Definitions

  • the invention relates to a method of manufacture one produced by means of a deep-drawing tool, as a closure for infusion bottles or the like trained cover with a at the bottom of the Bottle neck crimped cap in its blanket has a hole to form a piercing area.
  • a closure of a conventional type is disclosed in U.S. Patent No. 4,205,754 known.
  • the essentially pot-shaped shape Cap is used to define the mouth of the Closing stopper bottle.
  • the latter is based via a peripheral ring flange on the end face from the mouth of the bottle neck.
  • the top of the cap has a hole in the center of the hole of the plug, whereas the one flanged radially inwards lower edge of the cap to the mouth area of the neck of the bottle fixed on the outside reaches under.
  • This closure is still an overcap assigned. This will contaminate the for example plug made of rubber avoided.
  • Such Overcap is made of plastic, the flocculent material the cap made of plastically deformable metal.
  • the Cap is in the edge area of the hole by rear grip anchored. It is used for the purpose of penetrating the Stopper, for example with an injection needle, deducted.
  • the manufacture of such a closure is relatively complex and results in compliance with responsible disposal three types of materials.
  • FR-PS 1 071 650 (Fig. 3) it is then known to form a cover as a double-walled cap.
  • Their cap walls are common in their edge area flanged around a collar of a bottle neck or folded. The cap walls are flush with the edge.
  • the Inner cap leaves an opening in its ceiling. In this is a sealing membrane. The latter is from the inner cap, which also leaves an opening overlapped.
  • the object of the invention is to provide a method for the technically favorable production of a such closure, taking this into account disposal issues.
  • the process of making a cover is characterized in that after punching one Two strips of thermoformed material in Cover position under a thermoformed stamp of the Thermoforming tool, which at a joint Thermoform both strips in a single operation in a cap-shaped structure with a perforated cap (1) and an unperforated Formed supplementary cap (17), one at least at the edge Adhesive connection between the two caps (1, 17) weird and with the supplementary cap (17) extending to the bottom Edge of the cap (1) extends.
  • the punched out product receives one compared to the usual mechanical Stresses, for example due to conveyor and alignment devices, best withstanding composite.
  • a there is a particularly economic process if that Deep-drawing tool with a punch in one Strip punches a hole before deep drawing. Such one Hole can even be used to center the position in the deep-drawing station can be used by adding a leading Dowel pin retracts.
  • There is also an advantageous method step characterized by an edge under Creation of a ridge formation adhesive connection of both
  • Her special too Attack assignment at the edge of the hole is discontinued, what previous measures for a mass article required too much effort. Still will for piercing an injection needle or the like provided the hole is closed properly. Is to a film section of a film available on the market is used. It is designed as a supplementary cap and actual, i.e. self-supporting, flangeable cap assigned. It is in adhesive connection with this cap. This unit can therefore be stored in a magazine. The nested, Cup-like caps cannot fall apart. When encapsulating is the supplementary cap included in the crimp as its edge also extends to the bottom of the cap, so included in the attachment measure mentioned becomes.
  • the adhesive bond in the area of the lower edge given is. It can be a clamp connection. It is even better if the adhesive bond is off a ridge formation when deep-drawing both caps in is achieved in a single operation. You can do this common tools are used. It is also proposed that the double-layered edge points outwards bent and flared in the opposite direction is foldable. This leads to high-strength anchoring the corresponding laminate structure.
  • the closure according to the invention forms a cover A.
  • a crimpable cap 1 is part of the same.
  • the neck 2 of a bottle 3 preferably an infusion bottle, a neck 2 collar 4 protruding from the outside in a rotationally symmetrical manner. Of the lies in the area of mouth 5 of bottle 3.
  • the latter is made of glass, for example.
  • the mouth 5 takes a pierceable closure body in the form of a stopper 6.
  • the one made of elastomer Material such as Butyl rubber plug 6 is hollowed out like a dome in its shaft area.
  • the cave bears the reference number 7. It points to the inside the bottle 3 and leads to a more penetrable Thickness reduction of the ceiling section of the hollow plug-like Closure body.
  • the cap 1 For piercing the cannula of a not shown Infusion sets, transfusion sets, an injection syringe etc. leaves the area forming a ceiling 8 the cap 1 has a corresponding piercing area, realized as hole 9. Its clear diameter is kept slightly smaller than that of the mouth 5 and corresponds approximately to the largest diameter of the cavity 7. The puncture is thereby in the thinned area of the Plug 6 steered. In this respect, there is also sufficient Material for the formation of the ceiling 8, which is over a substantially cylindrical cap wall 10 in one continues lower edge 11, the so-called Flanged edge 12 forms. It is radially inward angled and engages under the lower one, essentially horizontal flank 13 of the federal government 4. This makes a the stopper 6 peripherally formed ring flange 14 and sealing against the top face 15 of the bottle neck 2 pressed. The end face 15 runs over a convex transverse curvature in the mouth 5 of the bottle neck 2 a.
  • a supplementary cap 17 closed is.
  • This can also be made of aluminum.
  • An extremely small thickness, which is slightly different, is sufficient here the cannula is penetrable, whereas the crimpable Cap 1 has a thickness that the corresponding plastic deformation allows and the desired firm Clamping the ring flange, which acts like a sealing ring 14 allowed.
  • the supplementary cap 17 can be inserted into the cap 1 be.
  • Your essentially cylindrical cap wall 18th also extends to the lower edge 11 of the cap 1.
  • the lower edge of the supplementary cap 17 bears the reference symbol 19. The latter is included in the flanging.
  • Cap 1 and supplementary cap 17 are in their nesting position secured, by way of a bond. It can be a frictional bond act that the nested "bowls" holds together.
  • an embodiment is preferred in that the adhesive bond in the area of common lower margin 11/19 is realized, and as a result of a common deep drawing both caps so cap 1 and the supplementary cap 17. This is done in a single operation.
  • the Adhesive bond arises in the course of the shearing of the double-layered edge to the same length (cf. Figure 6). Here the double-layered edge Turned 11/19 pointing away. At least that's what happens regarding the material of the rim 19 of the supplementary cap 17, namely by reaching under the front edge 11.
  • a deep-drawing tool W is shown there, consisting of an upper deep-drawing stamp 21 and a deep-drawing die 22.
  • the deep-drawing die 21 moves clock-controlled in a vertical x-x and on.
  • Run over the work table of the deep-drawing die 22 two strips I, II of correspondingly thermoformable Material too.
  • the stripes I, II cross each other. It there is a rectangular inlet.
  • Under shutdown of the deep-drawing die 21 are both strips at the same time I, II in a cap-like structure in the same direction reshaped.
  • the desired adhesive connection Shortly before the thermoforming process is finished the desired adhesive connection by forming a ridge both caps 1.17 generated, in a separation interface 23 between the product and the waste material the strips I, II.
  • the ridge formation is made that apart from the separation there is a crushing of the Material between a wall section 24 of the deep-drawing die 22 and a concave step 25 of the deep-drawing stamp 21 results.
  • the materials penetrate in one irregularly corrugated F joint something into each other even leads to undercut-like situations. In any case the adhesive bond achieved in this way is sufficient. Special Fastening aids are therefore unnecessary.
  • the process is also extremely economical in that by the deep-drawing tool W with a punch 26 in one section of material, that is outer cap 1 forming strips I in one Punch hole 9 before deep drawing.
  • the result is an extremely simplified one Manufacturability.
  • the process begins with that intended for the manufacture of the crimpable, stronger cap 1 Strip material punched and then deep-drawn is, with this deep drawing the hole closing Foil section, i.e. the supplementary cap 17, cap-forming is inserted.
  • cover A In terms of disposal, cover A only falls two types of: cap 1, supplementary cap 17, both made Aluminum, and the plug 6 made of rubber.
