Definitions

  • the invention relates to footwear according to the preamble of the claim 1.
  • Such membrane material consists, for example, of stretched polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE), made of polyester or from a microporous Polyurethane coating.
  • PTFE stretched polytetrafluoroethylene
  • Such membrane material has also been used for manufacturing waterproof footwear used. At least the inside of the upper is lined with such membrane material, hereinafter referred to as "functional layer" becomes.
  • a corresponding example is shown in EP-A2-0 080 710.
  • the lining is usually shaped by a lining a laminate formed, the functional layer and, on the to Side of the shoe facing, has a textile layer.
  • the functional layer is at the stitch points perforated and permeable to water.
  • the molded plastic sole seals the seam between the Functional layer on the one hand and shaft and insole on the other against the direct impact of water.
  • the shaft materials mentioned however, have the property that they are water in their longitudinal extent manage what is particularly true for leather stocks. At this Conducting water involves capillary effects. So if the area of the shaft that is not covered by the plastic sole will creep due to this longitudinal effect, the water runs along the shaft up to to the seam inside the molded plastic sole, where it then the functional layer can penetrate at the seam holes.
  • the functional layer is usually located within a laminate, that on the side facing the shaft with a protective textile and coated on the inside with a lining material is.
  • a protective textile In the usual mass production of shoes, it leaves can hardly avoid with economically justifiable effort that Water bridges occur at the lower end of the shaft and lining. This can be formed by threads cut from the cut Stand the lining part away and over the cut end of the functional layer reach over to the stock material.
  • the shaft material is made of textile fabric, there is a risk of that the shaft end and the chuck end are not cut off at exactly the same height are so that threads or parts of the textile shaft material the cut Bridge the end of the functional layer and a moisture bridge form to the lining of the footwear.
  • the lining material lining the functional layer on the inside of the shoe is usually absorbent and water-conducting. That along the Penetrated shaft and through the seam and / or the mentioned water bridges water then creeps along the feed into the Inside of the shoe.
  • EP-B1-0 298 360 known to use a waterproof footwear that one Shaft, a lining lining the shaft with a waterproof and water vapor permeable microporous functional layer, one on your Insole sewn circumferentially to the lower end of the lining and an outsole molded onto the lower part of the upper made of a waterproof plastic.
  • the one in the outsole area lower shaft area is sewn with a porous material, that of the plastic of the outsole material that is liquid when molded is penetrable.
  • the end of the real Shaft material is via a connecting material formed by the porous material with the insole and the lower end of the lining connected, the porous connecting material at one end with the actual stock material, but not with the lining, and others Finally sewn to the lining and insole with a seam is.
  • This known footwear can also be made from the Document EP-B1-0 298 360 known methods can be produced.
  • the lining is made with a waterproof and water vapor permeable microporous functional layer, then the lower End of the actual shaft material at a height distance from brought lower end of the lining and with the porous material than Connection material extended. Then the feed and that of End of the porous connecting material lying away from the actual shaft material at their lower ends via a seam with each other and with sewn to the circumference of an insole. Finally, the outsole molded from plastic.
  • a shoe of the type known from EP-B1-0 298 360 has a shaft S, which consists, for example, of leather or a textile fabric, preferably of plastic.
  • the inside of the shaft S is lined with a laminate L, which takes on the function of an inner lining and has a waterproof and water vapor-permeable functional layer or membrane M, which has a textile fabric T on the side facing the shaft S and a lining material on the side facing the shoe interior F is lined.
  • the lining material and the textile fabric T form a mechanical protection for the functional layer M.
  • the composite of the shaft S and the laminate L is sewn to the edge of an insole B, the seam being denoted by N.
  • a sole K made of a suitable waterproof plastic is molded onto the underside of the insole B and the lower region of the upper S sewn to it.
  • the upper edge O of the sole K is so high that the seam N is enclosed by the sole K. The seam N is thus sealed against water that strikes directly.
  • the upper S does not extend to the insole B, but the lower end of the upper is at a distance from the edge of the insole. This distance is bridged with a perforated or porous connecting material V.
  • the outer edge of the connecting material V is sewn onto the inner edge of the shaft S with a first seam N1.
  • the laminate L is not sewn to the shaft S at this point.
  • the other end of the connecting material V is sewn together with the inner end of the laminate L to the insole B by means of a second seam N2.
  • the porous connecting material V is preferably made of a mesh tape monofilament synthetic fibers. It turns out to be particularly cheap choose a mesh size of at least 1.5 mm.
  • material for the synthetic fibers are preferably considered polyamide or polyester.
  • the lining of a protective shoe is traditionally used stroked onto the insole on the front upper, then the Protective cap inserted between the lining and upper material and afterwards the upper material on the underside and on the top by hand Glue spread and glued to the insole.
  • the object of the invention is to provide footwear with a protective cap to provide according to the preamble of protection claim 1 a particularly simple and inexpensive way to produce is.
  • FIG. 3 shows a bottom view of a footwear according to the invention which has not yet been provided with an outsole and which has the same structure in the midfoot area and in the heel area as the footwear shown in FIG. 2 .
  • the insole has two separate insole parts, namely a rear insole part B1 in the midfoot and heel area and a front insole part B2 in the toe area.
  • the insole part B2 can be seen in the toe area within the shaft material S which extends down to the underside of the shoe.
  • the footwear has a fixed protective cap SK which is arranged in the toe area between the shaft S and the laminate L and is made of material which is as pressure and impact resistant as possible, and whose area on the outsole side, which can be seen in FIG. 3, engages under the insole part B2 on its outside to a predetermined width.
  • the laminate L located towards the interior of the shoe consists of two laminate flap parts in the toe area, which are assembled on the inside of the insole part B2 with a seam SN to form a partial sock (partial "bootie").
  • the shaft material S is guided over the protective cap SK and connected to the outside of the insole part B2 by means of a gusseted joint KN.
  • the front insole part B2 is located between the laminate L. and the area of the protective cap spanning the insole part B2 SK to protect the laminate L from mechanical damage caused by the Keep protective cap SK.
  • the insole part B2 is on the Glued outside of the laminate.
  • the one facing the midfoot area The edge of the partial sock is with the insole part B1 via a seam N2 'connected, which can be a sewing seam.
  • the two insole parts B1 and B2 can be different Material consist: the insole part B1 made of non-woven material, the insole part B2 made of harder material, such as leather, cardboard or wood.
  • the entire insole can also be formed in one piece, whereby it consists of a solid material suitable for the toe area.
  • the seam N2 ' is formed as an adhesive seam.
  • FIG. 4 shows a cross-sectional view through the toe region of the footwear shown in FIG. 3 . From this it can be seen that the protective cap SK is located between the shaft S and the laminate partial socks.
  • the partial sock can be composed of two laminate flaps, which are connected by a sock seam SN. It is advantageous to seal this sock seam SN against water by applying a waterproof adhesive welding tape KSB on the underside of the partial sock.
  • the partial socks can also have one of the contours of the toe area Footwear-adapted rag be built up by means of a seam connected to the laminate lining the toe region of the shaft is.
  • the seam is made using adhesive sweatband sealed against water.
  • a band-shaped connecting material V preferably in the form of a network composed of monofilament fibers, is first connected to the outsole-side edge of the shaft cut in the midfoot and heel region along the edge. Then a laminate cut corresponding to the shape of the upper is produced, the toe area of which is then closed on the outsole side by means of a laminate piece in the form of a sock.
  • This piece of laminate can either be formed by two laminate flaps connected to the laminate blank, which are connected to each other to form a partial laminate sock by means of a waterproof seam, which corresponds to the embodiment shown in FIG. 3 .
  • the laminate piece can also be formed by a laminate part corresponding to the toe area contour of the footwear, which is connected to the laminate blank by means of a waterproof seam.
  • a process step then follows, that depends on whether it's a one-part or a two-part Insole is used.
