  • closure members have numerous disadvantages.
  • One of these disadvantages results from the fact that the dimensions of the door frame do not correspond to the size and shape of the tiles used. If, for example, the tiles have a recess on their front side and the frame covers this recess at least partially, the part of this recess located below the frame must be covered with mortar or the like in order to avoid unwanted deposition of dirt. be filled in, which results in an unsightly appearance.

Abstract

A sealing frame for apertures in a wall, in particular the anter wall of a tile stove, comprises a concealed frame (3) to which a removeable panel frame (1) is attached. An opening gate is mounted moveably in the panel frame. The concealed frame (3) consists of two frame components (4, 5) which can be mutually displaced vertically in relation to the plane of the panel frame, and which can be fixed in their respective positions with screws (10). The tiles, or the like, are mounted betwen the flanges (7, 9) of the frame components (4, 5).
