Definitions
- the present invention relates to a plastic sheet, a method for producing this plastic sheet and the use thereof.
- the representatives of the first group are mostly based on plasticizer-containing polyvinyl chloride and generally have a thickness between 0.5 and 1.0 mm. They have the advantage of being weldable with hot air or hot wedge welding devices.
- the representatives of the second group do not have a uniform material base. Their main feature is that they have very high water vapor permeability due to their very fine pores, some of which are well over 100 g / m2d (23 ° C, 90% relative humidity).
- the products in this group are generally thinner than 0.5 mm.
- the disadvantage of these plastic sheets is that they are partly because of the low material thickness, partly because of the used thermosetting raw materials cannot be welded under construction site conditions.
- a sub-roof membrane is to be made available, which has both a high water vapor permeability and is weldable under construction site conditions.
- This new plastic sheet should also be combined as desired and connected by gluing or welding with a plastic sealing sheet, as described for example in European Patent No. 0 428 851 B1, or with a vapor barrier based on polyolefins, such as that used in a simultaneously filed and a priority date (April 19, 1994) Swiss patent application entitled "Plastic web which prevents or at least significantly reduces water vapor diffusion”.
- This plastic sheet should preferably also be translucent.
- This plastic web should be built on the basis of inexpensive raw materials and should be able to be manufactured using inexpensive processes.
- This new plastic sheet should also be able to be fixed to plate-shaped materials which serve for thermal insulation and / or sound insulation and / or fire protection.
- the raw materials should be selected in such a way that the plastic sheet produced from them can be recycled, in particular together with the above-mentioned plastic sealing sheet and the above-mentioned vapor barriers.
- the plastic sheets according to the invention fulfill the above objectives.
- the plastic webs according to the invention have, among other things, the enormously important advantage that they have a high water vapor permeability.
- Preferred plastic sheets can also be welded under construction site conditions - in contrast to laboratory conditions or industrial welding.
- plastic sheets according to the invention do not contain any plasticizers, all problems which can arise due to plasticizer losses or plasticizer migration are eliminated. Likewise, there is no smoke formation when welding.
- the plastic sheets according to the invention contain no halogens, no polyvinyl chloride, no bitumen and no heavy metals such as lead and cadmium.
- the web is recyclable. Disposal by incineration or landfill is harmless.
- the plastic sheets according to the invention are ecologically harmless.
- the plastic sheet according to the invention is preferably translucent (translucent).
- prefabricated molded parts can be welded on or the desired shapes can be made from the roofing membrane or another membrane with a similar raw material base, e.g. Sarnafil T R , by appropriate heating, stretching and Welded together.
- the plastic web according to the invention can be processed in various ways.
- the plastic sheets according to the invention can be welded to one another mechanically or by hand using hot air or hot wedge devices. But you can also with suitable tapes or adhesive, e.g. made of polyisobutylene. With a corresponding requirement profile, an overlapping, scale-like laying of the sheets is also possible without these being connected to one another.
- the manufacturing method according to the invention makes it possible to produce a product with excellent properties from cheap raw materials. This results in a good price / performance ratio.
- the manufacturing method according to the invention enables the application of hot melt adhesives to the plastic web in the simplest way.
- the lamination of the web, e.g. elements are machine-prefabricated on thermal insulation boards, which already contain several functional layers and can be installed very efficiently.
- the plastic sheets according to the invention are preferably used as roofing sheets.
- FIG. 1 through 11 show sections through typical roof structures in which plastic sheets according to the invention are used.
- FIGS. 1 to 5 the plastic sheets according to the invention are used as individual layers.
- the plastic webs according to the invention are fixed to a plate-shaped material (composite elements).

Abstract
