Definitions

  • the invention is based on a one-piece blank for a folding box for packaging objects such as ampoules, vials, vials or the like according to the preamble of claim 1.
  • a folding box known from DE 43 09 036 AI by the applicant it is possible to cut the blank to design the folding box in one piece.
  • This blank can be folded, glued and laid flat at the folding box manufacturer.
  • the flattened folding boxes are then sent in batches to the packer, where they are stored in a small space, and, if necessary, set up with a cartoning machine and loaded and sealed with the objects to be packed.
  • a disadvantage of this otherwise satisfactory folding box is that it requires several passes for gluing and folding on conventional gluing and folding machines, since the gluing and folding machine only allows a certain number of folding processes per gluing run. This not only results in a high level of handling, but also a relatively low output on such machines.
  • a folding box is also known, the use of which is perpendicular to the broad sides of the side walls.

This results in a short production time of the folding box and a low handling effort, so that the folding box can be manufactured particularly cost-effectively.
  • the compartment can be adapted, for example, for a leaflet to the size of the leaflet, by varying the dimensions of the tabs connected to the link walls and forming the partition.
  • a particularly advantageous opening and closing and a good overview of the objects in the folding box can be achieved if the upper part of the sleeve is designed to be foldable along a perforation line.

The insert 30 is then folded over on the fold line 53 between the web 35 and the longitudinal adhesive tab 15 (FIG. 5). • the above-described folding box or its blank 46 has the advantage that it can be produced with a few folding processes, so that it can be glued and folded in a gluing cycle on conventional gluing and folding machines. This is made possible by the fact that the insert 30 adjoins the longitudinal adhesive tab 15 via the narrow end face 48 of the web 35, and the broad sides of the web 35 extend parallel to the broad sides of the broad side walls 11, 12.

  • the manufacturing process of the folding box with the blank 46a shown in FIGS. 11 to 14 begins, as with the blank 46, by folding the link wall 33a and the wide flap 39a around the fold line 51a on the web 35a.
  • adhesive dots 52a are provided analogously (FIG. 11).

  • the design of the blank 46a and the change in the folding process used have the advantage over the first folding box that the insert 30a is now folded over by the folding line 54a, which is considerably wider than that of the folding line 53. This allows a better positioning of the inner frame 30a for the further gluing process to be achieved.
  • Another advantage is that the height h of the longitudinal adhesive tab 15a almost corresponds to the width B of the narrow side wall 14a. As a result, when the insert 30a is later erected in a cartoning machine, the longitudinal adhesive tab 15a can lie against the entire inside of the narrow side wall 14a, as a result of which the erection process proceeds more reliably.
