Definitions
- the invention relates to a protective helmet with a connecting device for releasable attachment a tapeless respirator as described in the preamble of claim 1 is:
- DE-A1-40 37 034 describes a combination of a protective helmet with a breathing mask known in which the connection of the protective helmet with the respiratory mask via two detachable Coupling parts are done.
- the helmet-side coupling part is on a pivot axis on Carried frame or in the inner helmet of the protective helmet so that it is between the outer shell the protective helmet and the inner helmet or the support frame.
- On the a mushroom-shaped bolt is arranged on the helmet-side coupling part.
- the further coupling part the respirator has a buttonhole-like opening with a large diameter and a narrow, narrow, elongated extension.
- the clutch part on the helmet side can be swung out of its rest position, so that the coupling part of the respirator can be hung with the opening in the mushroom-shaped bolt. Thereupon will the coupling part on the helmet side is pivoted in the direction of its rest position around the respiratory mask to approach the face of the fireman and an airtight seat of the Reaching face mask on the firefighter's face.
- the disadvantage here is that if the coupling part is stored for a longer period inside the protective helmet shell of the coupling part is deformed such that a provision when swiveling the coupling part out of the Rest position is no longer present, so that when connecting the respirator to the Hard hat can be difficult due to the deformation of the coupling part.
- WO-A-95/09675 published on April 13, 1995
- a protective helmet with a connecting device for releasable attachment of a tapeless respirator known.
- This has two connecting elements on, each in the area of either of the user's ears facing flank area of the safety helmet and in one of the two side areas of the Respirator is attached.
- Each connecting element is made by two interlocking detachable coupling parts formed, of which the one coupling part on the protective helmet preferably on a protective helmet shell and a further coupling part of the connecting device attached to the respirator.
- the clutch part on the helmet side is closed the flank area of the protective helmet shell approximately vertically aligned pivot axis in the Hard hat shell and / or a support frame and / or an inner helmet stored.
- the helmet side Coupling part is inside the protective helmet or opposite an outside of the Protective helmet shell and / or in the direction of the pivot axis relative to the outside of the height arranged according to adjustable.
- the disadvantage here is that prolonged storage of the Lead the coupling part in the interior of the protective helmet to deform the coupling part can, so that there are difficulties in connecting the respirator to the coupling part of the protective helmet.
- a protective helmet for the detachable attachment of a respirator with a connecting device known - according to DE-C3-26 40 701 -, in which both locking elements of the connecting device, which are releasably engageable with each other, within the perimeter of the protective helmet are arranged.
- This connection device is, for example from a locking bell, which has a holding element in a recess of the protective helmet is held, into which a locking element fastened to the respiratory mask can snap, whereby by means of appropriate adjustment, a sufficient pre-tension between the respirator mask and the face of the user and the support of the counterforce via the protective helmet is achievable.
- the disadvantage here is that the determination or adjustment of the contact pressure and the loosening of the fastening device by the bearing device penetrating the protective helmet the connecting device and accordingly the protective helmet with relative large openings and recesses must be provided.
- Another known hard hat - according to EP-B 1-0 105 813 - has a rigid cap and an inner hood made of supple transverse bands, the side parts of which are in the middle Longitudinal plane of the protective helmet symmetrical and lying approximately at the level of the user's ears Points converge, with the hard hat on the removable respirator is articulated by at least one side fastening arm of adjustable length.
- the cap of the protective helmet is on the outside of each of its sides at the level of the user's ears with hooking notches or slots for attaching two side mounting arms Mistake. These are connected to the respirator mask on both sides.
- Everyone who lateral mounting arms has two telescopic elements, which are supported by resilient elements connected and biased so that they try to penetrate each other.
- a hook cooperating with the associated hooking notch of the calotte is pivotally mounted on the rear telescopic member of the mounting arm.
- To the front telescopic element of the mounting arm and on an extension of the hook sling means are provided through which the two elements temporarily in the extended position are lockable. Unlocking means are also provided for these slings, by supporting the fastening arms on the outer surface of the protective helmet when putting on the respirator can be triggered. With such a protective helmet and one with this connected respirator could not be sufficient in all cases Safety for the user of such a combination of protective helmet and respirator can be achieved.
- a protective helmet with a respirator mask detachably attached to it known - according to DE-C3-25 49 979 -, in which the connecting device in a Recess of the calotte of the protective helmet is arranged and in that surrounded by the protective helmet Interior protruding locking parts that directly into corresponding locking members the breathing mask.
- the engagement of arranged in the connecting device Locking parts or pins adjustable vertically to the protective helmet wall in the locking elements The respirator can be released from outside the protective helmet as well the latching. Due to the lack of a strong connection between the two Locking parts of the connecting device in the protective helmet and the locking elements on the A respirator can be rotated relative to if the protective helmet is twisted or slipped Respirator the two locking elements come out of engagement.
- the object of the present invention is now the connecting device between the safety helmet and a tapeless respirator so that a It is perfectly possible to put on the respiratory mask even under difficult conditions.
- Respirator mask or the locking clasp on the locking band allows because this is high stability against kinking, and thus with one hand it can be pushed over the entire surface and a firm fit of the breathing mask with its contact surfaces on the face can be achieved can. Furthermore, despite the swiveling into the rest position within the protective helmet shell and any spatial deformation, trouble-free storage of the coupling parts achieved.
- the comfort of the Protective helmet not hindered by the coupling parts and they can still be inside the protective helmet is stored protected without obstructing the other parts of the device, which also avoids jamming when using the protective helmet without a respirator becomes.
- the design according to claim 7 allows storage as close as possible of the coupling parts on the face and on the other hand, relative movements between the Respiratory mask and the hard hat thereby prevents that both the support frame of the Protective helmet and the coupling parts of the respirator mask are stored on the same support part are, and thus the protective helmet relative to the support frame, for example for damping of blows, can move without simultaneously changing the relative position between the support frame and the respirator mask, which lead to a leak could arise.
- an embodiment according to claim 8 is also advantageous, since this makes it independent on the one hand sufficient memory effect from the plastic used Buckling stiffness for pushing the coupling part of the respiratory mask onto the coupling part is made possible on the protective helmet and on the other hand a constantly constant shooting position for the coupling parts in their swung-out position to slide the Coupling parts of the respirator mask are retained even after a long period of use can.
- a high-resistance design is achieved by the configuration according to claim 11 reached and it can also be the pull-out strength for anchoring between the respirator and the safety helmet can be increased.
- a fireman 1 is shown wearing a protective helmet as personal protective equipment 2 and wearing a respirator 3 of a respirator 4, which also includes bottles 5, in which the breathing air is stored under high pressure.
- the personal Protective equipment of the fireman 1 serves to make him independent of the ambient air, so that, as shown in the present embodiment, fighting a fire with a jet pipe 6 also in an enriched with poisonous gases and possibly also low-oxygen atmosphere is possible.
- the strapless respiratory mask 3 is connected to a flank area via a connecting device 7 8 connected in the ears of the fireman 1 and consists of two coupling parts 9 and 10 or connecting elements, one of which on the protective helmet 2 and another is attached to the respirator 3.
- the respiratory mask 3 also includes a Viewing window 11, a mounting frame 12 for this viewing window 11 and a sealing edge 13, with which a sealing seal between the respirator 3 and a Face 14 of the fireman 1 is made.
- the dosage of the breathing air from the bottles 5 takes place via a regulator 15.
- the regulator 15 is loaded with Compressed air from the bottles 5 can be controlled via a control valve 16.
- the fireman 1 only a bottle with breathing air or also carries several bottles with breathing air. Furthermore, it is also possible that instead of the container devices regeneration or circulation devices are used. It is too irrelevant for the present invention whether normal pressure breathing apparatus with regulator or overpressure systems can be used.
- the protective helmet 2 comprises a protective helmet shell 17, in which a support frame 18, which is formed in a by a support frame and elastic bands Inner helmet to adapt to the different head dimensions of the user is adjustable.
- a head width of the support frame 18 can be adjusted using an adjusting device 19 can be set.
- On the support frame 18 is in the flank area 8 of the protective helmet 2 a support plate 20, for example via rivets 21, which has a pivot axis 22 a Joint arrangement 23 for holding a coupling part 24, which in the present case a locking band 25 is formed, and an axis of rotation 26 about which a chin strap 27 can be rotated, stores.
- this pivot axis 22 is also a visor 28 from a line shown in full Rest position within an interior 29, which is enclosed by the protective helmet shell 17 is swung out into a working position shown in dashed lines.
- This visor 28 is predominantly used without the one shown at a distance from the protective helmet 2 Respirator 3 thought. However, it is also possible with the appropriate design the visor 28 and the respirator 3 to use them simultaneously.
- the respiratory mask 3 comprises the viewing window 11 which is held in the mounting frame 12 is.
- the sealing edge 13 connects to the sealing end the respiratory mask 3 between this and the face 14 of a user is used this sealing edge 13 a holding bracket 30 is arranged, which at two fastening points 31, 32 of the respiratory mask 3 engages on the sealing edge 13.

This ensures that that when inserting the locking band 25 into the locking clasp 35, the latch of the push button 42 slides up along the flanks 51 and on the latching flank 50 in the opposite In the direction of this there is a lock.
- the reinforcing insert in this embodiment 45 has a smaller width 52 than a width 53 of the locking band 25.
- a thickness 54 of the reinforcing insert 45 is also less a thickness 55 of the locking band 25, seen in the direction normal to its longitudinal extent.
- the locking band 25 thus has approximately a rectangular cross section, the Width 53 is a multiple of the thickness 55.
- a front end 56 of the reinforcing insert 45 is from an end region 57 of the locking band 25, which on the opposite side of the receiving device 46 End of the locking band 25 is arranged at a distance 58 therefrom embedded and has a length 59, which extends in the direction of the receiving device 46 extends. Both the distance 58, the thickness 54, and the length 59 can vary Formation of the reinforcing insert 45 can be varied differently in order to achieve the necessary resilience in the stretched position.
- reinforcing insert 45 e.g. stainless steel, spring steel or Material with a high elastic resilience or memory behavior used become.
- reinforcement insert 45 which is designed in the form of a flat profile, a Grid, net, threads, rods, etc. to use, it is only important that these are high Have resilience and do not permanently deform in their position in the rest position.
- a stop 63 is provided, which e.g. to serves to limit the insertion path of the locking band 25 in the coupling part 34 or one Represents stop for the pivoting movement of the locking band 25. Above all, this also serves to avoid jamming of the two coupling parts 24 and 34, respectively.
- This Both surfaces 44 and 62 thus form flat sides of the coupling part 24.
- FIG. 6 shows the sandwich-like structure of the coupling part 24 can be seen, the reinforcing insert 45 on all sides of the plastic of the locking band 25 is surrounded and on both sides of the flat sides of the flat profile-like reinforcement insert 45 a layer of the material of the locking band 25 is arranged.
- the coupling part 24, namely the locking band 25, is over its entire length Cross-section seen formed from a plastic 64, which has a high memory behavior for the return movement of the coupling part in its straight stretched position.
- a plastic 64 which has a high memory behavior for the return movement of the coupling part in its straight stretched position.
- material e.g. an alloy of different plastics, one in the manner of a Sandwich construction made of different plastics, layered component or a combination of both can be used.
- the elastic material has So such properties that the resetting movement or the resetting behavior of this Material in the direction perpendicular to the flat sides forming the surfaces 44, 62 works. This ensures that again a simple and quick coupling process between the coupling part 24 and the coupling part arranged in the area of the breathing mask 3 34 can be done properly.
- the coupling part 24, in the present case the locking band 25, is at one end region 57 in turn provided with catches 43 and has the at the opposite end Receiving device 46 with the opening 47 and the projection optionally arranged therein 48 on.
