Abstract

L'invention concerne un dispositif de protection contre les chocs, notamment pour les occupants de véhicules, surtout de véhicules automobiles. Ce dispositif comprend un sac gonflable en tissu, avec ou sans revêtement et comprend un élément de retenue côté admission du gaz, une partie supérieure (côté impact de l'occupant) et des andes de retenue. Les extrémités des bandes de retenue sont reliées les unes aux autres ou bien à d'autres éléments (points d'assemblage). Afin de pouvoir relier les extrémités libres des bandes de retenue (1', 2') entre elles ou avec d'autres éléments constitutifs du sac gonflable, de manière à ce que les uns et les autres soient dans la bonne position et assurent un fonctionnement fiable dudit sac gonflable, il est par conséquent impératif de positionner et de fixer les extrémités des bandes de retenue, ainsi qu'éventuellement les autres éléments constitutifs, les uns par rapport aux autres, avant de les assembler. A cet effet, les bandes de retenue (1', 2') ou d'autres éléments constitutifs du sac gonflable comportent une perforation (6), une ou plusieurs partie(s) saillante(s) ou un ou plusieurs évidement(s) pratiqués dans la zone de chacun des points d'assemblage (3').
