Definitions
- the invention relates to a breathing mask according to the generic term of Claim 1.
- a respirator with a full face mask Mask body has become known from DE-PS 17 08 046.
- the well-known Respirator mask consists of a mask body with Connection options for filters and breathing valves.
- the mask body is like this designed that two filters laterally in the cheek area of the mask body can be attached, or there will be a single filter in the Middle of the mask body in the mouth area inserted into the mask body. in the Visible area of the mask body, two flat panes are provided, the are attached directly in the mask body material.
- a disadvantage of the known respiratory mask is that the side attached filter, or the one located in the middle of the mask body Filter, the center of gravity of the respirator mask is what the Comfort significantly impaired.
- the protruding Filters when operating devices.
- the two disks in the mask body limit the field of vision to one immediately before the eyes of the Mask wearer lying area and allow no view in the side area of the mask body.
- the known respirator mask only insufficient adaptation of the panes to optical devices possible, since the discs are firmly integrated into the mask body material. By an angular offset between the discs and the lenses of the optical Distortion or reflections can occur, which can damage the device Difficulty using such devices.
- From DE-GM 10 12 689 is a face mask with four in the Mask body used eye glasses known, two of which in Area of the center of the mask and the other two eye glasses in the Side areas of the mask body are arranged.
- the viewing area becomes segment-like division of the eye glasses enlarged compared to an arrangement with only two glasses, however the perception area selectively on the individual viewing areas of the Eyewear limits what the use of the mask at close range impaired.
- WO 92/19 322 is a U-shaped from the center of the mask body to Air duct system for a Respiratory mask known from both the inhaled air and the Exhaled air is flowed through separate channels.
- the Air guidance system serves as a heat exchanger to the inhaled air by means of the to temper the heat emitted by the exhaled air. Through the Warming up the inhaled air is said to cause condensation effects within the Respirator mask are prevented.
- the air duct system also serves for filtering the inhaled air, using an air duct system surface covering filter element is provided.
- the invention has for its object a breathing mask to improve the type mentioned so that the wearing properties attached filter can be improved with regard to the center of gravity There is a larger field of vision and good adaptability to optical Devices.
- the advantage of the invention is essentially that Formation of the filter as a U-shaped, the mask body of the
- the body of the mask encompasses the cheek area Filter element that shifts the center of gravity to the mask carrier, and also the dead space in the cheek area of the breathing mask is particularly good is exploited what the fitness for purpose of the respirator clearly increased.
- a rectangular, transparent elastomer section in the visible area of the mask body, in The field of view becomes clear as to which individual lenses are used increased, as there is now a visual outside of the viewing panes Perceptibility of the environment exists.
- the viewing panels are out solid, optical material with good transmission properties.
- the mask body is advantageously in the region of the filter element as a shaped corresponding to the inner surface of the filter element Filter holder executed, and with pushed onto the mask body Filter element, the inner surface of the filter is flush with the filter holder on.
- the filter connection of the filter element is advantageously in the Arranged middle of the mask body.
- the filter connection can be Screw or bayonet connection, the plug connection represents the preferred embodiment.
- the viewing windows are towards the center of the mask body tapered, e.g. triangular first viewing panels, which in The main field of vision of the mask wearer, and as round to the rear expiring, e.g. semicircular second lenses, which are arranged in the side region of the mask body.
- first viewing panels which in The main field of vision of the mask wearer
- semicircular second lenses which are arranged in the side region of the mask body.
- viewing panels flat or spherically curved glasses can be used.
- By the attachment of the viewing panels within the compliant Elastomer section these are mutually displaceable and tiltable and can therefore be adapted particularly well to optical devices. Due to the flexibility of the elastomer section, it is also possible Viewing panels, e.g. when putting on an optical device, closer to Face, i.e. to the eyes of the mask wearer.
- the Viewing windows can be molded or glued into the elastomer section his.
- the elastomer section is made of
- a holder for receiving a speech membrane appropriate in the middle of the mask body above the Filter element.
- the speech membrane is located approximately in the mouth area of the Mask wearer. This is a particularly good communication possible.
- the exhalation valve is conveniently located at the lowest point of the Mask body, i.e. below the filter element in the chin area appropriate. So possibly something inside the mask body Drain condensate directly into the environment.
- attachment points on the mask body for attachment a head strap there are a total of six attachment points on the mask body for attachment a head strap provided, with two of the attachment points located on the mask body at the level of the filter element in order to Support breathing mask in the area of the focus. To this Ways are particularly pleasant to wear Respiratory mask reached.
- the level of the filter element Attachment points can also be attached directly to the filter element be, or there are attachment points both on the mask body as well as on the filter element. By including the filter element in the attachment of the headgear will support the Respiratory mask in the focus area further improved.
- the filter element is designed so that the Gas inlet openings at the ends of the side parts, i.e. to the Leg ends of the U-shaped filter element lie.
- the Gas flow then occurs symmetrically from the two opposite Gas inlet openings to the centrally located filter connection.
- the Filter element contains individual sorption layers, e.g. made of activated carbon, for Adsorption of harmful gases.
- An appropriate order of Air cleaning layers within the filter element is a non-woven body Particle separator and one or more activated carbon cartridges Pollutant gas adsorption.
- the filter element is advantageously designed as a cassette filter with a openable filter housing, in which individual Air cleaning layers can be inserted or, after use, also from this are removable.
- the preparation of the Cassette filter significantly simplified because the filter housing multiple can be used and only the air cleaning layers can be replaced have to.
- the used sorption layers can be immediately one Reprocessing can be fed.
- FIG 1 shows a respirator 1 with a full face mask trained mask body 2, which is made of a thermoplastic Elastomer (TPE) manufactured and at the same time as a sealing edge to the face of an in the mask carrier not shown in Figure 1 is formed.
- the Mask body 2 is symmetrical to the center of the mask body 3, as Axis of symmetry of the respirator 1.
- a rectangular cutout provided with a correspondingly executed, rectangular, flexible and transparent elastomer section 4 is closed.
- the Elastomer section 4 also consists of a TPE.
- first viewing panels 5 and semicircular second Viewing panes 6 used seen from the center of the mask body 3 behind the first viewing panes 5 in the side area of the mask body 2 lie.
- the first viewing panes 5 form an angle with one another of approximately 170 degrees and the second lens 6 are opposite to each adjacent first viewing panes 5 by about 120 degrees angled. In this way it is achieved that both in the front area and also in the side area of the mask body 2, the viewing panes 5, 6 only Mask body 2, the lenses 5, 6 only a small angular offset opposite the line of sight of the mask wearer.
- the lower part of the mask body 2 is from the center of the mask body 3 to to cheek area 7 as a U-shaped filter holder 8 with a Breathing connection 9 executed.
- a holder 10 for a speech membrane, not shown in Figure 1 and an exhalation valve 11 is arranged below the breathing connection 9.
- a U-shaped curved cassette filter 12 as a filter element with a Filter connection 13 has an inner surface 14 which corresponds to Filter receptacle 8 is shaped. In this way, the cassette filter 12 fit snugly onto the filter holder 8. When postponing the Cassette filter 12 on the filter holder 8 along the arrow 19 engages Filter connection 13 in the breathing connection 9.
- the cassette filter 12 has on its side parts 15, 16 Gas inlet openings 17, 18, the gas flow being symmetrical from the Gas inlet openings 17, 18 to the filter connection 13.
