means their are in the installed position Base parts 21, 22 are spaced differently apart from the first end wall 6. The enables the desired narrow construction by nesting the two Fixed contacts 14, 15 in their installation position. This is because they are both Base parts 75, 76 in the installation position of the fixed contacts 14, 15 in the longitudinal direction of the Switch axis staggered one behind the other or one below the other (Fig. 8,9 and 11) arranged.
