Definitions
- the invention relates to a lined up with bricks, shingles or other slab roof covered with slab-shaped elements with an openable Roof window.
- skylights are very often slanted Roofs built in to make the attic habitable.
- the well-known roof windows can be opened by swiveling around a horizontal axis.
- CH-A-673 871 is a sloping glass roof with opening slats (page 2, right Column, lines 50-53) known, e.g. is used for conservatories.
- the Slats are formed by frameless multi-pane insulating glass, which through Handlebars (3, 4) are pivotally held.
- US-A-4,986,039 shows a conventional tile roof (Fig. 12).
- the roof has several skylights (100, 102, 103, 104). These are used that they protrude significantly beyond the level formed by the bricks (Fig. 5).
- Each roof window has a single continuous glass pane (Fig. 1, reference number 38; Column 4, lines 54-58), which is pivotally mounted. The window therefore has a single wing and this is much larger than the visible part of a brick.
- the roof window known from EP-A-0 326 503 is also only a large one Insulating glass pane available. In principle, this is the same as that from US Pat. No. 4,986,039 known. The only difference is that the disc is in the same Level as the brick is arranged. I.e. the window is not out of the roof out. With regard to the pivoting of the window, this reference is nothing to infer.
- DE-B-1 069 032 describes a swing window in which the axis of rotation is located approximately in the middle of the wing.
- the swing window is more conventional Design, i.e. the window consists of a single pane, which is much larger is as a visible part of the brick next to the window.
- the object of the invention is now a roof of the aforementioned Specify type that is both aesthetic, in particular monument conservation, as well as technically satisfied.
- the solution is that the roof window essentially through several, slidable disc slats overlapping each other to open is formed, which are arranged in the closed state in the plane of the roof skin, the in the closed state visible part of the disc lamellae in the direction of the fall line is about the same length as the visible part of the brick is arranged next to the roof window.
- the skylight itself has a similar structure to the surrounding, covered with bricks, shingles or other plate-shaped elements Roof open and is aesthetically well integrated into the roof area. Different as in the state of the art, there are no protruding ones (i.e. from protruding elements).
- Louvre windows can be of any size. It can also always be problem-free can be cleaned on both sides of the roof space.
- the individual Disc slats designed without a frame. This will make it look optical a smooth transition between the roof window and the side tiles created.
- a gutter construction can be provided at the upper edge of the roof window which is the flowing off of the bricks lying above the roof window Water on the top disc slat or in the side Drainage channels. It can be, for example, a simple one Drip plate act that between the bricks above and the bottom lying roof window is provided.
- the lowest disc lamella can be the next row of bricks just partially overlap. But it can also be a suitable one Drip plate between the lowest disc lamella and the following one Brick row must be inserted.
- the lowest disc lamella is used as a "differential dimension" to adjust the standardized window length at the length of the hatch opening, then preferably not openable, but fixed. This is also why advantageous because ice formation starts there early in winter.
- the Seal between the disc lamella and the roof or a gutter construction can then be secured with a putty.
- the isolation there is e.g. with sealing lips on known Executed wisely.
- the disk fins are used to achieve good thermal insulation preferably double glazed.
- the window frame of the roof window points at least two sealing lips resting on the lateral edge of the disc lamellae which, when the disc slats are closed, one towards the inside and Limit outside air chamber.
- the invention is particularly suitable for use in listed buildings Buildings with saddle, hipped or other sloping roofs.
- FIG. 1 shows a roof according to the invention with two roof windows 2.1, 2.2. It it can be seen that the closed window 2.1 in the plane of the roof skin 1 is arranged. It has a series of overlapping openable ones (see roof window 2.2). You have about that same repetitiveness as the surrounding rows of bricks. There is no essential window frame projecting beyond the roof skin 1. All of this leads that the roof window 2.1 harmoniously in the sloping roof integrated.
- the roof window 2.2 is opened by swiveling up the window slats. Unlike the conventional roof windows, this creates a row ventilation ducts, which - as practice shows - improved air circulation and bring with it room ventilation.
- a row ventilation ducts which - as practice shows - improved air circulation and bring with it room ventilation.
- In the invention act through the erected disc slats formed channels in the sense of a better Air circulation together in such a way that e.g. at the bottom opening incoming hot air flows out at the next higher one.
- the one in the top Area openings are for those creeping on the roof Hot air is difficult to access and therefore cannot flow be blocked.
- Fig. 2 shows the roof window in plan view.
- the roof window in the present case has ten disc lamellae 3.1, .. 3.10. They each have a width b that is greater than their height h. They overlap in pairs with their broad sides in an overlap area 4.
- the ten disc slats cover a free hatch opening 5, the height of which is greater than their width is completely down.
- one or more drip plates 6, 8 are provided at the top and bottom of the roof window.
- the drip tray leads from the ones above the roof window Bricks flowing water on the top disc 3.1 and in Water channels 7.1, 7.2 running to the side of the roof window.
- Fig. 3 shows the roof window in longitudinal section A-A according to Fig. 2. It is clearly recognizable that the window lamellas 3.1, .. 3.10 as double glazing are designed for increased thermal insulation.
- the outer glass pane is offset and overlapped in relation to the inner one with the upper edge of the next lower disc lamella (overlap area 4). The inner edge of the glass pane reaches under with its upper edge the lower edge of the next higher disc slat.
- the disc lamellae 3.1, ... 3.10 are, e.g. in CH-A-673 871 disclosed, pivoted. In particular, they are shown in FIG. 3 Mechanism, not shown, with drive rods 9.1, 9.2 (see FIG. 4) connected. By moving these drive rods 9.1, 9.2 in the longitudinal direction the disc lamellae 3.1, .. 3.10 due to the not shown Mechanism around one near its upper edge horizontal geometric axis rotated.
- the drip plate 6 forms a V or L-shaped water channel in cross section. With its upper end, it engages under the brick lying higher up 10.1.
- the upper part of the drip tray 6 is flat and is located approximately in the same plane as bricks 10.2 arranged at the same height.
- the lower drip tray 8 catches that from the lowest disc lamella 3.10 draining water and leads it to a brick lying below 10.3.
- the essentially V or L-shaped drip tray 6 is bent in a hook shape at its lower edge to form a drip nose.
- a further drip tray 21 engages in this hook its lower, beveled end so far over the top disc 3.1 protrudes that the dripping water is reliably discharged from the latter can be.
- the drip tray 21 sits on a support or insulation body 22. Das Drip tray 6 in turn is on top of a 15.3 and below supported the drip tray 21. A bellows seal 26 between the insulation body 22 and disc lamella 3.1 and one at the top of the latter attached lip seal 27 provide insulation.
- the cavity between the battens 15.3 resp. the drip tray 6 and a wooden ceiling 20 of the living room is in a known manner with insulation material 19 filled out.
- the drip tray 8 which rests on the brick 10.3 in the lower region, is folded twice in the upper area to form a hook-shaped Profiles. This profile rests on the one hand on the insulation body 24 and is on the other hand connected by the filling compound 23 to the disk lamella 3.10.
- the rainwater therefore flows from the disc lamella 3.10 onto the drip tray 8 and then on the brick 10.3 below.
- FIG. 6 shows the skylight in a shortened cross section along the Line B-B according to FIG. 2.
- FIG. 7 shows an enlarged section thereof.
- the disk lamella 3.4 essentially consists of two glass panes 11.1, 11.2, one through the larger, outer Glass pane 11.1 bonded intermediate frame 12 are connected.
- this intermediate frame 12 is therefore concerned not around a surrounding frame that the two glass panes 11.1, 11.2 encompasses the edge, but around one with respect to the edge of the outer Glass pane 11.1 set back spacer frame. This makes the disc lamella work 3.4 extremely light and flat.
- Drip angles are on both sides of the side edge of the disc lamella 3.4 13.1, 13.2 attached that the rainwater reliably into the respective Water channel 7.1 resp. 7.2 direct.
- the water channels 7.1, 7.2 are more or less U-shaped in cross section Sheets 14.7, 14.8 formed. Sheets formed in strips 14.1, 14.2, 14.4, 14.5, which on the water channel 7.1, respectively. 7.2 molded are overlapping those that laterally adjoin the water channels 7.1, 7.2 Bricks 10.4, 10.5 and 10.6, 10.7. Another sheet 14.3, 14.6 is on the battens 15.1 resp. 15.2 fixed.
- two rafters 18.1, 18.2 are provided on the inside of the wooden ceiling 20 and Edge of hatch opening 5 . According to In an advantageous embodiment, they cover part of the hatch opening 5 such that the drive rods 9.1, 9.2 (each in the vicinity of the Are arranged optically from the inside. The above Drive rods 9.1, 9.2 are therefore only from the living space with the exact Look to see.
- the invention is not limited to the figures illustrated embodiment.
- the draining constructions and the gutters can also be designed differently.
- the different measures to increase thermal insulation can be changed, reduced or can also be omitted if necessary.
- the mechanism for moving resp. Swiveling the disc slats can be done with wire constructions as mentioned in the CH patent or be implemented in some other way.
