Definitions

  • Snap-action switches are regularly movable, preferably pivotable, contact lever provided on the spring action acts a switching piece.
  • the contact piece will be there mostly moved by a plunger that can be moved in a straight direction.
  • DE-A-39 42 925 has therefore switched to the contact piece in the housing on a substantially perpendicular to the Longitudinal direction of the contact lever extending straight path respectively.
  • a disadvantage of this known switch is, however, that its housing integrally integrated into the support body is, i.e. the housing of the switch and the support body itself are molded in one piece from plastic.
  • the switch housing with the components can have several switches the switch therefore only in the direction of the supporting body, that is, perpendicular to the plane of the supporting body.
  • An assembly is parallel to the plane of movement of the contact lever comparatively complex and can only be done manually be performed.
  • the invention is therefore based on a switch that is the preamble of claim 1 resulting genus (DE-A-39 42 925).
  • Task of The invention is to facilitate the assembly of the switch and design the switch so that a mechanical Equipping is possible.
  • the task is characterized by the characteristic part of the combination of features resulting from claim 1.
  • the invention basically consists of, in contrast to that the DE-A-39 42 925 known switch this with its own independent of the support body on which the switches are located To provide the housing and to divide it asymmetrically, that it can be equipped from the side. That way each switch according to the requirements placed on it be equipped separately from the side, whereby as a placement area the entire side surface of the switch is available stands.
  • the undercuts are in this direction individual switch elements also comparatively low, so that possibly two components pre-assembled together in the first housing part can be inserted.
  • a particularly advantageous structure for the connectors can be obtained by using the combinations of features Claim 3.
  • the housing By the adjacent to the inner surface of the housing Arrangement of the connectors can also the housing can be used as a space-saving contact and holding surface.
  • the second housing part acting as a cover for the first housing part is therefore reduced as far as possible to a frame which has the task of having the locked state of the first housing part to secure the components inserted into the switch interior, the preferably relatively large third recess ensuring adequate ventilation of the switch interior.
  • an attempt can be made to mount the switch in the final state so that the second housing part with the ventilation opening lies above the first housing part, so that the heat can be drawn off well upwards.
  • the two latched housing parts forming the housing can at the same time form a guide link for the switching piece, so that the switching piece itself can also be inserted from the open side of the first housing part.
  • the measure serves to be able to secure connecting pieces according to claim 12. Then protrude from the second housing part protruding projections in the direction of assembly in the first housing part into it, so that the components after their assembly by the first housing part are held in their mounting position.
  • the invention is suitable Switch excellent for a summary in switching systems.
  • the adjoining connection of the individual Switch not only saves space, but also at the same time to an increase in the Switching system absorbs forces.
  • a complex combined switch such as a steering column switch, through the combination of features according to claim 14 by turning the steering column switch only off there is a carrier body with the appropriate designs of the present switch according to the invention conveniently latching is equipped.
  • Switches to each other Depending on whether the switching effect of a work and / or Closed contact or the effect of a changeover contact reached a different arrangement of the individual is recommended Switches to each other. For example, if the switching effect by one taking place in the longitudinal direction of the contact pieces Movement of a large-area actuator take place, so can, for example, whole lines of symmetrical to each other arranged switch pairs put together according to claim 15 and be operated. The actuator moves perpendicular to the direction of movement of the contact pieces, so a Row of several switches arranged to each other according to claim 25 can be controlled simultaneously by the actuating element.
  • the actuator itself is wedge-shaped, it can Switching movement also take place transversely to the level of the switch.
  • the line can also be formed by symmetrical switch pairs be.
  • the individual is actuated Switch pairs according to claim 16 successively in time.
  • the switches should be operated as changeover switches the combination of features is recommended Claim 17 to the necessary space for the attack of the claw to create the guiding approach of the individual switches. So far the actuator two opposite each other The switches can also take leadership approaches at a distance from each other according to claim 17 be arranged. In this case there is also a line formation possible with several pairs of switches arranged side by side are.
  • Switch systems can be spaced side by side arranged switch improves the cooling effect of the system by preventing the first housing part of a switch, the opening in the second housing part covers other switch too strongly.
  • the combination of features according to claim 23 has proven itself for the construction of the switching element within the contact piece.
  • the force of the biasing coil spring of the switching element is applied via a shift drum which is arranged so as to be displaceable essentially in the longitudinal direction of the contact lever, so that the frictional forces which arise when the switching element moves along the wedge profile are greatly reduced.
  • the guide lugs serve to center the end of the contact lever provided with the spline profile with respect to the contact piece.
  • the contact piece is only very short in the longitudinal direction of the contact lever, so that the lateral guide approaches are able to absorb considerable lateral forces of the contact lever.
  • the switching piece (16) moves in the same direction as the switching plunger (46). It must therefore be prevented that the contact piece falls out of the housing and, moreover, it must be ensured that the contact piece can only cover a path suitable for the switching process.
  • stops attached to the contact piece are used. When selecting these stops, the combination of features according to claim 24 is particularly recommended, according to which the guide approaches, which are necessary anyway, are used simultaneously as stops.
  • the switch according to the invention As a working contact and / or use break contact, you have to make sure that the contact piece a certain position (working position) only as long occupies how a force is exerted on the actuating plunger is or in the switch according to the invention on the contact piece yourself. To achieve this, further training is recommended the invention the combination of features according to claim 25. But it is also possible to use the switch according to the invention To design the switch, which is related to claim 25 spring mentioned can be omitted. In this case however, be ensured that two for the contact Stops are provided that the movement of the contact in limit its longitudinal direction up and down. The for Hold the contact in one of the two switch positions the necessary force is then exclusively from the in the Contact piece itself applied for the pre-tensioning spring, which must be dimensioned accordingly. Furthermore the contact piece must be drivable from the outside in two directions be.
  • the tappet is formed in the case of the invention Switch preferably according to the combination of features according to claim 26.
  • the actuation approach thus takes over the task of the known Switch plunger (see DE-A-39 40 285).
  • a separate setting is provided must be that which is impressed by the wedge effect Switch piece in a backward movement of the transversely moving Shifts plunger out again.
  • the embodiment according to claim 28 because in this way the position of the switching plunger on the switching piece itself from the Direction of movement of the contact piece when the switch is actuated deviates, causing forces to drive the contact in have two directions applied.
  • the switching plunger it is possible, even if both are aligned, the switching plunger to combine with the contact piece such that the contact piece both the push and pull movement of the ram follows, for example by latching or the like.
  • a particularly favorable arrangement of the actuating projection within the housing results from the combination of features according to claim 29. It is particularly advantageous that the the protrusion of the housing is not outstanding remains ineffective for switching purposes of the switch and not bothers if several switches in the area of the second recess to be arranged adjacent to one another, the actuation then the switch can be made directly via the contact pieces can.
  • the combination of features according to claim 22 can also act as a stop for the movement of the contact piece are used, in addition the two fingers also exerted on the contact piece Counteracting torque that tries to counteract this Tilt the switching piece out of the second recess.
  • the first housing part thereby a substantially closed and after only one single side open housing part, in which the individual Components can be inserted through the open side.
  • the individual parts are designed so that they predominantly at the same time and otherwise taking into account a predetermined Sequence through one essentially rectified movement in the first housing part itself mechanically let insert.
  • a housing 1 which consists of a first housing part 2 and a second housing part 3.
  • the first housing part 2 takes in its interior 4 individual components belonging to the switch, while the second housing part 3 as a lid-shaped side wall of the housing 1 acts and snaps onto the first housing part 2 is.
  • the second housing part 3 also takes over at the same time spatial security of the individual components, and prevents that this is not from the interior of the first housing part can move out or otherwise in any direction that is inappropriate for the functioning of these components.
