Abstract

L'invention concerne un système permettant de simplifier les opérations d'ordre administratif et la gestion d'une pluralité de véhicules. Ce système comprend un dispositif d'identification (2) associé à chaque véhicule (6) et servant à identifer ledit véhicule (6) et des caractéristiques déterminéees propres audit véhicule (6), telles que la puissance du moteur, la catégorie de polluant, le détenteur du véhicule, etc. Le dispositif d'identification (2) ne peut être enlevé du véhicule (6), sans rendre ledit dispositif inutilisable. Le système comprend par ailleurs un dispositif de communication (4) servant à effectuer un appel sélectif de données contenues dans le dispositif d'identification (2), qui identifient chacun des véhicules (6) et décrivent des caractéristiques déterminées. Le dispositif d'identification (2) comprend un dispositif de mémorisation (8) comportant une pluralité de zones de mémorisation (8-i), où sont stockées les données identifiant le véhicule et décrivant ses caractéristiques déterminées. L'accès aux différentes zones de mémorisation (8-i) est réservé à différents utilisateurs et est protégé par différents codes d'accès connus uniquement par chaque utilisateur.
