Definitions

  • the invention relates to a lifting and carrying device for the care sector according to the preamble of claim 1.
  • a known lifting and carrying device of this type (CH-A-134 778) is designed as a bed gallows.
  • the support column is held on a head part of a hospital bed by means of a fastening device. It consists of a guide piece attached to the support arm and a clamping part articulated on it. The head part is clamped between the guide piece and the clamping part or leg.
  • the suspension element is a rope that is hooked into a hook on the free end of the suspension arm and to which the retaining element, a handle, is attached.
  • This known lifting and carrying device is only intended for attachment to a bed to help people get up in bed.
  • this device cannot be mounted on a wall of a bathroom to serve as a stand-up aid or a lift for sick or disabled people.
  • This device is unsuitable for such an application because the support column is only supported by the fastening device on the head part of the bed. The lifting and moving of sick people on the lifting and This known device or the head part of the bed could not accommodate the carrying device or its supporting column.
  • a bed boom is also known (US Pat. No. 4,644,595), which is used to raise sick patients from a lying position into a sitting position.
  • a support arm is arranged pivotably in the vertical direction on a support column of a stand.
  • the holding means is attached to the free end of a chain, the other end of which is arranged on the support arm.
  • the chain used as a suspension element is not adjustable in length.
  • the support arm In order to adjust the holding means to the respective person, the support arm must be pivoted accordingly.
  • the support column is firmly connected to the stand so that it cannot be removed from the stand for attachment to a wall or the like and can be transported to another place of use and fastened there again. Since the support column with the support arm cannot be detached from the stand, it cannot be easily transported from one place to another.
  • the stand is relatively high and has long feet, which are very annoying during transport.
  • a supporting column with a supporting arm is connected via a plug pin to a vertically extending supporting tube of a chassis.
  • a holding device for carrying and lifting sick people is attached to the support arm with a height-adjustable suspension means. This device is not suitable for transport and attachment in another location.
  • the invention has for its object to design a device of the type mentioned so that it can not only serve as a bed gallows, but also as an aid for lifting and moving sick and disabled people and can be easily and quickly transported and installed elsewhere even with minimal space requirements.
  • the support column having the holder can be fastened to the counter-holder simply and quickly by a plug-in process.
